Despite the fact that I am a sincere fan of education and universities as places where opportunities for personal development are concentrated, life has taught me to look at the correlation between education and success more prosaically, and in some places, more cynically. Yes, what you are writing is true, but the reason that rich people went to prestigious universities and send their children there often lies not in the essence of the education itself, but in the connections that are established during the period of study. These connections are often for life; they are very strong and, later on, grow from friendship and partying together into business activity and other forms of professional interaction.
Fact, they don't just send them to the best school for the education alone but also for the connection they will through their friends and others. That's a smart choice that most people don't really have any idea about it and this connection is what really make them to go far in life, as other people might think its power or influence. Smartness is more better than hardwork, as it keeps and help them for both the kids and themselves. So, people saying that education is useless, doesn't carefully check the good side of it and this has make some people to lose important things or relationships that they may have if they are in school, as it have affects their mindset through the poor mentality they have towards the idea of school.

Hard labour doesn’t mean you’ll not get wealthy either, it is just the nature of your work that makes it be called hard labour. Some works are like that, it just have to be hard labour to get the work done as wanted.

Hardwork to me will mean not being lazy about your work and putting in the best effort you can to see success at the end of the day. This also does not directly relate to being wealthy. You can be doing an hard labour work and be called hardworking.
Hard labour requires a lot of physical effort, but it does not determine whether someone becomes wealthy or not. Similarly, someone who has a desktop can work hard by solving complex problems or managing their job. Hard work is basically about the value that to create with the skill that you develop and the result that you get from that. I also don't agree that wealth is not related to hard work; hard work alone does not guarantee financial success.

Wealth is built by the combination of both hard work and hard labor; it combines knowledge and choices. Most of successful investors and entrepreneurs spend years of their lives in consistent effort before getting the reward; they combine hard work, skills, and opportunities to make their business successful.

Those people who say that education is useless either simply do not have one at all, or do not know how to use it. Education is not a set of hard skills that you list in your resume to guarantee you a job one hundred percent. It is a way of thinking that, with the right direction, can provide you with the ability to develop both the hard and soft skills you need. And in different fields, not only limited to what is written in the specialty line of your diploma.

I think the difference is between hard work and smart work. The later does not come into much play unless the person has become smart most of the time from past experience. Most people will be grinding only at the start eventually understand how to manage work and divide it in a manner that the person has to put in the minimum effort.

Hard labor is a different context, I feel. It refers to physical labour and not something that you commonly seen in the average joe's job profile but a lower down strata.

I feel everyone should try to get more work done smartly and not by grinding. Sit back think once before you start.

I think for one to be given hard labour it appears that such a person is being punished for one offense or the other, because the least I know of the difference is hard labour is never to be compared to hard work because most at times while given the task to do a hard labour it's not of the person willing it's mostly a mandatory work to do, for instance when one is find guilty at a law court and when it's time for punishment you can only hear the judge say that so called person is being sentence to so so years with hard labour, while hard work is something one can task him/her self to do in order to achieve a particular goal.

Most times we underestimate how stressful some remote jobs and other jobs that require more of the usage of your intellectual property throughout it execution can be. that you are not exerting any form of physical energy does not mean that you are not stressing your self out. as a matter of fact, the main work is not just in the exertion of physical energy, rather, it is in the brainstorming and thinking through critical problems all in a bit to proffer solution that those working physically have to work on.

there are certain result you can not get without actually working hard be it that you are working on a soft or hard project. to even get the kind of result that actually stands out and separate you from others, you need to work really hard or else, your result will not be different from those of an average person. the extra thing that makes you stand out goes with working really hard even while you are working smartly.

I think that these two words can be used interchangeable. There is actually a little line that tries to distinguish them, so many people just use the two words without giving much attention to it. Looking at the difference between hard Labor and Hard work, hard Labor is the process where by an individual is working using his strength and energy especially in jobs that requires physical strength and energy. Hard labor involves you exhausting yourself with work which often takes your time, someone may be said to be doing hard Labor when he or she is seen digging, clearing a portion of Land etc.

While hard work is more of a mental and psychological state, where an individual channels in his efforts and strength towards a given task or project with the bid to completing it. It should be noted that hardwork involves the process of achieving such goals which means that, the processes taken by an individual in seeing that a given task is completed . This involves you organizing, preparing and even taking lessons if possible just to make sure that a set out goal come to realization at the end of the day.

You explained it well, one drains some people because they are being forced to work and it can impact anything in their lives positively because there is no freedom in it, while the other build and bring out the best in them, which can be useful and makes them to be successful despite there might be times when they will feel tired or bored, but consistency will certainly keep them going as they are being driven by a purpose that will give one the comfort and the freedom they want in their lives.

So, people saying that education is useless, doesn't carefully check the good side of it and this has make some people to lose important things or relationships that they may have if they are in school, as it have affects their mindset through the poor mentality they have towards the idea of school.

A lot of people who think that education is useless are those individuals who only go to school mainly because of getting a white collar job, honestly I was not among the people that said education is useless, but I found myself in the position of getting a job after my education, but one thing I was very happy about is when I realized that it is not guarantee to get white collar job after you graduate, that is when I stand up and said to myself you are a man and you must have responsibilities.

Education is very important in our life, because honestly ever since I finished my school, I have been seen a lot of advantage of it, which I'm encouraging so many people to ignore getting white Collar job and focus on their education. Being educated is beyond getting a white collar job.

