Confidence is one thing I try not to have in any bet I place which might seem like a poor mental construct but I always keep my mindset that way so that I don't get disappointed when I end up losing. Having confidence in your bets isn't really a bad idea but a lot of bettors or gamblers need to know is that no matter how we analyze anything can still happen.

True when it comes to betting having too much confident can overwhelm you and make you forget that game is not in human calculation at all time,so it's much better for someone to calm the mind down and also know that anything can happen in match no matter how well you analyze. We are gambling and we know that it's not going to happen that all of the predictions we do are going to win, so mostly are going to be balanced IMO. But if I am confident or not with my bet? I am. I do my analysis before doing it because if I am not confident, I will not put a bet on that. Much better to gamble with confidence even if there's a little chance to win. Because you'll only blame yourself or others for that choice. So make it sure that you have full confidence for all of the bets that you're doing. Having confident when come to gambling is not actually easy unless you’re someone that’s very lucky in stuff like gambling that’s when you can develop some kind of confidence, but sometimes there are some bet one will place , there will be some confidence especially when is sport betting , but the truth is that don’t be overly confident and start taken unnecessary risk because the bigger the return bigger the rich also , confident aside whenever you experience losses best thing to do is to stop for a while.

I always increase my units whenever I see something I like, but if it fails, then I fall back to my usual betting routine. There's no need to chase those losses and you'll eventually get it back if you can consistently land winning bets.

Waiting things out is another option, if you want a way to reset your mental state, but for me i'd rather keep the ball rolling and plan for my next pick. Sometimes waiting makes me miss out on good picks so i'd prefer not to sit out unless the league i'm following is in its off-season.

There is some level of confidence sometimes, or maybe it is more of expectation than confidence when you did the work to analyze a bet and it you build expectations.

You use more emotions than all of them give you some biased decisions; you use more of the data you have in front of you. The result still can't be guaranteed; we can't get it all right all the time, so we just try our best in terms of predicting and allow the actors to perform the final scenes. Yes, there are cases where we have a strong belief about the prediction we made on a certain game, but when the result is not as i predicted. What i always do is check the area where everything went wrong before the next bet, so I won't repeat the same mistake again. This is something I learned the hard way after several losses.

Nothing makes the big change for a gambler more than the conviction that predictions work in its own way, nothing would make an impact to what would be the result because it's not under the gambler's control. The two side thoughts of winning is part of the con in the game, wherever side the player goes with, ends up with an unforeseen result. No matter how confident someone is in a bet, football and gambling can still surprise you badly. A team you trust 100% can still lose to a smaller team unexpectedly. That is why I don’t believe in staking huge amounts just because I feel too confident. Plenty people get into trouble when they start chasing losses after one bad bet. They keep trying to recover quickly and before they know it, their account is empty. sometimes the best thing after a loss is just to relax, stay away from betting for a while and clear your mind instead of doing revenge gambling.

There is another question from you, what if the bets don't match expectations, usually I will not force myself to become a revenge gambler because I know that it is not a good thing. When I place bet, I think my bet can either be true or false. That is how betting is because it is a game of luck.

The higher the matches I bet on in parlay, the lesser the amount of money that I will use to bet on it. Although I still bet the amount of money that I can afford to lose on a single match.

If I want to bet, I will analyze and choose the team that could win. I am not feels 100% sure as I know the match can change and makes my prediction goes wrong. If the match changes and not same as my prediction, I let it like that and will not chase the next match to recover my losses.

I accept the lost and thinks I can win in the next match but I am not directly place another bet since I must calculate my funds and make sure everything before I bet more. I don't take revenge of my previous lost as that can makes me difficult to analyze.

It's unlikely this is connected to revenge, but rather a desire to at least recoup losses, or, better yet, to compensate with a win that exceeds previous losses. No one likes to lose, because it proves (and demonstrates) to the gambler that they're a loser.

Interesting thoughts m8, I know you spend quite a bit of time on here. I think that it all comes down to confidence yes, but also educational guesses. I think that often these types of bets are overlooked and could play better in today's gambling options 🤔
