Appeals sure to follow but I do not think this rogue group will gain any future traction.   The main reason for this is the rights that Canada gives it's original land owners (indigenous people).    Over years of watching US TV I have rolled my eyes an uncountable number of times when a European immigrant demands an African immigrant go back where they came from.    At one time Europe was more powerful cause they had the big guns but now the world is ruled by law.

European immigrants (I come from Ukraine/Poland) still feel they have squatter rights, but we only live on their land for mutual benefit.   If we try to take away their Federal protections, they will fight as they have before.

A petition, especially if it is stated within that it IS a petition, is simply a request. It is simply requesting somebody for permission. A judge can do whatever he wants with it.

Look up the basic laws and especially the way the Constitution is written. Find the TEETH in the law. If the laws and Constitution allow, then make the so-called petition to be a REQUIREMENT, but maybe only a NOTICE. If it is allowed legally, but the courts will not accept it, then pull the judges' Oaths of Office and start suing the judges for not obeying their Oaths.

Sue them as people, for big bux... not as judges... because they are not judges if they are acting illegally. If there were enough separation people to file a proper petition, there must be enough people to research the law properly. In other words, if you are right, simply do it.

On the other side, if the laws and Constitution absolutely do not allow separation, obey the law.

.......

As it is only a company policy and made by persons, it can be changed.
A law is something the creator makes and is set in stone, no-one, certainly not a corrupt politician can change it.

Alberta seems to be on the right track.

Except if the Canadian government or Alberta Government Can prove one of these:
1. Top legal ownership of the land;
2. Legal control of movement on the land;
3. Ownership of the people, themselves.

There may be more.

Canadian laws are more just than many gods.  Example: We would never own people.  Smiley

We worked out ownership years ago legally.  Neither party can come to the table saying there were extorted, threatened or didn't understand what they agreed to.  It's not a community discussion - it's what was agreed on by both parties.   Canada has just approved another pipeline to the west coast (China likes our oil and the Unites States has been ripping Canada off for decades on the price) so now it goes to court.

The indigenous people still own the land - the government is arguing it is a critical federal need, and they just need to work out the compensation.  Imagine if the USGS found a vein of rare minerals under a private pasture.  Would the owner be forced to lease/sell or could one person hold up the entire defense department?

Alberta/Canada are not looking to break laws like Trump.   We do things legally in the proper order and in the proper courts.  Criminal or civil as required.
