Help Omnisee to improve and  earn rewards  for every bug you find!

This is our round#2 of Omnisee 🚨 Bug Hunt campaign. If you find bugs, glitches, or anything that doesn’t work as expected, we want to hear from you - and you will be rewarded for it similarly like our round#1 campaign.

Omnisee provide  Free access to data that was previously only available to professionals and the special agencies  is now available to everyone. Their project offers complete anonymity (NO JS, NO LOGS, NO PAY, NO REGISTRATION), as well as unique visualization of transactions in various directions. Additionally, the database contains over 10,000 wallets with stolen coins (collected from public sources) so you can instantly see connections to scammers.

 WHAT TO DO:

• Browse the application and use the product as usual
• Spot a bug or functional issue
• Report it in your reply with details (steps, screenshots, etc.)

 WHAT TO REPORT:

• Suggestions (optional and highly appreciable)
• Minor issues (missing URL, spelling errors, cosmetic improvement)
• Major issues (front end validations, browser compatibility, unexpected page reloads or loops, incorrect data display, key page speed)
• Critical bugs (white screen as page crashes, logical error, security vulnerabilities etc)

 REWARD:

• Suggestions: ($0.00 however suggestions that worth a great value maybe rewarded)
• Minor issues: $0.50 to $1.00 per report
• Major issues: $5.00 to $10.00 per report
• Critical bugs: $20.00 to $50.00 per report

• Already reported issue will not count as a new report so please check if the issue has been already reported before you report your finding
• You can report a report if you think the report was not accurate and needs improvement
• I and Omnisee management reserve the right to categories your report and reward for it

Report Details: When the Satoshi genesis address is clicked, it showed incorrect data on the blockchain because it is truncated. Available balance and total received show zero as a result.

The Omnisee team should incorporate the full address to return correct data to avoid undermining trust in the Omnisee blockchain explorer.

Report Details: The placeholder text in the main search bar has very low contrast and many users may need to strain to see it. Even though experienced users generally know what to search in a Bitcoin explorer, the website should be made easy to use for all categories of users. The placeholder text's contrast needs tp be enhanced.

Report Details: In the footer, only the onion link is functional and leads to a destination, the others such as No Log Policy and API have no links. These should have important policy information and API documentation respectively. Proper hyperlinks should be incorporated to improve transparency.

Report Details Even though the SVG graph consistently overflows the screen, there is no navigational guide for the user on how to scroll through and see the rest of the graph. On both the horizontal and vertical axes, the overflow makes graph visualization laborous. There should be a clear instruction on how users could see the full graph or/and a fit screen button. I think a "fit to screen" or auto scaling should be incorporated to enable entire graph viewed at once.

Report Title: Hover Inconsistence in SVG Graph Legends and Labels

Report Details: Critical identifiers in the SVG graph such as "address," "change," "center," and "coinbase" are barely visible due to low contrast. Hovering above them with the cursor highlights theseelements by brightening them. However text labels positioned below these are not highlighted even when hovered. despite being barely visible due to low contrast.

Base contrast of all legents should be increased to improve accessibility standards and there should be consistent hover highlighting on all non-interactive labels.

Report Title: Scoring Bug - Risk score NEVER reaches 100/100 for best known scam or sanctioned address

I have selected legacy or segwit addresses linked to known scams, known thefts or known illegal funds. I want to use your AI DETECTIVE to check these addresses and see if they are flagged as scams or reported by the authorities

Expected: risk score = 100/100 for OFAC, Department of justice (doj) sanctioned or publicly confirmed scam addresses in chainalysis or other public reports.

Actual Result: Risk score never reaches maximum (100/100) but the maximum 85/100 or in the case of bitfinex hack address the 0/100.

Impact: A user or exchange using this tool might incorrectly assess a sanctioned address as "not maximally dangerous", leading to potential compliance failures or financial loss.

Report Title: The FAQ section explain a lot of things, but not how the analysis works with "AI Detective"

Report Details: One of the site’s key strengths, in addition to generating charts of on-chain analysis and the various links between addresses, is its use of an AI based method (I believe it’s an agent) to determine whether funds are of lawful or unlawful origin. The FAQ section does not explain how this agent works, what the evaluation metric is, or the deterministic significance of the value produced by the analysis.

Fullscreen Mode On The JS Graph is Skewed

When activated, the fullscreen mode of the JS graph renders at the top-left corner of the screen instead of being centered. This cuts off sections of the graph.

Report Title: The Labels Button Turns Blue But Produces No Change in Graph

Report Details: On the Javascript graph, when the Labels button is clicked, it turns blue showing it has been activated. But that is all that happens. The graph doesn't repond or show change in labels. They neither appear nor disappear though there are static labels at the buttom of the graph. The feature is practically non functional.

Report Details: Once you have accessed the website and entered the address, clicking on "JS Graph" takes you to the interactive chart, you will see a message saying "back to static graph", which takes you back to the chart called "transaction graph". Report Details: When the "Circle" option is clicked from the drop-down menu in the JS graph, no graph is generated. An empty page is returned. I think the circle mode feature was not implemented or it may be calling a misconfigured API.

Report Details: at the top of the page, you can export transaction and cluster data into .csv and .json files, whereas the button at the bottom of the page, after all the transactions and clusters, offers only the .csv file option

Report Details: The Tree mode of the Javascript graph returns two horizontal lines. though one is longer than the other, there are no labels, edges or explanatory texts for the graph. I think the user may be left guessing whether they're dealing with a bug or an unimplemented functionality. This mode lacks proper anotation and may need a tooltip for simplification.

Report Details: by entering an address with many transactions, such as the genesis address (1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa) or the 2013 scam address (1BoatSLRHtKNngkdXEeobR76b53LETtpyT) and selecting the "full graph" option, increasing the number of transactions to 100, the graph still fails to load even when keeping only a single hop, and the page go in "gateway time out"

Report Title: Layout Button Triggers A Delayed Loading of Graph

Report Details: Clicking the "Layout" button on the Javascript graph results in exceedingly long loading time for the graph. The slow loading time of the updated graph gives the impression of a broken or unresponsive functionality. The Omnisee team could speed things up or add a progress indicator to show the user that the graph is actually updating.
