The boxing fight between Carter-efe vs Portable was actually one of the most talked about fight to ever go viral since this celebrity boxing fight started here in Nigeria, and to be frankly speaking, I did watched it, and it was very entertaining seeing Carter-efe give Portable the beating of his life. And honestly speaking, if the casino gambling companies here had enabled the betting of those boxing fight, I'm 100% sure many Nigerian gamblers would have placed a bet on those games, most especially myself, as I would have placed a bet for Carter-efe to win against Portable. I doubt if portable was actually the reigning campaign of that boxing fight, because you can't tell me that Portable actually fought Kiss Daniel bouncer and won him truly if actually it wasn't an arranged game. Because if you talk about Portable winning the other boxing fight he made with "Speed Darlington" and "Charles Okocha", then I maybe might believe those ones, but not actually the fight he did with Kiss Daniel bouncer, because that bouncer with just 2 punch would have taken Portable to coma, because the guy is huge and has the physical strength more than Portable. So it is obvious that very fight was an arranged fight.

You know what that illustrates? Most of those self-proclaimed celebrities with prestige are infact, nothing but a bunch of gabbies that are out to make the most of any trend online. I'm not surprised that they organized a competition and fought themselves in the ring as both needed the money and the fame that comes with it. Do you think David Adeleke would do a thing like that?

I am a bit late to the thread. The whole fighting isn't something that is going to be consistent. This one in particular happened because the both of them are somehow abnormal.

If there is news about any fight between celebrities, just know that it's going to be a fixed match and the result might most likely going to be different from what you'd have predicted.

I heard Portable saying his game with Carter Efe was rigged and I’m like what’s the guts about. Even his match against KISS Daniel’s bouncer was rigged then , it was more of a showbiz to me than anything else because the bouncer guy is too big for portable to defeat in real sense and I can’t believe that gimmick that portable succeeded in beating him. I took it for a showbiz that it is. Why portable could not beat Carter Efe in my own opinion because that their game was not an arranged one but was a really one and portable thought he could actually perform some magic without realizing that he subscribed for the match himself and if Carter Efe had allowed portable win that match it would have brought about shame and banters to him over the social media platforms because people don’t really care if it was arranged in this case and Carter Efe equally has that popularity and momentum now which has in fact increased after the game too.

The only way I would watch a celebrity boxing if only there would be a celebrity that I hate (because of his behavior, being arrogant, or deeds) or society hate, and there would be a chance that this celebrity will get punched in the face While watching the fight I would say that I wish I was his opponent. I did not bet on that match and would only bet for the cruise of it if I wanted and not because it would most likely be fixed, personally I would prefer to go watch that kind of match than bet on it. More of the thrill would be achieved if you're there live to watch two armature boxers of their level try to settle their longtime beef inside the ring. That kind of match is difficult to predict since neither of them has a history of fitness potentials, so its all a cruise match.

Most of the people who I know placed their bet on that match did it not because of anything much, but they did it as a result of supporting their own favourite celebrity, and it was a side bet, which is exactly what that type of fight deserved. Those celebrities fight are not even on any betting site that you will see to bet on. Meanwhile i don't even like the fight because is not necessary, since they have a good career they should focus on it and leave boxing because they don't just become a boxer suddenly, you must learn and practice a lot with mentor before you can fight, but on this celebrity boxing non of them knows how to fight or even defend a punch from the face, there is nothing to prove in fighting each other's, the only strength they needed to prove is becoming financially strong but since they are wealthy there shouldn't be any need for proven a physical strength.

Most of the celebrity fights, funny how portable has been among almost all of them, and after this recent fight I'm seeing some stuff online that the same defeated Portable is challenging to fight in the ring with a female DJ, which he thinks he could be able to win. It's just some funny thing, but if they actually approve of it, some of those jokes fights might just happen again soon.

Its no fun actually. Those celebrities ran out of stamina too quick and after second or even first rounds they more walk and throw a rare punch (that misses) than do boxing. Its fun only if celebrity gets his face, which he uses to earn money, get smashed That is fun, because they risk their potential career. But if they use 20 oz gloves, that are one of biggest, extra fat and barely do damage, then I doubt they even get a bruise after, then there is not fun watching.

Good point, that's one thing that we might have to look at. I remember a exhibition match between two legends in boxing, Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. The fight ended up in a draw and I think that it's a setup. So if you either bet on one to win, then you will definitely lost your bet as no one expects the fight to be a draw.

So they agree to fight hard, they stage a fight like in WWE, and at the end of the fight they declare a pre-arranged winner, divide the money, and move on with their lives. Meanwhile, professional wrestlers fight knowing that their financial source is precisely that fight.

However, not all match could have been fix. It really depends on which boxer are involved. Even Jake Paul, who is one proponent of exhibition match, has lost one before. So it's up to the parties, if they want to collaborate itself and tampered with the results. But again, it all depends on which one will likely benefited from this pre-arrange results.
