Hard Labor/Hard work, opinion on differences?

Hard labor and hard work has different meaning but, both can determine a person’s wellbeing so quickly without differentiating any. Aside the fact hard work involves consistency meanwhile hard labor also consist of consistency yet hard labor is quite more difficult depending on the labor and what exactly is the income render while sometimes it’s not worth the stress undergo including hard work. Both can either add value to a person life or reduce financial burden for awhile afterwards the struggle continues meaning the money is not stable enough to manage for long, I still view both same way despite having different meaning.

One can do a hard job or labor and stops any time he wants even if its not finished yet, but a person that is doing hard work ignores inconsistency but focuses more on making the job well done and create a more satisfying and fulfilling job outcome. Doing hard labor is simply for job requirement, but doing hard work leads to the over all positive impact and success of a certain job.

Hard labor does not mean hard work, but it could be a hard job for those who are not used to that kind of job. Hard work is putting all your best to meet a desirable and profitable outcome, and not everyone that does hard labor shows hard work.

Yes, you can probably determine the type of job by looking at the number of calories needed, or by the amount of effective time a person can allocate to determine the typical worker.

Both are entirely different, hard labor and Hardwork are two different things, to me hard labor is someone who do hard labour for survival and this doesn't relate to wealth or success. Such person may not have any skill or may not be smart. But a hardworking person may be skillful and be smart at thesame time. Such person may be skillful enough to make wealth from it. Example of hard labor could be those that pick junks from bustop to bustop, or those sewage disposal. Metal scrap puckers, this people have zero to no knowledge in making wealth, but depends solely on those things to survive.

Hard work has never guaranteed wealth in the future, because if you look at the statistics, wealth comes primarily to those who were born into a rich family or are good at making friends with influence and connections. Yes, influence and connections are extremely important now, as they always have been. Well, those who have talent or work hard have a very small chance of success in life, because they are in strong competition. At the same time, such people themselves should be able to devote time to their hobbies, in which they work hard, finding strength among the ordinary work that provides them.

I agree with what you said, that doing hard work does not necessarily mean working heavy.
 
Actually, the difference is subtle but the meaning is not the same.
 
Hard work, in my opinion, is more about the attitude, effort and energy we put into our work, for example spending 8 hours studying to get good grades or working from morning until night with a scheme to sell and the goal is to sell all the products.

And with heavy work this is more about the type of work that involves the physicality, risk or difficulty of the work. The focus is more on the object of work, for example with the work of miners in underground pits that have great risks such as the risk of landslides that endanger lives and other examples of fishermen where they sail every day with the risk of irregular rest or sleep, weather that can endanger lives.

There is different meaning between hard labor and hard work, this is I got after doing a little searching on Google. You work at office or other job from morning until evening and not stop for a break, that is a hard work. If you use physical work, that is hard labor. You use physical activity doing your job. But both still working hard as you use both you have, physical and mental activity. But maybe I am wrong explain this so I apologize.

In a common struggling mindset this two could assume not to have any difference with each other's but in actual meaning and relative thinking on this two words you would actually see some differences from how they work. So actually this are my observation and how I see them, Hard work is just a term we usually describe the efforts we are making either on the investment we have started or the salary earning activities we are doing but in other words Hard Labour is like the extreme parts of work, were someone would have to be working in suffering under a harsh condition that without a strength someone cannot do it.

In some languages, hard work is often directed at freelancers, who essentially work using their own strength, which is why people call them hard workers. In certain contexts, this type of work is more about those that rely on physical strength, such as factory workers or other jobs that require physical strength and in my area, it's called hard work. But there are also some people who say work hard when you're young so that you'll be happier when you grow old. The next question is, is it possible for working hard when you're young, relying on the jobs I mentioned above, to achieve better financial security?

Rich people tend to refer to smart work because they no longer work using their own power/physical, but rather their money can generate income, in other words, even while they're asleep, their money is working. I think these two things are what then create a different meaning of hard work and smart work, not as mentioned hard work by utilizing existing potential as it is today.

Hard work is the ability to put in your best in a given task. Hard labour involves a task that requires physical strength to execute. Someone who engages in physical labour can be lazy or hardworking. When he puts his best into his work, it could be said that he is a hardworking worker.

Hard work can lead to success if it is channeled to the necessary tasks. Smart work is another term that has become popular. It involves applying innovation such as new techniques and technology to carry out tasks. AI and other technological tools are reducing tasks that require much physical labour.

Isn't this mere semantics? There might be slight differences in terms of usage and how you mean it, but I find it a bit trivial. Should we not celebrate the contributions of hardworking employees in the offices during Labor Day because theirs aren't labor?

Anyway, yeah, hard labor doesn't mean working hard. One isn't necessarily working hard simply because he/she is into hard labor. A construction worker may be into hard labor, but he/she could be a lazy worker. But, whatever, I guess this isn't a point worth a lot of debate.

I think there is a very big different between hard labour and hard work, hard labour has to do with physical work that drains your energy and time  which often can not lead to any skill development or any form of financial advancements. Hard work has to do with being focused In achieving goals and having passion in developing yourself.

I think there is a mistake there. You can't do hard work while being in your comfort at the same time. Sure hard labour may gives us a hard time but in exchange for it is like I said earlier, self improvement. So it is still worth it after all. There are still people that can't adapt to it though unfortunately but they should not forced their selves as it is also dangerous.
