For me, it's because it's somewhat off topic. The attraction of the forum is it being heavily crypto focused, so crypto related services want to advertise to that audience. xxx

It might be a combination of several factors including the two that are mentioned. In addition, other platforms might find the discussions in the Politics & Society board to be of least relevance to the kind of product they're promoting. xxx

I currently have two possible explanations in mind but I will like to hear from campaign managers and experienced forum members if these assumptions are correct or if there are other reasons behind it.

1. Is it because the board is considered a spam zone?
This is the correct answer.
The Politics & Society board is an excellent platform for spam, that is, every topic allows you to write in it, without saying anything meaningful. An ideal place for those who want to fulfill the signature quota.
Several members really contribute to the discussion there, but I believe that if all posts from there were paid, that board would be a spam fest.
The bolded part is very correct. If every manager pay posts there, that board will be a spam fest. This is because you don't need any special knowledge or skill to post there. Any body can engage in every thread there because they are topics of general knowledge.

Politics & Society has some very good posters, but it is also a section that people associate with lunatics like jvanname, BADecker, and franky1. For whatever reason, it attracts some of the most mentally imbalanced people you will find. xxx

O no! is this not much for them?

Have you ever looked at what a Gambling board, Economic or Bitcoin discussion looks like? The only difference is that the P&S board is not about cryptocurrencies, so it is not of interest to many, but in terms of quality it is not far behind the boards already listed.
Perhaps it would be best if P&S were in the same category as WO or Serious discussion, which means that the signatures are not displayed there.

Perhaps this is the best solution. Some members like to write in the P&S section but refrain because of the campaign they are promoting, so this would be an acceptable solution for those who wish to participate in the P&S section without the signature appearing or the post being counted in the campaign.

Another problem is that gambling campaigns require a minimum weekly quota in the gambling section, which makes this section crowded with duplicate or poor-quality topics, although some gambling campaigns do not require this, and I support this policy because it will make members write in the sections they like and will reduce spam.

Well, that board is still a mandatory requirement for some gambling campaigns, but I can't imagine what it would be like if signatures weren't displayed there. Hahaa.
I've also been active on several technology-related forums, even specifically those focused on mobile phone support, and the socio-political board is always there, even though it's in the "other" subforum. I think it's a welcome escape from the monotonous, boring discussions, so it still has its own appeal, even as a guest. This forum should be a comfortable place to discuss anything related to the narrow aspects of life.

Yes, of course, this is the idea I want to convey. It is best for each member to write in the sections that he likes, feels comfortable in, and is proficient in. Then he will be comfortable and write high-quality posts because he is writing in the sections that he knows.

Regarding gambling, I agree with you that the promotion of gambling campaigns should be in the gambling section, but there are members who like to gamble and naturally write in the section, and the mandatory weekly quota can also be reduced in order to decrease spam.
