Everybody can be tempted to cheat, and to scam others, but it’s totally your choice to resist it or to succumb to it.
We have seen people being caught for cheating and scamming others in this forum and later regretted their actions, this set of people were tempted to cheat or scam but they succumb to it.
It is true that overcoming some temptations are very difficult but the best way to easily avoid temptation is by cutting, eliminating or abandoning things that would lead you to temptations, for example having AIt account in this forum is not against the forum rules but cheating with it is against the forum rules so if you have AIt while not abandon it for good so you won’t be tempted, I abandoned my AIt account a long time and I have even forgotten the account details and I did that to avoid being tempted to cheat with it in the future.
Temptation usually isn’t random—you’re most likely to fall into it when you’re close to it, used to it.
So try as much as possible to avoid, eliminate and abandon anything that could lead you to temptation.

Love the ideology here. Makes a lot of sense. Although, nothing is stopping anyone from creating an account in 2 seconds to throw trash around the forum and then abandon ship which is something I often see. — it’s not a case of “cheating”. It’s an entirely different issue regarding reputations but it is damaging and certainly wrong.

Temptation don't just start big but the little chances that we ignore that grows it because someone will be like am not doing that anymore but the moment the person is still around the thing that can Push you one day eventually such person will still find itself doing the thing again. What m trying to say is that sometimes the strongest way to discipline yourself is not about you resisting but moving away from the environment or surrounding that will test you and that's wisdom and not being wicked or mean because as humans we all have that side that can act up if the chances shows up again so the best way to handle this is to set boundaries for yourself before getting into problem or later end up regretting your actions that should be avoided from the start

Let me counter this, if someone assumes you are a person who can be trusted with 100 bitcoins and wanted to be an escrow and they transferred you an amount now you are saying that you won't get the temptation to ruin ths account temptation just to run away with 100 bitcoins, I am not saying that is what you do but there will be a thought atleast no matter how high their morale is.

But one who knows how to control and do what is right no matter the situation is the right which may not even be recongized but at the end of the day you can sleep peacefully by knowing that you did the right thing.

Your logic is correct. But it is not right that having an alt account will tempt anyone to cheat. The temptation comes from mental thinking. Those who contribute quality to the forum and never engage in bad things on the forum or do not want to cheat can also have an alt. But having an alt does not mean that it is part of the temptation. Many people can use alt to learn something or for various good purposes. The truth is that if someone is tempted to cheat, then even if they do not have an alt account, they will create different strategies to cheat or create a new alt account. They should expand their thinking, do not try to harm anyone. Because today you may be harming someone, but tomorrow you will be harming yourself.

When someone feels tempted that they have to do the right thing, the best thing that they can do is to do something just to counter that. You might be weak to fight it so run away from it. But if you run away from it and avoid it at all cost, that's how you'll be able to overcome and win over against it.

Greed is the major thing that leads to cheating with alt account if you have any because if you're patient enough, you will be accepted in two different campaigns but the urge of making more money irrespective of breaking the rules because the challenge for those who are greedy. Temptation is real and we need the grace of God to overcome it.

No matter how you try to advice a cheat, he will always be a cheat and one of the things that drives people into cheating is lack of contentment and greed. There are people that cheating runs in their veins so if you like advice from now till next year they will still cheat. Imagine a forum that is as free as bitcointalk where anyone can have an alt account and enroll them in different campaigns if they like, but you will still see people who thinks they are smart by enrolling in same campaign even when the manager has clearly stated that they shouldn't enroll their alt accounts. Cheating is just like a criminal; they will never change and even if they are caught, they will still cheat again.

We should not always find fault on temptation being the cause to why we fail, some of us were being greedy enough to do beyond what is expected of us, all we just needed is the atmosphere or chances to execute the evil thoughts in US whereby no one get to know about it, but when we have a clear conscience in us, even if the temptation comes, we are going to resist it by all means and move on with life without devaluing ourselves.

There's a deeper meaning to that and it's not actually about physical affection but the cutting of connection from making a person do that sin.

