How did you get introduced to Bitcoin?

Through Ponzi schemes, and also cloud mining offers online, in 2017 almost all websites you visited have that banner about you buying hashing power and getting paid every 24hrs.

I swear I rooted through every possible online ways of making money, I lost a lot of money trying them out one after the other until I found Bitcoin and I started doing Airdrops and claiming faucets too.

I later jumped into Bitcoin mining, even Ethereum too, no one introduced Bitcoin to me, I found myself and that was through my hardship at the time and I still prevail.

Mine was my uncle that has made it big through Bitcoin, i could remember that faith day when things was very hard on my side, so on that faith day, i went to his house with the purpose of asking him for money and he turned my mindset of asking him for money, and show me ways on how i can start investing in Bitcoin gradually by gradually and years to come i will come back and thank him later, so i was very interested because it is something that involves changing my life status, at first it was not easy on my beginning but with what i passed through life, encourage me never to give upon myself and to keep investing as i can with discretionary income, and my life in the forum encourage me more because seeing so many discussions and contributions that was very helpful to me, i still never want to give up. Advise to all newbies, no matter how building up Bitcoin portfolio might looks never give up upon yourself and keep pushing with the discretionary income you have and your story will surely change one for good.

My first interaction with Bitcoin was through a ponzi scheme. Then, I was just a naive dude looking for ways to make money online and I was introduced to a ponzi scheme. I bought some Bitcoin and joined the scheme. To cut the whole story short, I got scammed and I distanced myself from anything called online money. It took me some time to give crypto another shot, and here I am.

My first introduction to Bitcoin:

Before Bitcoin, I was introduced to a coin called Stellar.
(I got a marketing project from a freelancer market in 2014 that was for a website called Stellar) and in 2014, if you opened a Stellar account and verified it on Facebook, you would get around 7000 to 10000 Stellar coins for free.

At that time, I knew about an exchange site called ‘JustCoin’, where Bitcoin could be obtained/converted in exchange for Stellar coins, and that is where I first heard the name Bitcoin.
As far as I remember, when I first started selling Bitcoin as a seller, the price of Bitcoin was around $300 to $400 and my first buyer was an Australian citizen (LocalBitcoin user), who made a transaction of just $10!

You've known Bitcoin and crypto for a very long time, how come your account says 2024 then? Or that's when you get to know about this forum? LocalBitcoin brings back memories, thanks for bringing this up, I remember using it to spend some Bitcoin at the time.

I made up my mind to create an account on this forum in 2022 but I've known Bitcoin since 2018, I failed to make up my mind at the time because I wasn't sure if it's something I wanted to get involved with, but later that changed.

I read about Bitcoin online, I can't actually remember then I started to do my own research on Bitcoin, then I started playing around with trading too.

Most of my circle are into crypto currency and some of them seeking for knowledge about bitcoin and seen this forum too by that I just having a good time to become a ghost reader because I dont get it what they are talking about afterwards I decided to create an account, start with my local and learn and earn experienced, now here am I, still learning and trying to explore more related into space still newbie for every trend and innovations in crypto space.

This was my path too.
I don't think there is any way to make money on the Internet that I haven't personally tried, from MLM, RevShare, PaidToClick, etc.
It was my friends, with whom I collaborated in these projects, who referred me to btc and suggested that I join.
Honestly, I didn't join right away, I was skeptical at first after all the online failures before and now I regret not joining right away.
BTC turned out to be the only successful online project in which I participated.

Social media was the primary vehicle through which I first learned about Bitcoin. Some influencers were promoting several crypto projects including Bitcoin. Many of them ultimately became scam projects. So many people began to avoid the crypto industry because they suffered losses due to the shitcoins and Ponzi schemes that were popular at that time. It was after some years that I understood Bitcoin through a friend. He was able to distinguish between Bitcoin and others and this was how I became interested.

The information about Bitcoin and crypto currencies is basically everywhere even much talked about in movies, used for music, talked about on the news and even among friends who think they are woke,it's a widely talked about topic that I couldn't get enough of.
It is like everywhere I turned, the subject of Bitcoin is brought up and I just had to do some digging deep for my self, hence I got hooked.

At first I thought it was a Ponzi scheme or scam project but it lasted more than I thought without failing and kept making progress because of the new systems and projects meant to help it achieve major adoption. I just had to come onboard from the day I discovered this forum even existed. Although it took me awhile to get fully involved, but am happy about the progress I have made so far.

I was introduced to bitcoin by my relative . Then we didn't know much about it we where only aware that its a digital asset and few basic knowledge too , but then I was not into bitcoin , was wasting my resources and time on other cryptocurrency which I later learnt my lesson  through experience.

Then I got into this forum , which fully opened my eyes to see the wonder of bitcoin and to understand how it works more , same time making me to realise how vital knowledge and information is in this crypto space  .
