As for me, I got to know about Bitcoin around 2019 but I think it’s a kinda of ponzi scheme or something else that don’t really need one’s attention, not knowing that the future is unknown and I would have be counted as one of the billionaires in the world if not for my doubt and assumptions. But, now it’s not too late, as I’m making adjustments and making the right move, even though I neglected at first and I believe that I will still actualized my goals no matter how long it may take.

A lot of us who are enjoying the privileges of knowing Bitcoin were once skeptical about it. The common thinking was that Bitcoin was a means to scam people or a Ponzi scheme. I think it was during that period when the Ponzi scheme was a thing in the world, so there were a lot of warnings to be careful of online scams. But Bitcoin was trending. I remember vividly that I was still in school when the news of Bitcoin was spreading in society, instead of my parent to join in, they were busy farming. Bitcoin is worth nothing compared to what it was before. Leaving those who failed to adopt it at the early stage to be full of regret.

I'm not so surprised that you assumed it was a ponzi. At that time, we had too many negative issues about Bitcoin. Many countries refused it, it was linked with many criminal acts (funding terrorists, etc), and there was an issue that Bitcoin will be over soon. So, it was actually very reasonable that many people were afraid to buy Bitcoin at that time (including you).

But, now it’s not too late, as I’m making adjustments and making the right move, even though I neglected at first and I believe that I will still actualized my goals no matter how long it may take.
Sure, it isn't late to join Bitcoin investment. We can start to invest in Bitcoin at any time. However, we need to ensure that we buy Bitcoin when it is in cheap price. So, we need to understand the cycle and the trend in crypto market. During the bearish season, Bitcoin price will be in a cheap price. This is the best time for accumulating Bitcoin.

Yep we had too may Ponzi cases in the past. So, it also brings an impact to Bitcoin reputation. Since people didn't really know Bitcoin, they suspected it was a part of Ponzi schemes. However, Bitcoin has proven us that Bitcoin is a real asset. Nowadays, there is no doubt about Bitcoin investment anymore.

Ponzi scam scheme is a very old scam method used by scammers so it's not like because of Bitcoin appearance, there was a consequent appearance of Ponzi scam. Bitcoin is not responsible for that, and scammers simply used Bitcoin as tools for scamming victims but they have also used many other tools for that purpose.

This resource can help debunking the fud as "Bitcoin is a Ponzi/ pyramid scheme".

I have been hearing about bitcoin since but I did not know what it is about because nobody was able to explain it very well for me. Oneday a dude created a bicoin group, he say he will teach us about Bitcoin investment and I joined with joy.

After the group was full, the dude started the teaching of bitcoin, dude posted his picture and say that he is the richest man in the world and it is bitcoin that made him rich. The lie he blew that day made me know that some people can be very wicked and dumb at same time.

He later asked us to pay five dollar to a wallet address and that he will add us to VIP group and teach us how to mine and make plenty money from bitcoin. That dude was a wicked sicko because I know that he was deceiving people so that he would run with their money. I didn't know anything about crypto and how person can send crypto so I didn't follow the things he was saying. It was after that I went to read on bitcoin transactions and gather small knowledge of bitcoin.

My introduction to bitcoin was accidental let me put it this way. When I was still in school I had a friend that was doing very well financially, everyone thought/knew he was into something that wasn’t clear. I had questions his sudden change of life style as he was spending way beyond what I knew he was. Clearly you will say this person was into fraud, money laundering or some sort of criminal activity. but he never admitted, Whenever I ask him what he does he will say he’s into bitcoin and I was not even bothered about going to check what bitcoin was actually at that time  I was carried away with the stress of school. it was after few months that I said to my self let me even research about bitcoin self since thats what he claims he’s into and that was it.

I got to know Bitcoin in early 2015 through a video recommended on social media, I had also heard about Bitcoin before, at that time I didn't really care about Bitcoin because I was busy, moreover I didn't really understand its functions and benefits. I started to get curious as news about it started to spread, Bitcoin technology started to catch my attention and that's when I decided to research more about it. It turns out that everything related to it is very interesting, starting from making money, the concept of cross-border transactions and most importantly the Blockchain technology that supports it.

It took me a few weeks to convince myself to invest in it, even though I don't know what exactly happened after that, but it seemed promising enough to make me take such a risky investment decision. After about four months, the value started to correct, at that time I started to think, whether I had made a big mistake, but because I had previously read "Buy then forget", finally I started to just let it be without thinking about something that could burden my mind.
Slowly the value of my investment began to grow, my first journey was very stressful because I was faced with great risks, but because the process was long-term, it eventually turned into great rewards.

