No I believe this is a case of anecdotes, so you may just know people or they may know people for who this is true but there is an equal number of people who are losing on those same days. Personally for me I prefer to play more on weekends than on days of the week because I am more rested and relaxed since I do not go to work. With that I can spend more time looking at games before playing them, but also watching some games. On the days when you work and do other stuff it feels to me that everything is kind of rushed, so you are more doing it just do it and it is less enjoyable. I gamble mainly in weekends because of my work. The UCL and holidays are exceptions because I would have to create time to follow-up the one of the biggest football competition in the world. During holidays you have all the time to gamble. I have not really observed when I get my best wins since I mainly gamble on weekends. For me its quite simple. I don't usually get time to gamble during the weekdays since I am busy with my day job and household activities.
So I gamble on weekends only and whatever match is available to bet on the weekend, I bet on the same.
Besides that, we get more free time on the weekends and so I guess we can enjoy the bet during our leisure time.

For me I like gambling on weekends than week days . Weekend game is always fun and exciting, you have many clubs to play and aside that I feel ore relaxed and cool gambling during this period compeard to week days. I agree with you. Since I'm more into sports betting nowadays, I prefer weekends cause during weekends, I get to have more time available to analyze and check the game before it starts. It gives me enough time to analyze and decide before taking my bets. And I also get to watch most of the games.

I do not really care about whether it is the weekend or whether I am on a toilet break and have nothing better to do than to place a bet or two. Although I do not bet on sports unless there is a match going that I care about in the first place. So either way, no. I do not care about whether it is the weekend.

Also, I think it is unwise to dive so deep into analysing gambling so much, it will only make you more attached to gambling than usual. Which in itself can become a dangerous habit and you might lose money faster than you think.

I don't make a distinction between weekends and weekdays but it seems like I make better picks on days when there are fewer matches. I don't know if this is just me but when there are too many matches to bet on, I can end up placing bets on unnecessary ones. However, when the number of matches is smaller, it becomes easier to be selective.

I think we just have more time to predict games during weekends which might improve our strategies and  provide a better bet outcome. I personally don't believe in anything like this because gambling always depends on luck, and in my case, I have seen that most of the time when I am betting or gambling on the weekend, I face losses.
So in my case, if I were to say like you, then I would say that gambling is more unfavorable to us during the weekend, in this case I can also show logic, although it is not effective. For example, most gamblers gamble during the weekend and therefore gambling on the weekend is unfavorable to us.
