I don't know how it is for everyone else, but I personally really like it when I give advice to someone and they benefit from it.
There's nothing easier than giving advice to others (no risks, no responsibility). Smiley

Since I learned about Bitcoin, my interest in it has increased and I gradually got involved in investing, but I didn't tell anyone about this investment at first.
The "experience" of France shows that it is better not to tell anyone about this.

I have a close friend who wanted to know about these things from the beginning. He didn't show any interest at that time, but later he wanted to know more about it from me. Since he is my close friend, I didn't hide anything from him, I shared all my investment matters with him. Since he asked me about this matter a few months after I got involved in investing, after learning about investment, he became more interested in investing and he gradually started learning about many things from me.
Relationships with friends may deteriorate, but they'll still know you have bitcoin. Former friends may also make new friends with whom they can easily share information about you (and your bitcoin).

Although we studied together, his father's financial condition was good and he used to help his father in his business from then on.
One day he told me that he would start investing, I first tried to give him a lot of ideas about investing and also told him that investing would never guarantee him profit, but still he agreed to invest. He started investing a few months ago and till now he has been continuing his investment consistently. While chatting with him yesterday, he told me that it was because of the advice I gave him that he was able to get involved in investing and he has been able to continue investing consistently. He is now doing investing with so much fun that now his goal is much bigger and he wants to keep this investment for a long time.
Starting to invest is only half the battle, as any investment must eventually end with a profitable sale of assets. It's too early to sum things up and say your advice helped your friend. Perhaps these investments will ruin him in the future, who knows? Smiley

By the way, I completely fail to understand why you were given merit (your post is clearly overrated) here: for telling your friend about bitcoin? There are millions, if not thousands, of such users on this forum.

I also do not like giving financial advice to other, even if they are close to me. Not just because I do not want to be blamed when things go wrong, but because everyone has different circumstances, risk tolerance, and goal. Bitcoin has brought me many benefit, but that does not mean it will suit or benefit them. They are not me.

Same here, I also don't like giving financial advice but I love giving suggestions.  By laying out the pros and cons of the subject, giving them my point of view, and letting them decide for themselves.

In my opinion, investing is a personal matter, no one can make decision for us.

Yes, I agree, so we must not give unsolicited advice unless the person approaches us and asks for it.  But for me, even if they asked me for advice, I will still play it safe and just offer a suggestion, making them think and decide things for themselves.  This way, all the decisions will be on their own.

The reality is that most of us are not financial expert, and we cannot guarantee result for them. Therefore, we should avoid giving them advice, putting pressure or making decisions for them.

The only thing we should do is share the experience and knowledge we have accumulated on our investment journey. Do not interfere and let them make the final decision themselves.
