I don’t think so , attention is not shifting from education, Infact education still remain the top desire of many , just that awareness has come on board towards crypto , many who are into crypto world still educate people, if the knowledge is not there , then understanding will be hard , so there is no point of comparing crypto to education, foundation of many is education, one need to learn how to  read, writes, studies too all these  balls down to been educated, adding the knowledge you had to learning crypto is going to make everything easy and less risk from making a big mistake.

It is only in Nigeria that people believe education is a waste of time and resources, because after graduating from a higher institution, even with a first class degree, you may still not be able to secure a job in Nigeria due to bad government. Thoss in power are more interested in embezzling money to enrich themselves and their household. They do not care about the well being of the people they are meant to represent in the government. It is only in Nigeria you will see master's degree holders riding okada. I am not saying that things are perfect in other countries, because every country has it's own ups and downs.

There is some truth in your statement, especially in Nigeria when we get a higher degree and then look for a job, we do not get it. Those in power give their people good jobs and they value their people more in order to improve their family status. However, talented people with higher degrees are not taken to good positions, moreover, we see in many cases that those who can pay a lot get the job. It is true that people with masters and higher degrees often earn their living by driving taxis and motorcycles, they choose such a path when looking for a job and do not get a job. Although the government is not worried about this bad situation in the country, rather the unemployment rate in the country is increasing, as a result of which the people of the country are looking for alternatives on online platforms. Such a bad situation is seen in many countries of the world including Nigeria, especially in almost every country there is ups and downs, more or less.

Well in as much as education is concerned, it is the first priority of every human being which without it there is no cryptocurrency. One thing you will understand is that cryptocurrency works with educational expirence, which means without being educated you can't invest in Bitcoin. And if you do, it will be another person that will be in total control since you can't read to comprehend the risk involved, your privacy will be compromised. Although people are looking for fast way to make money and because of this, they can abandoned education, but I want you to know that Bitcoin investment is not that type of business or investment that doesn't require education. Your points is solid, crypto was created and built on education, knowledge and understanding. People who make money from Bitcoin now had to understand and learn before they started earning. If they did not have basic education it would be difficult to understand wallets, security, risk in the market and how to avoid getting scammed.

People chasing money begin to say 'school na scam' but the truth is ignorance is very expensive in crypto. Out of ignorance, a wrong decision or move can lead to losses. My point is rather replacing education, crypto creates another different type of practical education. I think formal education and crypto knowledge play important roles in the world today.

Education is still  important as we put it this way. And the access is getting easier because of online learning that we have today. Basically, it is now up to you how you will educate yourself because we can get any info over the net. However, traditional way of getting the degree is still relevant. Many youths are into crypto, acquiring digital skills, freelancing and investing in online businesses as a means of survival and to grow financially. But even with these harsh realities education still and will always have value because what it offers knowledge, understanding, communication skills and critical thinking which are also needed in the field mentioned above. Education is not the issue but the economy, lack of opportunities and high rate of unemployment.

The importance of education can’t be underemphasize no matter what,most people are able to share their own opinion on this forum because of the level of education they attained.For instance,those that studied computer science in the higher institution wouldn’t find it difficult to understand the technical aspects of bitcoin and also those that studied political science would also find interest in sharing their knowledge in the politics board.So education actually plays a crucial role in everywhere we find ourselves.Despite the increased rate of individuals participating in the bitcoin community,a lot of individuals are still interested in going to school and attain a degree.

The importance of education can never be underemphasized especially on this LB or Bitcoin forum, and you are right that most people are able to express their opinions on this forum because of their level of education. To be honest, we see many Bitcoin or Blockchain developers on this forum who have acquired this qualification mainly by studying Computer Science and for those who have acquired this qualification, it will not be difficult to understand the technical aspects of BTC. When you say education, do you mean you mean basic education or university level. I’d say education will never be “out of style” in Nigeria for particularly because there is a strong academia culture in Nigeria.. If attention is shifting from one point to another, then there's a reason for that, people lose interest in something for different reason and in the aspect of formal education, most people are complaining about the high rate of unemployment which is discouraging them from wanting to further their education, so instead, they are looking for a means to make money first and become stable before thinking of furthering their education. If things were right, quite a lot of people will consider education and any other thing they want to do.

I agree with your words. In fact, if the economic situation is not good, people's thoughts and consciousness revolve around money and income. Then education often seems like a waste of time to them. Then education seems like an obstacle to eliminating unemployment. Because at the age when it is necessary to receive proper education, one has to earn income and take responsibility. We see this in many families. one thing needs to be known, that is, without education, someone may be able to earn money through their physical labor, but if someone has proper knowledge and skills in their work, then they can earn money through their intelligence and important decisions without having to work too hard physically.

If someone already have a means to earn an income that is sufficient enough to fill all their needs and also save some, then they should consider furthering their education because formal education is very necessary for everyone, aside the benefits of employment (getting a white collar job) you as a graduate will have better knowledge to do a lot of things better than how someone who is uneducated will do it. Even if you are running a business, you will perform better than someone who is uneducated.

That statement “schools na scam” is not True Actually. Let forget the fact that we have a lot of people who are doing well in the crypto and not actually making money directly from a physical job but at the same time Dey are applying some of the knowledge gotten because they are educated. If we look at it education isn’t all about schooling alone, when you’re informed about a particular stuff then you are educated about that thing. But I know OP is referring to formal education! However i don’t think there is a shift but rather education is transitioning into digital world that why you can see a lot of people in the crypto space now. Have you tried learning technical aspects of bitcoin? There is no way you could grasp that without a proper basic education background.

And there are also a lot of people doing well without the knowledge of crypto also they were privileged to get a proper job after school and they are doing very much fine. Some even got scholarships to further studies abroad and working at the same time. so how will you convince that person that education is being paid less attention to? We all know why we went to school was to learn our respective profession and get Employed after we graduate but as the job are not there you can’t be seating and doing nothing. therefore one have to look for other means of survival which bitcoin has helped a lot of people out of that situation. A lot of persons are beginning to adopt and explore Bitcoin as a means of making money, either by trading, investing or other means and some have even gone a step ahead to use  other Altcoins not just Bitcoin and in all that they have been able  to come up with, the attention has not gone away from education and cannot go away from education, to even be clear, without education there will be no cryptocurrency, the foundation of the knowledge for the innovation of cryptocurrency is built on education.