I don't think anyone really introduced me to Bitcoin because it was basically the internet that made me stumble on it and I didn't even take it seriously until I saw how beneficial it was becoming to a lot of people that's when I started and it wasn't too long before I discovered the forum which made me get more ideas about it and this became my objective. Bitcoin can actually be used as a retirement plan in the future, looking at how much it has grown over the years so far it means that Bitcoin has a lot of potentials and height it can actually reach in the future.
I like that part about bitcoin being a retirement plan for the future. This here is exactly my reason for getting into Bitcoin, I currently have an okay source of income, may not be all that good but at least I'm able to foot my bills and take care of my financial obligations without feeling any financial pressure. But that's not enough to serve as a retirement plan for me in the future, and getting to know about bitcoin was just about the best thing I could think of, I just knew that was it.

Really good to see that you have a good source of income. Do you own any physical source of income in the form of a business, or have you structured all your income online? Well, in my point of view, we should not rely solely on a single source of income these days, where the rate of inflation is rising badly, and due to this, it's getting much more difficult to manage daily basic needs. Other than this, it would be more better to invest the savings funds in bitcoin rather than holding it in fiat form or in banks. Just my point of view, DYOR!

As Bitcoin investment can be a helpful way for a future retirement plan. Because if we buy it today and accumulate it as much as we can with spare funds and savings funds, it will increase its price in the long-term time frame. This will benefit us in the long term. So, we can save our saving fudns in bitcoin for the best of our future. DYOR! What do you say?

So many of us have different experiences concerning how we get to know about Bitcoin and some of the ways we knew about it was in a bad way but still I believe that when we make mistakes it also teaches us lessons too. Learning about Bitcoin from friends sometimes doesn't go well like they only spit out only the good side of it, not saying everything in full details just to make you join the club and when we're in we start seeing a different pathway to it, that was how I was told about Bitcoin, a similar way, some part of me hated it at first but if not for someone who gave me things I need to know it would have been something to regret.

I heard about Bitcoin for the first time through my dad. Because some of his workmates where talking on how to buy and how the Price was growing. But from my own perspective then, I thought this is just another ponzi scheme again. Because we had lots of Ponzi schemes in my country, which didn't really make me to pay enough attention towards it. So when I later entered college, people were talking about it, so I said let me learn about this Bitcoin.   I used some YouTube channels e.g Coingecko, from twitter and through some of my friends who were already into Bitcoin and other cryptos. Then I started investing into Bitcoin and Altcoins (which I Lost a lot of my capital, so I decided not to buy Alts anymore) , until I joined this forum which exposed me to more info like how to figure discretionary income and using DCA approach etc. Well I am happy I got to learn about Bitcoin.

Share your experience with who, how and when you were introduced to BTCitcoin.!!  Cheesy

My first Bitcoin experience was on a random day with some gym buddies and they were talking about how they make some extra money by investing in some assets online and one even showed me how he was able to get somethings done for himself after awhile he has held onto Bitcoin and i wondered how real it was because then there were too many online Ponzi and scam schemes that were around then, so i was trying to be sure it was not one of such, so i had to delve deep into what it was and they showed me an app called luuno then, that was my first app with which i use to purchase crypto.

i downloaded the app then and it had a wallet for our fiat and then had provision for conversion from the fiat to any cryptocurrency of your choice, so i immediately made a deposit and then i converted some fraction of it to Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. i later added some more fiat to my wallet and got some more of the altcoins because they were exponentially appreciating, this was some weeks later after i found out that it was real and i could later convert my asset into fiat and withdraw to my local bank account. I later made research on my own and discovered more about Bitcoin and since then it has been the only coin i own after i joined the forum and got a better knowledge of what Bitcoin is as compared to what i have known much earlier.

A person beginning to learn about Bitcoin starts from different perspectives but it is very important for us to patiently gain the right knowledge, even though in the beginning we may not know or understand the right information.

It can be considered normal to make mistakes in the beginning but learning from mistakes and moving forward with the right knowledge and research, taking care not to repeat the same mistake in the future, is the real education.

There is no right time to start investing in Bitcoin, if you invest small amounts consistently with the right knowledge long-term planning and prudent money and wait patiently for the right time with confidence without getting disappointed quickly, then you can reach your destination in the future.

I knew about bitcoin 2019, when someone was running a ponzi business which was accepting payment with Bitcoin, and the first exchange I saw , and purchased Bitcoin was in Luno exchange, and then i never new how bitcoin works. After using it to make the online payment, some fraction of bitcoin was still remaining in my Luno account, and besides they were sending some bitcoin news on the luno platform, and was advising me to buy some bitcoin for storage. After sometime, I began to see the fraction of bitcoin in my Luno exchange fluctuating in value, and then I began to understand the nature of bitcoin.

However, this forum has helped to give me full understanding of bitcoin, the investment methods, and how one can really keep his or her bitcoin investment save.
