I know it's not easy to have that full confidence on game you place bet on but we should be that expecting that this doesn't often happen to the way we usually have on every bet we place on. I want to know if when you place a bet do you think all your predictions would always result to be true and not false? This topic triggered me because I usually see people who do place bet to gamble but at last they usually get their account drained and involved themselves into gambling addiction because to me it sounds too well as someone is doing a revenge gambling in order to receive what they have already lost?

Confident doesn't make a game to be successful, confident makes you (the gambler) to overestimate the probability of the game and convince you to either stake more than your bankroll or even take loans to place that bet or encourage others to bet on the game as well. The outcome of every bet we make is based on probability, the results is never known until the game is over, so if you are being overconfident of your bet, then you might just ruin your bankroll faster than you should. You can be confident in a game but never allow that to make you bet more than the amount you can not afford to lose.

It’s good for one to be optimistic about their bet , but Being confident doesn’t guarantee winning , so even if  you use a bigger amount with the hope that you so positive about  that particular game, it may still come true and it may still not , because gambling has so much uncertainty, our expectations most times don’t come as we expected it , so I think having over confidence towards betting is what lead many to addiction, and spend unnecessarily just because one want to feed his or her curiosity about the bet which is a very bad habit.

In the positive note, confidence makes us calm and optimistic towards the result of the game.  It is true that confidence does not increase our chance of winning but the action behind that confidence can increase our chance of winning by thoroughly analyzing the competing team, the different angle that can affect the result of the game.

Confidence won't make us take loans if we apply responsible gambling, but overconfidence do especially when the gambler has no discipline do.

Whenever I place a bet, I have the confidence to alow me put my money on the game but not enough confidence to bet with I cannot afford to lose. I have worked on myself well enough never to have confidence on a game of chance. It is good for a gambler to be confident; this is way better than self doubt. However, confidence does not guarantee that everything will go well for you. While you are very confident about your bet and hoping that it turns out to be a win, you shouldn't also ignore the fact that there is still some possibility of losing the bet you put in so much effort in. The thing I see for gamblers who place their bets is confidence because without it, one can't be sure to time cashout or make another bet to counter the one that they already placed.

Gamblers are always confident that their games will play according to their predictions before placing that particular bet. I haven’t seen a gambler that believes that his bet won’t play and still go ahead to place the bet. Even when betting on underdogs, a gambler will always have this believe that the bet will play as predicted. It is that believe in that game that will make a gambler place money on that game. If the doesn’t believe that the game will play as predicted, he won’t bother placing a cent on that game.

I always believe in the bets I make regardless of the results that will be obtained, trust in the bets we place will make us not become indecisive afterwards so I am always confident in the bets I will make even though the results may sometimes not match the expectations that I want to achieve afterwards.
But is this a failure? For me, it is not always a failure even though we lose it indicates that we do have limits that we cannot penetrate where luck is sometimes difficult to guess besides that, our analysis may be lacking in this case so that this can be a lesson in the future.

Any gambler who's putting confidence on a game is actually doing that at his own peril because putting confidence on a game doesn't guarantee winnings and gambling is not also something you place your confidence on as it's a game of luck and unpredictable in nature, a gambler shouldn't be gambling because he wants to recoup what he has lost or be chasing looses as that gives room to addiction and you can never recoup all the looses so long gambling is concerned.

Many people gambling today are into it for a reason which might differ from others, some are gambling for fun and entertainment while some are just gambling for profit making and those that gamble for fun has self control than one that is under duress to making sure he gambles to win and it triggers addiction and lack of self control. My win rate for all the time was between 50 and 70 percent. Sometimes i lost about 10 bets in a row. I know that i can lose any my bet. The same time i know that on a long distance with my results i will get profit. I don`t care about the result of one bet. If odds are like i need(after analyze) - i make a bet and forget about it.

I think gamblers are most affected by their inability to accept losses easily and overconfidence. In gambling, there will be both losses and wins, that is normal. But people usually bet only in the hope of winning. There is no problem with this, because everyone who bets wants their prediction to be correct and they win.

The problem starts when people cannot accept losses. Many do not want to accept losses, or even cannot accept it. They always want to keep making profits from gambling. And until there is profit, they do not want to stop betting. In my opinion, this is the biggest problem.

Because if someone could stop themselves after losing, they would not have to face major losses. Rather, it would gradually become a healthy habit and the extreme mindset that is created to get back the lost money would not have developed.
