Hey, everyone! I'm here to introduce Buzz Bux - head-to-head wagering platform where you and your opponent play the same game, same round. Highest score wins the pot.

For players: Pick a game, place a wager, and compete. It's that simple.

For creators: Build your own 2D or 3D games in minutes - completely free, no code required. Every game you create automatically gets skill-based matchmaking, leaderboards, tournaments, and friend challenges. We take a small fee from each pot, and 50% of that fee goes straight to you. You can also host tournaments on any game, set your own ticket prices, and keep up to 10% of ticket sales. Create something fun, share it, and earn from every match played.

Dropping soon - BB AI: Create fully playable, wager-ready games just by describing what you want.

If you want to be a game creator, I'm giving away $100 play-to-unlock bonuses + free cash to get you started. Drop a comment and I'll set you up. I'd love to see games built by the Bitcointalk community.

Sounds like peer-to-peer gambling, doesn't it? If I intend to gamble there, should I have to wait for opponents? Or do I have to manage also opponents from my ends? Normally we gamble against the house and never need to wait for anything; just gamble and get rewards or lose. So far I can see not many peer-to-peer gambling platforms succeed. So what's your plan to make your platform successful? So it will generate revenue from the pot by charging fees?

However, it would be better to create a professional announcement design with detailed explanations. So gamblers would know everything from your official announcement. You should have a strong marketing strategy, so what's your plan? Have you included the forum on your marketing list?

Hey, everyone! I'm here to introduce Buzz Bux - head-to-head wagering platform where you and your opponent play the same game, same round. Highest score wins the pot.

For players: Pick a game, place a wager, and compete. It's that simple.

Great questions, appreciate you taking the time. Let me clear up the biggest one first:

You don't wait for opponents. Buzz Bux uses async skill-based matchmaking. You pick a game, place your wager, and play your run immediately. The system pairs you with an opponent of similar skill in the background - could be someone who played 30 seconds ago, could be someone who plays 10 minutes from now. Highest score wins the pot. True, this does require some amount of players to play the game, but requirements are not as stringent as let's say real-time matchamking. And we have tournaments that don't require matchmaking at all.

Tournaments eliminate need for matchmaking completely. When you enter a tournament, your score is counted instantly against the live leaderboard. You don't need to find an opponent or coordinate a session - just play your entries and your placement updates in real time. Prizes pay out automatically when the tournament closes.

On the "house vs P2P" question - you're right that pure P2P has a poor track record, mostly because of the wait problem you described. Async matchmaking and our tournaments solve that. From the player's perspective it feels exactly like playing against the house: instant action, instant result. The difference is that the pot is funded by another player's wager instead of the platform's bankroll, which means we can offer better odds (no house edge, just a small platform fee) and skill genuinely matters.

Revenue model: Yes - small fee on each pot. 50% of that fee goes back to the game's creator. Tournament hosts also keep up to 10% of ticket sales on tournaments they run.

Drop your username and I'll get the $100 play-to-unlock + free cash credited so you can try a few matches and a tournament yourself.

Welcome to bitcointalk!

You must have missed the pinned post, but for the $100 bucks bonus, best to keep it in a separate thread in games and rounds board or have members PM their usernames to you which a lot of casino representatives do. Otherwise this ANN would be filled with application posts.

To be specific, I'm referring to "Post in this thread for free x". That belongs in Games and Rounds. Though it isn't limited to that, in general you shouldn't be giving people incentives to post in your thread, it's disruptive to actual discussion.

Since this is a p2p game, I hope we don't have to wait too long for the opponent to show up.

So we need to wait 24 hours after adding an address to even be able to withdraw, and then wait some more for the site to approve withdraw-

Not something thats done by any other site right now, so i am curious to know how and why this is implemented

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2026/05/06/UJQJ5W.png

Not something thats done by any other site right now, so i am curious to know how and why this is implemented

The 24-hour cool-down on a newly-added withdrawal address is an anti-account-takeover measure. The attack we're guarding against is depressingly common in crypto-adjacent apps:

  1. Attacker gets into your account (phished password, leaked email/password combo from some other breach, malware on your machine, etc.)
  2. They add their own wallet address as a withdrawal destination
  3. They drain your balance to it in the same session

If add-and-withdraw can both happen in one go, you find out you've been hacked when your balance is already gone. The 24-hour window gives you time to notice. You get an email the moment a new address is added, and again the moment a withdrawal is initiated. If either of those wasn't you, you have time to lock the account and stop the drain before any money leaves.

