Xenophobic attacks on foreigners. South Africa a nation that is not grateful.

The funny thing about South Africa people is that some of them are filled with hate on other country people living in their country, because I don't understand why they can't get that same opportunity or should I say I don't understand why they can't create that same opportunities other country people are creating to get things working for them instead they occupy their heart with hatred and they forget that other African people living in that country of theirs are developing their country for them (South Africans) since they are lazy to engage their minds with better things.
This movement was started by just 1 person and the idea started spreading and it have poisoned so many jobless South Africans to start chasing foreigners away from their country, the painful part is that I hardly see the president or some government officials protecting the foreigners when the chaos begins, is bad and it looks like they too support what some of the citizens are doing, South Africans shouldn't forget that they have some of their brothers in other African countries too, very soon it will become pay back.

While watching the last rally they did against other African nations I noticed the South Africans doing this are the black South Africans. I can count the number of white South Africans that were doing those protest. This is to show that the black South Africans are the illiterates, the ones with poor education who cant get a job and compete in the work force.

They hardly show that same energy on the Whites that are in the country only on blacks and this ideas of those who felt they are being ignored by the government that the foreigners have taken what is theirs but they still can't take the position of these people they are asking to leave and that's to show that they don't know what they are doing or what they want only to create chaos in the country.
Like the woman they said started this madness she said they as in she's speaking for the others since they don't have brains, that they don't want the foreigners to stay that they should go back to their country and develop it that this country of theirs (SA) doesn't need them any more, that statement says it all that they are still living in the past, even if they are it means they are also forgetting how they got to where they are now. They forget that there are some African countries that helped them to be what they are today and now they choose to chase people off their country, too dumb if you ask me.

South Africa is going on a very wrong part because till today the economy of South Africa is been fueled by different African countries. Already many African countries has started the process of cutting of deplomatic ties with South Africa. In fact a Nigerian senator has called for the band and boycotting of MTN, DSTV and other South African companies operating in Nigeria in response to the attack on Nigerians.

It seems to me that South African has not leant history very well and do they don't know the role that was played by these foreigners that they are trying to throw out of the country, it seems to me that South Africans are not greatfull and the popular saying that they are lazy is true, why these foreigners are doing legitimate business, paying tax and so is even contributing to the economic development of the country. This is not a welcoming development because this types of moves will lead to
Weakening Africa United, Cause Deplomatic tension, Economic damage , Cause a regional and Humanitarian crisis. It seems to me that South Africa is calling the rest of Africa fools for helping liberate them from bondages.

I still reiterate that the violence against foreigners is politically motivated and not because of the lame excuses they give out there, because if you look it closely, those foreigners own more of businesses there and not white collar jobs, then why are they attacking them why they claim that their presence is denying them access to good jobs?

The President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan has given South African living in the country a 48 hour ultimatum to leave the country or face forced deportation, she has also closed the border and halted all trades with SA. Truly they're not a grateful country and are weakening diplomatic ties with fellow African countries with this renewed violence

I can count the number of South Africans I have seen in Nigeria; it is not up to 3, but I know there are more South Africans in Nigeria. But in South Africa, there are more than 5,000 Nigerians, if not more. I have 3 friends in South Africa, and one just went last two weeks for vacation. I might be a Nigerian, but I support what the SA people are doing. Let other Africans there without an SA document go back to their country. Stop running from your country and fix it for the future generation. The citizns of SA fought and fixed their coutnry, which is sad to see that foreingers are reaping from their sweat.

And you think doing it in a violent way that has lead to the lost of lifes and properties of innocent people is the best way to make them go back to rebuild there nations.  I hope you are aware that before South Africa became a little organised as they are now that they once had a destroyed economy which made some citizens flee for survival, but now they are raising against nations that where there for them in difficult times.  
I don't blame the South African citizens for all they are doing to Nigerian citizens seeking for a better life but blame the Nigerian government that never considered the interest of citizens but only there selfish interest,  if not for them what will an Average citizens of Nigeria seek in South Africa when we have all it takes to have a better life.

Violence is not what should be allowed or tolerated by the government regardless of the condition the people are stating, this is why there is law and people have to obey it by being patriotic to every directive from the leaders, this is why most of the attacks we see today are being fully sponsored by the politicians in power, do me not come out clearly to claim being responsible for such attacks, but through their instigation and financial support to miscreants in the society helps for continued attacks on innocent people.

I don't believe that country like South Africa should be involved in violence like this when they are only fighting for their selfish interest and supporting for diversity among the people, as this is purely an ethnic race segregation they are trying to implant in the country and this is not going to work because people are expected to live together in peace and integrate regardless of color or race, if things continue this way, South Africa may be a serious concern to United States of America.

It first started as a request to their leaders. The leaders did nothing about the situation. The South Africans also came out to protest, and yet nothing was done about it, nor did the government make a statement that would calm the noise and anger around the country.

I understand your concern, but people SA dont. SA was a country that all the African countries came together to help when they had a serious slavery issue in the past. I guess this new generation has forgotten that there will be no SA without the other West Africa, North Africa, and East Africa. And to date, if you take away the foreigners from their country, huge establishments will leave the country.

With the recent outbreak of yet another xenophobic attacks targeting foreigners most especially Nigerian, Zimbabwe, Botswana etc. It very sad to once again see Africans fighting themselves killing themselves burning properties worth millions of dollars, I just watched a clip of foreigners been treated as criminal in South Africa. It appears to me that the south African population seems bitter towards foreigners.


After looking critically at this whole issue, it seems to me that even the government of South Africa is in support of it because times with out numbers the government has watched their citizens do all these nonsense with their security personnel watching from a distance. They are saying that these foreigner are taking jobs from them that they should leave their land especially Nigerians which is at the center of the attacks. Already alot of countries have started to evacuate their citizens from South Africa. Country like Zimbabwe, Botswana has closed their borders with South Africa and has even cut off electric supply to parts of south Africa were they supply electricity.

After looking at this whole situation play out and seeing the government of South Africa not taking a strong measure to end this killing committed by their citizens and only giving frenzy excuses. It seems to me that South Africans don't know were they are coming from, they have forgotten how the rest of Africa stood by them and helped forced the apataied system in south Africa to a stop. Nigerians they are killing and calling criminals were at the forefront infact Nigeria was the one funding the ANC by deducting monies from salaries of their civil servants and sending it to fund the activities of the ANC and standing against the white rule in South Africa.

South Africa is doing more harm than good to themselves. Nigeria and most African countries stood up when the foreigners were maltreating them. The late Nelson Mandela fought for there freedom not knowing that the generation to come will hate other African citizens. We have freedom of movement in the world but SA felt threatened by the influx of foreigners in there country. SA misguided population felt the foreigners are taking there jobs and there women therefore they must leave. Killing your African brothers and sisters makes no sense at all. SA people are also scattered around the world and if they are treated same, will they be happy? During apertied, African countries stood up and supported them and in return,SA are killing and looting from those that supported them in the time of crisis in there country. SA should be sanctioned by African Union.
