Yea, some people measure action as profitability. When then say locked in, it doesn't mean you are actively doing something. You are just making the best decisions.

A boring but profitable strategy is much preferable to a strategy that's not working and active. You can't be too excited when loses gets to it's peak. Only profits gets you turned up to some point.

For me if someone is actually looking for something exciting to do I will actually advise such person to actually prioritize trading instead of forced investment, because it’s in trading that you don’t get boring by just buying through DCA for a certain period of time without actually doing any analysis or waiting for dip.

DCA is a flexible method, you can buy whenever and at whatever price, as long as you have the funds available, that’s the best time to buy. You don’t need to panic over Bitcoin’s price fluctuations, because your focus remains on the long term. I never said that the entire discretionary income should be DCA in Bitcoin. It will depend on how aggressive a person is according to their cashflow and responsibilities. And at the beginning of the investment, discretionary income can be divided according to the benefits and invested, as you mentioned.

But when the back up fund is created, then the investment amount can be increased by increasing the DCA with that part. Over time, the DCA amount can be adjusted depending on the cashflow and responsibility.

It might be boring to some people but not necessarily to everyone. What I think is that when the price of an asset is rising, the natural inclination is to join the bandwagon and buy. This happens with Bitcoin as well but when the price is falling, you'd have a lot of people closing positions even though it is the best time to buy from the viewpoint of investing since you're more likely to be in profit by buying when the price falls than when it rises. In essence, DCA removes the sentiments and ensure that whether the market is bullish or bearish that the investor is accumulating BTC. It is a good strategy for Bitcoin but not necessarily for every asset out there since we all know that Bitcoin investment is profitable in the long-term.

Yep bro there is no doubt that it is the best strategy out there for any investor not just for the average investor. Because if people can't even do DCA with discipline then bro I don't know why they are here and what they want. It is not like they could become rich with their $1k investment in BTC and sit tight on it for a year and expect BTC to hit 100x in a year haha.

People need to know what they are doing they now have to stop comparing the upcoming movement with the previous returns because there is no way Bitcoin could now give you 1700x returns like it gave to the people who bought exactly a decade ago. Now they have to wait longer and the reward would be much lower than the older ones.
