I ignore such activities whether its boxing match or any other kind of sport where celebrities compete. Because they do either to earn or to promote something. Imo every one should do their own job or duty. Professional fighters should fight, singers sing, actors shot in movies and etc. If someone goes to "other territory" earn a lot on that, and try to charge me for that - that is not correct. I am not a celebrity, but if I try to sing and ask little money for that (doing same as celebrities but in smaller scale), people will think that I am crazy or sick.

There are many ways people can use to make money, that will even make people to believe that its real and trusted, meanwhile nothing like that, they are just acting up to just promote or make more money. Maybe, the method they use to make money is no longer working, that is why they are using other ways to make money just to still remain the celebrity lifestyle because, that is what most people are just fighting for, to maintain that name and the costly lifestyle.

Exactly. And if "twisted" you mean something negative, I disagree. Those who buy the tickets have a right to choose what they watch. Same goes for the bettors. If it's more entertaining to them to bet on influencers or any other celebrities, who can forbid them? Maybe there are people who'd prefer watching real gladiators instead of MMA fights, but sorry, guys, times have changed.

What I mean is a preference on watching is bit twisted or peculiar not in total negative way.

Yes, I agree that everyone has the right to purchase any ticket that they want but most of this matches involved a person that is not a professional while other athletes dedicate their lives for training and slowly climb to the rank just to have a proper viewership when they already established their career.

What I wrote was what I believe can happen in any celebrity game  and not specifically the fight between Efe -and Zazu . Don’t confuse my word because there are no evidence they did that.

This is not the first one and if I’m not mistaken it starting to become a thing for early-mid yearly thing , but there’s absolutely no problem from my end, they do it to stay in game and get more attention apart from money ..
The Entertainment part is also there for sure..

I bet you can never see fights as such on any casino because it is unrecognised and unprofessional to start with. Most at times, fights of this nature can be fixed within themselves and people who have no idea what is really going on behind the scenes would be quick to put in their funds just to bet for they favourite celebrity and at the entire end it is a mess of itself. I would not even advise anybody to bet on flights of this nature otherwise you prepare yourself for the unfortunate if it be a fixed fight.

Yes, these celebrities have many ways to make more money and maintain their fame and extravagant lifestyle. Unfortunately, many of their followers do not realize that they are just a means to make more money and that they are just numbers and a way to increase the celebrities’ profits.

I am very surprised by those who follow the extravagant lifestyle of celebrities on YouTube or Instagram while they live in poverty and feel jealous and envious of the lifestyle of these people, and they do not realize that they are the reason for their fame.

This is the worst kind of betting and a way of money laundering be ause most of these,games are fixed game just to generate revenue from supporters. An example is the fight between Anthony Joshua and the YouTube influencer which we all could tell that it was a fixed match.

I have not placed a bet on any celebrity boxing game before and I don't intend on doing it because there are all fake. There are mostly unprofessional and for show, so it can be entertaining to show but not convincing to bet on.

I'm not the type of person who really likes to bet on matches that I think are 100% entertainment, for example, like that celebrity boxing matches. in matches like that, there are too many things that are engineered and made up to make the match look like a really hot and exciting fight, but we already know that it's all just fake, nothing more and nothing less than just getting quick money from the audience. What else would I say if not to say that one source of income is never enough to be sustainable in the long term while the celebrities will always want to keep a standard of entertaining the public and same time using the medium to make more money from the public.
However, in the case of this boxing competition, I don't think if it was basically designed for betting although there had been fellow of their celebrities who have much money and set up a prize for who wins on the process as the fighters proves their strengths and instead of them ending the fight by the roadside or streets since the both fighters have natural grudges for each other, perhaps it was better they turn the event to entertain.
Betting on the game does not make you stupid, you would still feel kind of the fun when bets on the professional boxing match and moreover it was not bad scripted event.

The last one which I noticed was portable and carter efe, and at the end Carter efe won the bet, actually I didn’t place bet on the match, and I don’t really know about any gambling site that permits people to place bet on the fight.

Those two people are content creators, so I believe the fight was just content, it’s not really a serious fight, they just wanted to get people’s attention, and they believe that’s what they can do to achieve that, and they were able achieve that. Attention was shifted to their side, during the period of their fight, everyone was just talking about them, and people were anticipating on the fight, but at the end Carter efe ended up winning the fight.

Before the fight I knew Carter efe was going to win, I know it was just content, so if I wanted to place bet in a fight like this, then am going to choose the person with the physical ability to win, since they are not trained fighters.

How can you tell when a fight is being set up genuinely though?
Because I cannot easily see the difference when a couple of celebrities throw insults at one another in other to heat up the emotions of their fans in order to capitalize a future fight and when they are actually willing to fight for real, for their sake of proving who is stronger.
If I could easily see the difference from one and another, I think it would save me  some money from being thrown at those events for actually no chance of winning.

In those fights, even those who seem to be more physically fit are somehow defeated by their foe...

I have little interest in betting on celebrity fights or exhibitions. It is not clear enough to predict when some of the participants are not professional fighters, even betting on real boxing which means professional fights I rarely bet on, but obviously nowadays exhibition fights are quite popular, even in my country quite regularly hold local celebrity fights, which indicates that there is a lot of interest in betting on exhibition matches.

The reason why I don't bet on most of these celebrities boxing match is because they are mostly exhibition matches and they are also unprofessional that's why it's not really interesting for me to bet on. These matches are fixed and a lot of times they are opportunities that the organizers use to make profit. Perhaps it's not every country that this happens but in my country celebrity matches are always fixed.

Those are my exact thoughts about such events, I never believe in them because I know that they are done only for money and publicity, either the organizers or the participants are doing it for the money they are going to get whether they win or lose, because such fights and events gain a lot of attention and a lot of money can be made from that.

So not only in your country, but almost in every country, when there are such matches of celebrities or unprofessional fighters, we should know that there has been a deal of some sort because they don't really need to do that, and if they are doing it, it must have a motive behind it, a motive that we won't know but we still know.

Whenever I talk about or listen to such celebrity fights or fixed matches, I immediately think about the match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, where it was clear that the game is fixed for Mike Tyson to lose for money, and it could be seen even in the fight where Mike was doing his best to act it out, and pretend like he is trying to win, but we could clearly see it. So I also think that it's useless to make bets on such matches or events, and we should rather use our money on some other sport.

When talking about celebrity boxing matches, we shouldn't fail to acknowledge someone like Jake Paul who was a big time influencer on social media before jumping into the ring to rebrand himself in a pursuit of boxing.
The match between Carter Efe and Portable as famously known by Nigerians, isn't just a beef, it's more like a start up of something bigger because this isn't the first celebrity match in Nigeria that has been witnessed.
It's just that celebrity boxing is becoming more of a big entertainment and business investment opportunity in the country and we would see more of it soon.

I do not mean to digress but I think that celebrity boxing matches are making the sport not to be as interesting as it used to be.
I am sick and tired of it. Right about now, everything is just about money and that's it. I remember listening to the stories of the late Muhammad Ali, and his conquest in the ring. I also remember the story of young Mike Tyson. They transcended beyond boxing , money, and carried real meaning in life, but now celebrities just want to do it for the money, the likes, the views that all, no inspiring stories of resilience, of discipline, and all those noble virtues.
