⚠️ Warning About SwapSpace.co and Their Cooperation With Scam Exchange Services

I want to publicly share my experience with SwapSpace.co after more than 50 days of having my funds frozen by one of their listed partners, EasyBit.

I completed every requested verification step:

Source of Funds documents
Transaction screenshots
Video verification
Additional explanations

Despite this, my funds remain locked and both companies continue sending repetitive copy-paste responses with no real timeline, no transparency, and no resolution.

What is most concerning is that SwapSpace continues defending and promoting this provider while many users across Trustpilot, crypto forums, and scam-report communities report similar experiences involving frozen funds and endless “compliance reviews.”

At some point, a platform cannot continue hiding behind “we are only an aggregator” while knowingly cooperating with services repeatedly accused of abusive AML/KYC practices and indefinite fund holds.

If you have experienced similar issues with SwapSpace or EasyBit, share your experience publicly. Users deserve transparency before trusting services that can lock funds for months without accountability.

I usually use another aggregator like walleteum, simpleswap, etc. and they track and have good support, but swapspace didn't support me at all.

I don't have much experience with this service, but if you don't want to have a problem or go through KYC at all, then never use an exchanger that is actually just a reseller and uses third-party liquidity. There are currently several very good and reliable options.
As far as I can see, they really present themselves as an aggregator, but at the same time, they offer their exchange service (most likely as a reseller). I would say that the other offers are only an illusion that it is a reliable aggregator, and that it is primarily a reseller offer.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how good your chances are with Easybit to get your money back. I hope it's not too much of a value.

Do not use swap/aggregators that have heavy KYC terms.

From their website:

Quote
You further acknowledge that any Third-Party Provider may conduct its own AML/KYC procedures at its sole discretion. Service Provider cannot influence, control, or interfere with such procedures. You agree that Service Provider has no involvement in and shall not be held liable for any aspect of a Third-Party Provider's AML/KYC process, including their decisions, requests for information, data handling, or any consequences arising therefrom.

TLDR: If a third party says your funds are blocked, we can't do anything.

At some point, a platform cannot continue hiding behind “we are only an aggregator” while knowingly cooperating with services repeatedly accused of abusive AML/KYC practices and indefinite fund holds.
sadly, i don't think we are going to get to that point anytime soon.

swapspace is in the same group as exodus and other shitty aggregators, they partner with scummy exchanges, but as long as they get their kickbacks, they don't care.
the only way for this to stop, is for people to stop using them and look up sites before they send money to them.

That's one of the biggest mistakes: just blindly trust any aggregator or exchange monitor site. Also, if they aren't trusted and highly reputable, then you shouldn't go through them. First time here. I heard about the swap space, even heard I can't remember. It's because they aren't well-familiar on the forum or they aren't trusted here. But I can remember about Best_Change; though they might have some allegations, they try to help users, and I am one of them who got help from them.

Just because someone is listed on monitor sites doesn't mean they are trusted. Also for a legit monitor site, they should take action against them from their ends. All the allegations against An Swap won't be wrong, so it's a matter of concern. Also, we should read the terms of their KYC and others. Why should I use instant exchange or swap when I have to submit my KYC at any time? Instead, using a reputable centralised exchange is safer, though it might charge more fees.

It would be better to edit your allegation thread by following the correct scam accusation format from the stickied post.

It appears that some of their partners are known for their strict fund monitoring and extremely selective freezing practices. One Trustpilot review also recounted an experience I found odd: a partner froze rare coins with a high criminal risk, which they ultimately admitted was a technical error but the release of funds was still made difficult.

However, during the process, swapspace does not act as an intermediary responsible for this. They are truly unreliable. www.trustpilot.com/reviews/696664308a77aae7402c4e7d

Never heard those swaps, and this is one of the reasons why I only rely on those with a good reputation in the forum because they have to protect their service from their users. I assume that you did a huge amount of swap in there and when they have just received yours, there's really no return of doing it. So taking this as a loss is what it should be, I'm sorry for that loss OP. This serves as a good reminder for those who might end up seeing this service and I wonder how did you end up with them since most of us never heard of it.

You already have an open scam accusation regarding this issue. I don't see why you should open another one yet there are a lot details shared in the other already ---> EasyBit.com - Scam Alert & Lack of Response from SwapSpace

This makes it quite hard to follow up on the case from how everything started to how it's going. Most members now probably don't even know that the other thread exists.

EasyBit.com does not deserve to be listed, Trustpilot indicated that there are many fake reviews, and apparently they pay a good commission for SwapSpace.co referrals, SwapSpace will continue to list it regardless of the complaints.

John SwapSpace seems to be their representative on the forum. I don’t know if they intend on being more active here. They answers they gave in a similar topic are not very reassuring.

SwapSpace isn’t directly responsible for their partners scamming, but I do wish that aggregators had better due diligence. The amount of people who get their funds frozen on these different instant swap services makes me wary of using anything outside of a few that have built a good reputation here on Bitcointalk.
