We'll one thing I noticed is fear of losing, and again most of them are busy with business or another activity that is why most of them give there relative the money to invest.

There is only one purpose behind any kind of investment which is to make profits and that is fine but they should know what they are doing not just go blindly without any knowledge at all. But why are people like this? Instead of making research and invest in bitcoin, they did not. This will not be the last. If federal government did not do the investigation, nothing would have been known.

TBH, it isn't easy to get a mentor, especially for online mentor. I personally can't trust someone who never meets me. Even he is a top member in the forum or a popular one, he may mislead us.

I don't know what to call it, laziness? Or just stupidity. Genuine help would be very keen not having any business with your money as they sometimes go through the trauma of people calling them names. Those who wants to reap you would not hesitate.

I disagree, you can actually learn about good investment online and still get it right, all you need about investment is online, but you have to carry it diligently and focus on review on any investment you're about to enter.

It's when you read and find something hard to understand that will make you to start asking questions to understand things that is stressing you to understand. Reading anything that related to BTC and cryptocurrencies investment is very good but you need to approach the investment to invest what you can afford to lose before you can be bold to start investing plenty money on BTC investment, because the investment is different from other investment newbies will start making profit without learning the investment very well.

Buying on an exchange and holding it there for years is insane. I think that action demonstrates a complete disregard for the vast knowledge that could have protected themselves and their assets.
It wouldn't be surprising if someone we know told us about losing their assets because they didn't move them from the exchange they bought them from after a long period of time, refusing to learn. You're right, shifting responsibility and blame on someone that feel is superior in Bitcoin investment is normal for newbies, they don't want to learn but they want to invest through third party, at the end that's still very hard because they still need to be taught how it works to avoid blame game. I will never allow myself to help others invest in Bitcoin, if they loses they will blame on me.

The reason is simple – a lot of people are lethargic when it comes to critical thinking and research. That's what happens whenever anyone wants to invest and thereafter don't want to monitor their investment. Anyone who isn't calculative and put together won't be able to do all that. We all know how fast paced this industry is. It's not an easy thing keeping up with the pace here if one isn't truly committed. In fact, one of the reasons I stopped buying presales and all that was because of having to constantly be in their various telegram groups to monitor whatever that's happening with project teams. If one blinks or snoozes, one loses; especially when it has to do with migration and all that. There were some projects I lost because I didn't know when they migrated and deadlines were long passed.

Funny enough, this is how majority of the newbies came into Bitcoin and other investments. And well, for newbies, it’s really not totally wrong to enter an investment just because you heard it’s profitable or have seen someone who’s benefiting and profiting from such investments. What’s wrong is continuing to invest blindly without attempting to do your due diligence with time. Not just in investment, even in business, a lot of people make this mistake, opening a business without having any knowledge about the business, just because they heard the business is profitable and they know someone who’s experienced in it.

Go through the posts under this thread, you'll see some that are pretty harsh on newbies even when they should know better that asking questions is one the easiest ways to learn and avoid making costly mistakes. None of us started using Bitcoin as experts, it was through learning and asking questions that we got to know better.

This is one of biggest scam approach then, you see young boys create a website with investment approach, they target random people, give them all sort of talks about Bitcoin and how much they will make, make them register on the website and generate a wallet address for them to deposit. Once confirmation is done, they don't block them, they go again with another tactics to make them deposit, tell the victim that their account are frozen and need to make another deposit before it will be unfrozen and funny as it sound, people fell for this scam.

What am I saying, if you refused to learn about something, you will end up been the must useless person on the internet. This is why people get scams with all this agents that help facilitate things. There is no anywhere on the internet that you can't do things on your own. Bitcoin is even the most simplest thing that anyone can do but we still see it to be the most difficult. I do feel the banking system has made us terrible to think outside the box.

You never know what they're doing with your funds behind the scenes. They might have duplicated your seed phrase or done something else that could cause you to lose your assets.
