you are right, the most difficult part of crypto which till date I’m finding it very difficult is the technical aspect of bitcoin. Things like how the nodes are built , how bitcoins are mined and so on. I know there are still a lot of things to be learned about bitcoin that requires thorough technical knowledge which I will definitely find so difficult and that’s why I haven’t bothered to learn that part yet. As for the non technical part, I’m still learning everyday as I come across conversations about bitcoin, I learn new things because the cryptocurrency is a universe of its own.
The only reason you still find them hard to comprehend is simply because you haven't really found time to study them, because if you do, then you'll start catching up. I'm not saying you'll understand them in an instant, but learning is a process, it might take you some time to come around but trust once you're really serious and dedicated to knowing these things, then it'll only be a matter of time before you come around. The little knowledge I have now, I didn't have them before, but through constant learning, I started catching up. It may not really even be as complex as you think, but you'll never know, if you don't get started.

I’m still new to crypto and trying to learn little by little.

Some things are easy to understand, but other things like wallets, networks, and gas fees can still be confusing sometimes.

So I wanted to ask others here: what was the hardest thing for you to understand when you first started learning crypto, and how did you finally learned and understand it perfectly?

When I first started my journey in the cryptocurrency world, I had trouble understanding the blockchain technology and its application. People lauded it as a revolutionary transparency technology but I just couldn't understand its real-life applications and implications.

This quickly changed when a video on YouTube on TedTalk where there was a speaker who explained the blockchain technology for us dummies! I will provide the link below if anyone is interested because it definitely changed on how I viewed cryptocurrencies after watching that video.

So I wanted to ask others here: what was the hardest thing for you to understand when you first started learning crypto, and how did you finally learned and understand it perfectly?
I happen to have many friends who have been involved in crypto for a long time, so learning wasn't that complicated because my friends taught me or explained it step by step making it easy to understand. Eventually, I understood that Bitcoin and altcoins are different things.

It might have been different if I'd learned on my own it would have been complicated and even took a long time to grasp. There's a lot to learn in crypto, and it's certainly very complicated if we don't learn it sequentially. As you mentioned, there are different types of wallets, networks, gas fees and even many types of crypto. And that's not even mentioning the crypto market.

But there are also people who learn on their own but quickly grasp it, especially now that learning about crypto is no longer difficult because there are many platforms that explain crypto in detail, whether on YouTube, social media or even in discussion forums. For me, in today complicated crypto world consistently making profits is crucial, especially when it comes to controlling emotions like FOMO, greed and panic.

OP, I see you have the strong will to learn more about Bitcoin. As a newbie, it is good not to rush everything at the same time because if you do, you will definitely burn out and rush out the way you started. So I will advise you to start with the little you can assimilate so quickly and gradually grow with it, taking a step at a time to build your knowledge on Bitcoin gradually, which will help you understand the process and how it works, rather than wanting to learn everything together and in haste. I see that reputable members have already given you tips and information on how to go about it, so I will advise you to take your time to go through the information as provided for a better understanding of how it works here.

So I wanted to ask others here: what was the hardest thing for you to understand when you first started learning crypto, and how did you finally learned and understand it perfectly?

I will say one of the challenges then I was having was how to read the market movement. Being a newbie then all I could see was   candles with just two main (common ones are green and red ).

I’m sure I am not the only one that felt that way ,it is actually common among newbie to not understand how the market works ,  many we will want to know before they put their money in it , because not everyone that will like to invest their money in something they can’t reach , but now I can read the market movement no stress, but now still having issue with technical aspect but I know I will sure understand how ur works .

When I started learning about crypto,it wasn’t as difficult as most people usually think it is.Although,I was having some challenges with crypto slangs, not until a thread was created about crypto slangs and I began reading and understanding them and I became conservant with them,I could remember vividly I also made a comment.Since I had no passion for the technical aspect of crypto,I never bothered myself on that aspect.Everything was made easy for me when I was reading most crypto slangs and watching some YouTube videos concerning crypto slang,so that was the only hardest thing I couldn’t understand back then.

## talking about Bitcoin it's very important to understand the foundation.the foundation should be the first time achievement before thinking of investment.
For Bitcoin don't think first on "how to make money" that where I think many beginners go wrong so you think of how it works and how to make it work for u in your own method

I learned crypto from the beginning focusing on trading. I didn’t study much about the technology because my focus was on making extra money. The difficult problem I faced when starting was figuring out how to get the points to buy or sell. So sometimes I would enter too high or sell too low from the new highest price. Besides that, sometimes I still find it very hard when I am afraid of missing out while the market seems to be pumped that seems like FOMO. Because indeed I used to dive straight into buying and selling activities.

What is money.

That was really the most difficult part of Bitcoin for me. At first I thought money was supposed to be issued by the State, then I started reading about how money worked in the past, then I dived into the Federal Reserve and WTF happened in Washington in 1971 and in Jekyll Island in 1914. Then I read the Bitcoin standard and the Fiat standard, the top Bitcoin books ever.

Going through each FUD, and debunking it is what takes the most intellectual effort, in my opinion.

FOMO is the fastest thing that do discourages one from not focusing on crypto because people do feel that they don’t know how to do the right thing and sometimes even if they are sure about what they are doing, the fear in them will give them reasons to doubt and this is not the kind of habit or attitude one has to habor if they really want to understand and be profitable in crypto.
