So I was reading through topics on this forum today and I come across this one

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218972.0

Are they robbing people by finding bitcoin keys all in the name of puzzle?

Who owns those Bitcoin? Is the person who created the topic intentionally scattered 1000 Bitcoin on different wallets and ask people to start solving them to earn those bitcoin?

Or they are doing this to find keys to wallets that the puzzle chief don't own? Wouldn't this practice an act of stealing people's bitcoin?

Lecture me about what I don't know, it's why I am here afterall.

Why should anybody "lecture" you just because you're too lazy to read and to try to understand what the Bitcoin challenge or Bitcoin puzzle is all about?

Don't tell me you spent more than a few seconds to figure it out yourself. Actually, you likely didn't even try.

And no, it's not about robbing or stealing someone's coins. The puzzle creator and maybe someone else, too, invested about 1000 Bitcoins to setup a challenge what artificially lowered entropy private keys can currently be cracked. Puzzle #71 is next to be solved for a puzzle with unknow public key, puzzle #135 is next to be solved for those puzzle (divisible by 5) where the public key has been deliberately exposed. Roughly about 916.5BTC are left in the pot of unsolved "puzzles" currently.

You want to be spoon-fed? Well, today you're on diet. Grin   You win a prize for bad topic title, btw.

Op might also be talking out of his innocence but I doubt because, his point of views are being too harsh like he wants to get what he is expecting that should satisfy his emotions and not the fact behind the original thread in reference.
I don't find any essence in this thread either other than trolls.
Or he probably did not believe one can actually genuinely afford to give out such amount of bitcoins all just by solving puzzles. So he felt skeptic with the game.

Yup that's big amount of bitcoin for challenge, it's crazy and hard to believe, sorry if I sound annoying.