It's the same pattern Coinbase, Kraken, and Binance use. Coinbase calls it "address whitelisting cooldown," Binance does 24h on new whitelisted addresses, Kraken does up to 7 days. We're not inventing this. We're just one of the few skill-gaming platforms applying it. Most others don't, which is exactly why account-drain stories are so common in this space.

A few things to know:

  - It's a one-time wait per address. Once an address is approved and past the cool-down, future withdrawals to it are instant. No 24h wait every time.
  - The "site approval" step is automated, not manual review. Withdrawals process within minutes once an address is unlocked, assuming standard checks pass.
  - If this is genuinely blocking you on a time-sensitive withdrawal, DM me and I'll look into your account personally.

Hope that helps explain it. Happy to hear if you've got ideas on how we could keep the protection without the friction. We're actively listening.

Doesnt make sense to me for new accounts, you could just implement this on second address onwards, but what are the odds of a new account with 0 withdraws getting taken over ?

Edit: You could also just ask for a withdraw address at the time of registration, and afterwards any new address needs 24 hours wait

Appreciate the heads up on the bonus thread placement, that's super helpful. I'll spin up a separate thread in Games and Rounds for the $100 bonus claims so this announcement   stays clean for actual discussion. Will edit the OP once it's live.
On the wait time, fair concern, but the short answer is you basically don't wait. Two reasons:

 - Tournaments eliminate the wait entirely. This is what I'd actually recommend, especially while we're still growing the player base. You join (or create) a tournament, pay the ticket, and start playing right away. Your score goes on the live leaderboard the moment you submit. No opponent needed, no pairing, no waiting. When the tournament ends, prizes pay out automatically based on final placement. Creators can host their own tournaments too and keep up to 10% of ticket sales.

- Friend challenges let you skip matchmaking entirely if you've already got someone in mind. Pick a game, set the wager, and you get a share link. Send it to your friend (Discord, Telegram, wherever), they click, play their run, highest score wins the pot. Great for grudge matches or just settling who's actually better at a game.

- 1v1 matches use async skill-based matchmaking. You pick a game, place your wager, and play your run immediately. The system pairs you with an opponent of similar skill in the background. Could be someone who played 30 seconds ago, could be someone who plays 10 minutes from now. Either way, you don't sit in a lobby waiting. You just play, and the result comes back when the pairing resolves.

So whether you want quick 1v1 action, a head-to-head with a friend, or compete-against-the-field, neither path has you sitting around. Drop your username in the bonus thread (once I post it) and try a tournament first, that's the smoothest first experience.

We're going to ship this adjustment today: the 24-hour wait will only apply to additional withdrawal addresses added after the first one. Your first address gets approved as soon as you confirm the email link, no cool-down. Any address added after that still goes through the 24h window, since at that point the account has history and a balance worth protecting.

The one safeguard I'll keep on the first address is the email confirmation click itself, just so a hijacker who somehow gets in before you've verified your email can't add an address you never saw. But the time-delay portion goes away for the first one.

Really appreciate this kind of feedback, this is exactly the kind of friction that's invisible from our side until someone actually hits it. Will reply here once it's live.

Great,

Maybe you should also add a custom field for cash amounts, right now we can only play with preset amounts - 0.1$, 1$ and 10$. People should be able to play with whatever they want, and the other person can match it

So we need to wait 24 hours after adding an address to even be able to withdraw, and then wait some more for the site to approve withdraw-

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2026/05/06/UJQJ5W.png

Great idea,

We'll add the custom fields for cash/play coin amounts to friend-challenges. This feature should be live sometime tomorrow, I'll write here when it's up

Great,
one more thing, pending cash games should be refunded in 24h-48 hours. I think 7 days is too much wait time-

- Done. Withdrawal addresses no longer have the 24-hour cooldown - you can withdraw instantly, when you add your first withdrawal address. Pending games are expired and refunds issued within 24 hours, if no match has been found

Op it would have been better if you provide the website link at the announcement thread instead of us to browsing it manually. And when I checked www.buzzbux.io the web told me that "The train has not arrived at the station."  That is what I am seeing on the website and if really you are here for business, you should add some images from the website to the announcement thread to make it more beautiful and attractive. And from what you described on the Op, it looks like PTP kind of Casino games whereby house edge might have a limitation on the games. Since gamblers can play against another player.