I agree, a person needs to cut their connection in it and have to avoid it at all cause. But we're living in a flesh and doing that is hard for someone who's not into spiritual living. And this opens the idea about people getting close to God or to the faith they believe will help them flee from sin.

I totally agree with you, if you have things that will lead you to temptation you need to cut them off because one of the things that usually make people to do some evil things are because they are around things that can tempt them, you cannot say you don't want to fornicate and you are keeping your girlfriend in the same house with you and she's sleeping in the same room with you you will surely be tempted to have sex with her one day, but if you have decided not to commit fornication and your girlfriend is far from you, you people don't stay in the same house and you people don't sleep in the same room to overcome fornication will be very easy for you people so it is better to cut anything that will lead you to do the things that you never wanted to do.
Sometimes you may not have the intention to cheat but because you have the tools available to you, you may be one day tempted to do it because of some financial situation you find yourself so it is better to cut out things that will lead you to cheat if possible.

If you don't have a cheating habit you can still have your alt as the forum permits it and still keep clean. Maybe you find it very difficult to resist the within that is why you could not keep up with your alt. 
If I may ask, did you ever declared the alt public before later abandoned because I have not find one so intentionally declare their alt. Secondly what is the username of the alt?
If you have become aware about the cheating characteristics in the forum and you know the risk involved and how tempting it could be to put you to the risk and you can not resist it then I think you did the right thing thereafter.
Cheating has been one of the exhibitions that leaves victims frustrated in the forum after get caught and so it is good desist and resist it even outside the forum.

You are very correct, everybody can be tempted to cheat and even scam people, but it is based on individual choice to resist it, or not.  Avoiding temptation is to cut what is pushing you into temptation. Just like the example that you gave concerning the forum, having an alt  account isn’t against the rules but when you’re using it to cheat or cause problem is bad. If you know that, that account will lead you to temptation you better leave it and protect yourself from problem in the future. Just like the Bible passage you mention if anything will lead you to hell you better cut it off.  All we need is self control and discipline because no matter how you’re tempted, you will still take a final decision whether good or bad one decision must be taken.

We don't have any excuse for why we commit any atrocities because the same feelings or urges that come over us to do it can still come in an opposite direction to us not to do it. Sometimes, we need to be well disciplined in anything we do, and also take our eyes off some things that are unnecessary for us to do.

When our time comes we will be able to achieve them at the right time without forcing ourselves to acquire what is being done illegally, we are also not to be intimidated by what we see others achieve, because such could lead us into others' situations beyond our control, while we should also be satisfied with what we have.

Not just the alt accounts but generally greed is the reason why people do so many wrong things. Some do not like to follow the rules because of their own selfish interest and greed that's why when they are caught in act they always come up with different excuses. You can avoid temptation by not involving yourself with things that would lead you to temptation and respect the rules if you do not have the mindset of a thief and a cheat.

Temptation is something almost everybody faces in real life. The closer you stay to something bad, the easier it becomes to fall into it. a good example is someone trying to stop gambling but still spending all day inside betting groups or betting apps will most likely go back to gambling again. Same thing with a person trying to stop stealing money at work but always having easy access to cash without discipline. Sometimes the best solution is just to stay away completely from things that can push you into wrong actions. Not because you are weak, but because humans can easily be tempted when the opportunity is always around them.

We are being tempted in different ways, and how you are tempted may be different from the way another person is being tempted. How we overcome it is by the principle and discipline we have already established in ourselves, to never do anything that jeopardizes our integrity.

I think each one of us has things they have said to themselves they won't fall victim to, no matter how the temptation comes their way, they will never go against what is against their rule, for example, it is one or two accounts they will have in this forum, they won't use it to scam or cheat in any campaign no matter how the offers are

a lot of people start with small dishonest things thinking nothing will happen. then later they end up losing their account reputation and people's trust. i think the worst part is when the person gets used to doing it. after some time it starts feeling normal in their head and changing becomes harder. that's why stopping it early is the best move. in the end everyone chooses the path they want to follow.
