As we progress through 2026, there's growing interest in moving AI infrastructure from centralized models toward decentralized inference with on-chain verification of outputs.

Two areas stand out technically:
On-chain AI verification: Projects working on proving the integrity of AI inference directly on the blockchain.
Scalability for large data workloads: Handling TB-scale data requirements for next-generation decentralized applications.

From a blockchain scaling perspective, I see "Verifiable Compute" as one of the core challenges this year, ensuring transparency and trustworthiness of AI results through the infrastructure layer.
Which L2 or L3 solutions do you think are currently handling AI-related data loads most effectively? Looking for projects with strong technical progress in this area.

Honestly I doubt there are L2 projects that even remotely fit this description. Maybe there are L1s but L2s are basically fighting for their lives while VC firms are dumping their unlocks like there's no tomorrow.

Maybe Base is gonna have something like this, but now it's mostly focused on AI trading agents.

All of L2s are scalable enough to handle this. They can process so many txs for verification purpose. So i don't think we shall feel skeptical about L2's scalability to handle it.

The fact that even L1 can process the AIagent request to mint the token smoothly. Thousands of people are doing it right now. So i'm not doubting L2's scalability to handle this.

I'm now using AI agent for token mining in L1. So far so good, but it's a bit laggy and expensive. However, L2 can solve it all.

I don't know if the integration of AI is just for publicity or because it's a hot topic, but it does nothing but add more complexity. We already see how poor the accuracy of AML is and how many analyses are inaccurate.

Therefore, integrating AI at the on-chain level will only increase complexity and won't achieve any positive results.

If those AML tools is inaccurate already those on chain Ai integration will just add noises or complexity of these matters. What I really think they should prioritize on this matter is to improve the transparency and quality of their data.

Ai will be only useful if their rules is clear and they already have clear data's. So if nothing like that has been change this Ai integration thing will just be a hype rather than helping those platform to be compliant. So they should fix the foundation first, before they try to add more techy stuffs on their system.
