You are right, scammers want to take all kinds of opportunities. I know a case of someone who suffered losses due to his lack of knowledge and carelessness. He was holding BTC on an exchange . After that, his phone suddenly lost. Later, when he was going to set up that exchange on a new phone, he was facing some problems. Where it might have wanted verification due to identity issue and security reasons. But he couldn't understand the issue and tried repeatedly, so he got temporarily blocked.

He started looking for different ways to get help. Later, as far as I know , he joined a Telegram group and from there a scammer started talking to him personally offering to help him. After some time, that scammer manipulated that person I knew. He gave that scammer his email, password and also his personal documentation too. The scammer said he would fix it in a day .

Later, he got access to the exchange by his own trying as that scammer stop communication , but there was no crypto he had deposited inside. Although these small problems seem easy to us, those who are new take it very difficult. And from the beginning should not hold Bitcoin on an exchange. Because we do not have complete control over it.

You know beginners always get moved by social media lifestyles, and that's why the majority of them easily fall into the hands of scammers.
