This topic triggered me because I usually see people who do place bet to gamble but at last they usually get their account drained and involved themselves into gambling addiction because to me it sounds too well as someone is doing a revenge gambling in order to receive what they have already lost?

I am happy to say that throughout the years I have developed the capability to convince myself that my bets will definitely fail and, therefore, I never get unpleasant surprises when I lose. It is true that this mindset makes me place impossible bets, which makes betting a kind of lottery: almost impossible to win, but in the event that one day I win, it could change my life. I'm not saying that this is the best approach, but it is the one that works best for me, and the risk of developing an addiction is greatly reduced this way, IMO.

That is the best option or decision one could have while gambling because whenever you are this too focused and having full confidence that your games are all coming out to be winning is when you start deceiving yourself became you know that gambling is also a thing of luck and even though most people often tag it to be skill based then they could be that losing on every single bet they would be making. I agree with you, the results of gambling can never be guaranteed, no matter how much research we do, in the end it all depends on luck. We never find a chance where our victory is absolutely certain, it is never possible in reality, and we need to have a proper understanding of this matter. In sports, strategy and experience can help a little, it is certainly an advantage, but of course we should not rely on it completely, then it will put us in more harm than good. The confidence is usually very high when the game is yet to begin but towards the ending of the games when you already knows what the outcome is going to be based on what is happening in the games you will focus on shifting the confidence to another time when you gamble. You’re right…. Gambling is never certain, even with proper research or strategy.. We have to agree that luck still plays a big role, and outcomes can change anytime..
That is why it is important to always have the mindset that losses can happen. The safest approach is to only use money you can afford to lose, because once emotions enters or get involve, things can go wrong very fast…

I don't always have confidence in any bet. I just bet like that because I feel maybe my prediction will happen as I predicted, and that is the reason I always gamble for fun. No matter how positive a game may be, I will never have confidence in any game.There are some people who do have confidence in some games, but I will say it is a very bad idea because what is the reason someone should have confidence in something whose chances are always 50/50? Probability still, and it's even on the bigger side of it. You don't calculate those losses in between because you don't care. That's what every regular gambler does, but that doesn't change the fact. Anyway, stay locked in with the thrill of the game and don't do too much. Gamble with only what you can afford to lose. In that case, it's safe to say that you don't bet with 100% confidence, which is what the topic of this discussion was about.

This is very true. I know things are different with betting, but if you lose, you have to face the music and accept that you lost, learn from it, and see where you went wrong. That's what gambling and sports betting are all about. Many have lost a lot of money, but it's all because things don't turn out the way we predict; they happen as they do. When we predict and fail, it's because we were missing something. The idea is to find what we were missing.

Whether or not you believe that gambling relies on luck we can now be confident that the bets we place will result in a win but more often than not the opposite happens. I’ve also had times when I wasn’t confident about a bet I placed yet I still ended up winning. This proves that whether you’re confident or not about the bets you make, luck is what ultimately determines the outcome.
