Bitcoin funding rate is now positive

I think one of the things they could have fuelled bitcoin buying few weeks ago is the negative funding rate, some people will also use the privilege to open buy position and earn money from the funding rate, which is low in percentage but some people have huge amount of money and still leverage it to earn more money through the funding rate.

High leverage is not good, but this is not the discussion of today. The traders also gained because the price of bitcoin increased.

The funding rate has been negatively for weeks now, but as I check the market price of bitcoin on derivative market today, I saw the funding rate has turned positive.

Could this mean a short sell period?
I can not ask the question of if the funding rate will become negative again because that is difficult to anwser.

it is a good guess.  but frankly we need to drive to and past 85

much more then we need weasel's feeling at tiny profits.

It is time for those who will invest in Bitcoin at short-term rates to take profits, but those who will invest in Bitcoin at long-term rates will never have such negative thoughts. Because no matter how high the price of Bitcoin is, they will never plan to invest, but rather will be deprived of planning to invest. However, those who will invest in Bitcoin for the sake of money should wait until the price of Bitcoin is between 87k and 90k dollars.