I wonder why someone will say that education is useless in this digital time when education is very important because without education how can someone be able to step up with modern technologies. No matter how successful that someone is, if they do not have a formal education something is still missing in them because the society respects learned people. If one is not educated, he will still feel inferiority complex when he is around people who are educated. Education unlocks the integral part of a person so it is necessary.

Smart work will always win over hard work because everything in life has an easier way of it so it takes technical know-how for you to apply the right skill in order to get a work done. And for one to work smart it will need intelligence and for someone to be intelligent, it will need education.

Hard labour is more or less a punishment give to someone for an offense committed or not favourable to endure for sometime and more difficult experience always against ones wish and desires.
Hard work is a stressed full work and makes one exhausted during and after the close of work, people do hard work to survive life's challenges a as a survival tactics at least something is coming out. People In this category are like mensing, house help workers, and so many things that makes one feel bad because of the stress of the nature of work.

Hard work is not always physical strength work but hard labour is the physical streghth aspect of, hard work. Not sure if there is much difference in the both but I know for sure that a galley is okay because you will think that

Hard labour is not only limited to punishment given to someone but also when much effort is given to achieve a specific goal because of lack of capital to meet up to the desired demand at that specific point in time. Many entrepreneurs lacks the capital to meet up to there dreams and the only way out is to give all they have which is there strength to archive it.
As for hard work, a hard working man may not invest much strength and energy but rather introduce some strategic methods just to archive the same goal at the stipulated or expected time.
For example a farm that lacks resources may use his strength in clearing the bushes while a hard working farmer may introduce the use of machines and other methods to do same in a very smart way without much stress.

Those who believe education is useless are often people who have failed to find employment, increase their income, or accumulate wealth. Instead of admitting failure, they blame the education system, claiming its useless because it doesn't help them achieve what they want.

Ironically, they use the very knowledge and skill gained from education to argue that education is useless.  Cheesy

By the way, I think education and having a degree are two completely different thing.

Most likely that those people who are criticizing the education system believes that it is no longer reliable with today's generation. Common thing is that the school standardized the implementation of providing more paper tests than improving their practical skills. Few examples they should focus more are financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and improving digital skills. Sometimes, the current education system results to producing graduates with a degree but they will surely struggle to find a decent work because it is hard for them to adapt in the current develop industries. One more reason I can see is that the cost of education nowadays. People spend a lot of years to earn their degree, but even after getting one, they are still struggling to find a job that can match their qualifications.

Actually, those who mock education, saying it's useless or it doesn't guarantee your success in life are the ones who becomes successful in life even without completing their education. Those who started hustling in life at an early age.

Though I get them that their hard work made them where they are right now, some people shouldn't undermine education. Proper education is still essential in order to climb up. It may not teach you everything you need in life, there are knowledge or learnings you need to learn and adopt in life.

Hardwork to me will mean not being lazy about your work and putting in the best effort you can to see success at the end of the day. This also does not directly relate to being wealthy. You can be doing an hard labour work and be called hardworking.

The truth is; if a job must break your back to get done, the system is designed to pay you peanuts. The moment your body can’t do it anymore, your income stops too that’s not wealth, that’s survival with extra steps. You can be the hardest worker in the market opening shop 6am closing by 11pm and still be broke. Hard labour builds muscles, smart works builds assessments. You can be hardworking and still be poor but it’s almost impossible to be wealthy and still be doing hard labour yourself. Wealth comes when your work no longer depends on how tired you are. Example: dangote was hardworking when his refinery runs, they call him smart . Because society knows if you’re truly getting wealthy, you’ll stop doing the hard labour yourself.

By the way, I think education and having a degree are two completely different thing.

I do not agree in the area i bolded. On the contrary, it is mostly those who became wealthy and made it without attaining a formal education that always see education as useless. For example, there are many content creators on social media who are not educated but they have made a lot of money by making skits and they have been able to own many investments from the money they made through social media.

There is a streamer from my country who is very influential, he doesn't have a formal education but he has mocked graduates by employing those who have higher degrees to be his camera man and even cleaners and the worst part was that he specifically employed people who has masters degree and publicly came online to say that education is useless just because he made wealth without education and still employed people who are educated.

If a graduate feels that the education he achieved is useless simply because he was not able to find a job after graduation then he must be sick in the head because being educated do not mean that you will automatically get a job and become wealthy after getting a degree. After all, many people that became wealthy today didn't achieve it because they were employed but they created self-employed jobs and added some skills to the education they acquired.

Yes, they are not the same thing.

A hardworking person is someone that always do his work and don't like being lazy. But if you only work hard without using your brain, you may still not become rich. Intelligence helps someone to know the right thing to do and make better decisions. That is why hard work and intelligence should go together.

If your body is the tool, it is hard labour. When your body is the operator, it is hard work. This is what the value of your economy is based on. The whole story of industrialization was actually one of "labor" being made substitutable. To dig a trench, a machine digs it faster. You are carrying bricks, a crane will be cheaper. Once the production of physical goods became mechanized, the economic worth of labor began to differ from the amount of effort required. A person taking his/her body to a quarry yields less market value than a person takes the spreadsheets to air conditioning for rearrangements.

Hard work, the way you define it is really what the modern economy selectively rewards. But that gives rise to a hierarchy which rarely is expressed verbally: thinking about work counts more than doing work. Accept that, and you have unwittingly hired a logistics planner for the same amount as he is being paid to load the trucks.

Does the separation of labour and work exist naturally? Or did we build it purposely to support pay inequities? Ancient societies did not separate the two. A farmer planned AND executed. A blacksmith designed, AND hammered.

Yes, the words cannot be switched around. Though the reasoning behind their non-interchangeability is less linguistic and more political.
