It is true that single bet reduces the risks involved in betting but it would be unwise to stake way higher than what you can afford to lose because single games don't mean that It is risk free it just, there is an increased chance of winning based on the fact that the bettor staked on just a game but always remember that nothing is guaranteed.

Multiple bet is just a combination of single bets and if you get  your single bets wrong, your multiple bets might also go wrong and if the reverse is the case, playing only a single bet does not even guarrantee a win. The major advantage of a single bet is that it's either a rwk way thing, it's either a win or a loss and you're sure that you're putting your hope on something and not afraid that other things will spoil things.

Wether single or multiple bet, what's important is to gamble responsibly and ensure that you're gambling what you can afford to loose.

Hope you remember that in order to win a reasonable amount from a single pick, you'll need to stake a reasonable amount too, because most single games has very tiny odds, if you're lucky to see one with up to 1.8 odds or somewhere above that, then count yourself lucky, but most of it is usually lower than that, so you'll need to really up your stakes, which actually increases the level of pressure you'd feel, considering that even a game with such low odds are not guaranteed.

If you eventually win a single bet your mind will think about having placed the money on more than one game, this is what I have experienced before because the first thing that gamblers will complain about is making less money with single game.

They don't like betting on one game, and also this doesn't mean that you will win, there are many people betting on a game and still losing, it's just that this is way safer than many games at once.

Gamblers want to get rich obviously, they will mostly never be satisfied taking risk on one game, many of them want to be successful as a gambler that's why they need to take higher risks.

I totally agree with that. If you want to keep things simple and really aim to see your improvement long term, single bets are the better way to go.

Not mixing it with parlays or anything with higher odds that sometimes makes us feel too ambitious. This is what I really like and relate to from your post, “Less Emotional Pressure.” Because sometimes I also become stupid in gambling. I become too emotional, even though many times I already convinced myself to just take it easy.

Single bet is the key, but sometimes I lose control. I try to be greedy, but in reality I am just being stupid.

You know most people use little amount to gamble and that's safe, but they will always want to increase their potential profits by multiple folds to get free money  and to do this you will have to add more games

I totally agree with you because I have tried both strategies of multiple bets and single bets and have seen first hand how efficiently productive single bets are as compared to multiple bets or parlays.
The best way to enjoy single bets though might involve a bigger bankroll funding as compared to multiple bets where you can use small amounts to try get a big win and because I don't think a gambler would want to just make a single bet for just one game when there are more likely options to also pick in that single game and and the probability to make good profit from it combined together is higher.

I think also that single bets have the opportunity to pick more options on outcomes for just that one game and it gives a better odd  too if it clicks.

Betting on single game might be helpful to win a bet, but is not a guarantee to win every single bet you place. I have seen people who play single bet, and they loose bets sometimes. Another thing you should consider if you want to go on a single bet is your financial strength, because to win a reasonable amount of money with a single bet, you have have to increase stake, and if you have low financial strength, and you increase your bet, and the bet eventually disappoint, it will be so painful on the bettor if winning did not come.

I also prefer to place single bets because I am more focused and have better control over the risk I am willing to take. If I make several bets at once, I may lose concentration in the end, which will have a bad effect on me. The main thing is that it doesn’t piss me off too much. I even noticed that single bets have a better indicator of winnings, although I don’t consider myself a professional, I’ll probably try to become one with single bets.

Before, I was a big fan of making long parlays. But after a losing streak of parlays happened to me, that's when I realized I was wasting a lot of money. So I switched back to single bets, and thankfully, I don't feel those same losses that I did back then.
The only problem with single bets is the very slow pace of making profits. But as you said, it has a lower risk and a possible consistency if done right.

Expecting the amount of winnings in parlay is just a fantasy, it will make you lose even more money slowly, imagine every week you make $5 parlay bet, if you do it for a year & don't get good results, that means you lose $260. Yeah, it's likely that with single bets, you win more bets, but in the long run, one win from the parlay that has high odds would cover weeks of your wins, especially if you remember that there will be losses as well in single bets.

I am not saying that one way is better then other, as to me they both seem legit. It's just rare to win with parlays with multiple matches in them. And it's tempting to add more and more matches to them when odds keep on rising. Even though they are near impossible to win.

Low risk, yeah, I agree with that, but there is no game without risk; it's just that the more games you have in your parlay, the higher the risk of getting some predictions very wrong.

In terms of consistently winning that thing in gambling, I really don't see any strategy bringing that result to life; it's always associated with luck. Most of the time we might have more losses than wins, and there are also some seasons in which the winning is higher, but we just can't easily put it that it always wins.

I like all of the benefits you've listed but I would like to say that it doesn't guarantee long term survival when you do single bets.
What if you're the type of guy that bets single but you are betting so much in every single bet?
Compared to the parlay bettors and they are betting with lower amounts? isn't it the opposite of the benefit that you've mentioned?

Single bets are less risky, as others have said in the thread already. You have a better chance of winning if you just go with a single game.

But a parlay is better if you want to increase your chance of winning a huge amount by gambling with just a very small amount, smaller than what you'd use for a single game. Also, I think there are no options that allow you to bet on a parlay, and even after losing a couple of legs in your ticket, you still get paid a certain amount, it might even be smaller than your base bet or higher than it, depending on the result of the bet.

There’s some single bet that give a decent amount of odds if bettor will be patient to search for value bets. This is the most efficient way to bet in single bet without the need to risk more just to get a good odds on their bet.

It just needs a good analysis skills to distinguish if the option gives value or not. Most of the time bettor can find this bet option on a minor league or unpopular league which bookie has less information to make a mistake on odds placement.

As someone that have had the most success with single bets, I can confirm this to be true. However, in order to success lomg term, I feel lime the odds need to be at a minimum of 2 or at least 1.80 so that 1 win, can recover 1 loss. Because if you start taking 1.2 to  < 1.5 odd style of bets, 1 loss can wipe out 2-4 wins and it can even start trigger an emotional response that leads to even more losses if careful.
