I think bitcoin is already in the moon as the poet OP said in his words. No cryptocurrency price has come close to that of Bitcoin since inception, Bitcoin is thousand miles away from them that they can’t even catch up with it as it stands now. So to me, we can say bitcoin is in the moon now.

The current price which in reality has pushed the price to fall off from its ATH, is far much more higher than any other price of any altcoin one can think of, so bitcoin is in the moon and should be much appraised for how far it has come despite all the obstacles it has to pass through before reaching this stage.

Come on Op what's your excitement that's triggering this news because I don't find any market signal that's soaring bitcoin prices to the moon according to your information. And besides market conditions is currently looking bearish.
Bitcoin on it own potentials is valued beyond comparison with any AltCoins be it in the evaluations of their global adoptions, market capitalizations and their potentials purposed as store of values.
And as the Topmost valuable crypto currency it has also played good store of global assets to be among first 10 of top global assets despites regulation barriers.
I can only say at this time that bitcoin is resilience.

We just look at different price graphs - you look at the yearly graph, I look the 16+ year graph.

The message is that one wonderful journey is successfully finished - one satoshi is grown to one Bitcoin.
The next journeys are ahead - but this is not the topic of this thread.

That "MOON" for me is a bit subjective because it depends on how you will look it.

Maybe if you will compare it's price in maybe around 2017 to where it is now then we can say that it's already on the "MOON" because it spiked up in price so much already. Now if we will compare it's peak price last year which is around $126,000 to it's current price which is around $76,700 then it's nowhere near the "MOON" that the OP is telling.
As for OP, I don't know what I feel TBH because I don't see Bitcoin on the moon right now. Maybe I'm just too futuristic that I will only see Bitcoin on the moon if it reaches $500,000 or $300,000 but right now, it's nowhere near. If you will be looking at the long-term historical price of Bitcoin though then I agree with you that it's already on the moon - Ohhh wait not only moon, but Bitcoin's on the... on the... on the Pluto already.

I don't know which altcoin you entered at a zero price. But some we can indeed see like that, but if you look at the market, some altcoins still have a price.

Not yet for now, we're in a bear and that mooning will take years again for us to see.

I think that if someone invest when BTC is still tiny, then that still allows them to see higher numbers in their wallet or portfolio. Then that makes them to scream that BTC is on the moon. As for now, if the price didn't slipped, many thinks that the bull is starting to form already. Maybe that gave others an idea that we are going to moon again. But since it is seems the bear is destined for BTC, then you are right that it can still run for a couple more years.

Anything that's more than or higher than that price is a sign that it's doing pretty well. But to see that it's not yet back there, that moon won't happen yet.

There were many factors in fact, to tell that BTC is doing well. One factor is the adoption. Although that may still impact the price positively. Sometimes it is not only instant. That is another reason that we should not feel demotivated, or say we will just invest later on, because if it comes, it can also come quickly.

Bitcoin already hit to the moon when creating new ATH last year until reach $126k but right now get little dump, for right now I can't say bitcoin on the moon after large dropping from the ATH price but optimistic one day later hit to the moon again indeed can't predictable take few months or one year later.
During at bearish market moment our purpose right now accumulate how much as possibility hold it waiting the moment bitcoin to the moon coming, many people have buy back when bitcoin dump significant and I won't loss great moment keep accumulate after bitcoin drop more 30% regarding the last ATH price, what do you now keep waiting bitcoin to the moon for investing or start right now when many people still panic seeing bitcoin current price.

Altcoins to me is the last thing I will add to my portfolio because they are even more riskier than bitcoin, its safe and easily to recover back than shitcoin altcoin you would be expecting to hit on some few percentage before they may do the needful. I have little experience from few years back when I saw my altcoin rising higher and instead of me to sell ans wait when the drops to buy back but I kept waiting hoping that price would changed. All my altcoin turned to zero nothing to write about the coins that was how I give up about altcoins.

While its not at the ATH price right now, I do agree with OP that it's at a good level at least marketcap wise. Yes, it s lower right now than the all time high, that is sad, and I hope we see it go back above it soon enough. But that doesn't change the fact that we are testing trillion dollar market cap once again and that alone is a huge deal and we should be happy about it.

Marketcap is still a big criteria for many veteran investors unlike what modern investors do with technical and fundamentals. I mean, this one trillion dollar marketcap may trigger some big investors to decide about getting into bitcoin, hope you could all assume whom I am referring .

I like your bullish sentiment for Bitcoin, but it seems that you are speaking the opposite of our current conditions with Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin have dropped significantly recently, but one thing is for sure that Bitcoin will definitely recover and vea another ll time high price again, this is very important and as a matter of step ahead with Bitcoin holding or accumulating this is the best time to acquire more sats since the price is almost in a bear discounted level right now unlike in previous market era when Bitcoin price was almost at ATH.

Just because gold and stock prices are doing well today doesn't mean Bitcoin has lost its value. For those who are still in the savings stage, this may be the right time to patiently save regularly. Therefore, it is more important to have long-term faith and patience, and save regularly with the money left over, excluding family, personal, and emergency fund expenses, in a DCA manner, rather than being disappointed in the short term. I don't see Bitcoin just in terms of price, but as a strong of the future.

Not just that, but we have the power in our own hands. No central authority, be our own bank, that is the true nature of Bitcoin to us mere mortals. Although it has evolved already as the market has flooded with big whales and institutions, but at least for me the retail investors are the most important market mover.

As for going to the moon, of course, in it's every bull run, we have experience it already. Prices going up, making people a lot of money. And so that cycle will continue every 4 years and the more we mature, the better for us long term as we learned when to start DCA'ing ang then selling at the right time.

I think bitcoin is well priced despite being in a bearish market based on the current situation. Most investors like us will not be able to buy a large amount of Bitcoins. Alternatively it may be better to buy some altcoins. Because we have been waiting for altcoin season for almost two years. Let's see in which direction the situation progresses. If someone buys bitcoin with a small amount of money, then he needs to plan for a long time. Otherwise, a slight fall in the market due to global issues may cause upset. However, one should always take a decision with proper observation before investing.
