I actually hope to have only a little time to gamble. Gambling is not my main need; I will only do it when there is something interesting for me to place a bet on. More time may seem fun to those who hope for it. But you certainly know the risks when you are very focused on gambling for a long time. You might feel extreme stress when your bet loses.

If I did what you said, I would have blown out all the money I had and would still need to work. For me, time is not the reason I don't analyse bets very well, so more time won't solve my problem; in fact, I think it would create more problems for me. I overthink games, and the more time I have, the more I overthink the game and then end up picking the wrong option. Sports etting is a game played by humans and it is impossible to correctly analyse how those humans will play at all time, knowing fully well that there are a lot of variables involved.

I usually bet on teams I know, so I don't spend too much time analysing. Sometimes I might look at the team news to see who is injured or fit, then I look at how both teams play recently, and I check their h2h.
Since I already know the teams and their strength, it doesn't take me too much time. I try to use my gut too. After analysing a game, if my gut tells me something different, I go with it, or I don't bet on the game at all. Have more time, as long as sports betting is concerned will only create more problem for me.

You should tell us, or haven't you tried doing it already? I've never seen any gambler who came out with a flying colour after quitting their jobs to be a full time gambler, they always end up with stories that touches.

Gambling is the last thing you want to turn into a source of your income and living, it will destroy you faster than those who are trading for a living, it's obvious that if it works you won't be here asking this question.

Coming from a higher rank member too, I am disappointed already, don't bring such hope onto the life of people on here, it never ends well, you can't give all your time doing nothing but gambling, and expect a good result in the end.

I’m generally against treating gambling as a main job. Yes, it is possible to make money from it, I’ve seen and known people who were successful at it. But as I’ve said many times before, people with such brilliant minds, who are able to analyze, predict, and calculate probabilities, could probably find much better ways to earn money. Gambling should remain entertainment or something additional. Otherwise, the stress and constant that come with betting, especially when too many hopes are placed on it, can be very harmful to a person’s mental and physical health. I don’t think that’s a good long-term choice.

My guys who had treated gambling as a reliable source of income all regretted it and felt stupid of themselves after much they have gone a long way to calculate their loss and wins which their potential profits were way very small to be compared to the capital lost.

Even me that does not treat gambling as a source of incomes could still have records to regret about because I have always loose in the long run, only that I bets with certain amounts that I can afford to loose with the aim of playing for fun not profit chasing.

That's assuming and speculation; there's no guarantee in gambling, it's a game of uncertainty. If they can make gambling a cash cow by just having more time and money, then many people would have done that, and we can categorize gambling as another way to make money, but unfortunately, that's not the case.
Gamblers are still struggling to find the winning formula in gambling, whether it's a luck-based or a sports betting.

This is a scary thought. Imagine you had all the time in the world and you chose to do gambling full time haha. Now if we're taking poker, im in! That would actually be a dream to just play poker professionally too bad rifht now without the practice i am not so good hahaha

I have had a lot of time for betting, right then, I just finished from senior secondary school and I didn't seek admission immediately into high institution, so I had quite a lot of time then and I put a lot of effort in sports betting but didn't see any advantage to the whole time I dedicated into betting. It's literally not possible for betting to be that consistent in terms of profitability. That's why it's not adviced to treat anything gambling as a means of income. The chances of ever sustaining you is very low. Even if I have the kind of capital that you are itemizing, I won't be so naive to put them into something as risky as gambling. I would rather use them for bitcoin investment or any other long term investment like real estate. No matter how big or small capital is, don't ever think of multiplying it through gambling as the chances is very low. You will only end up in losses that you are going to regret for a very long time.  I gambling anytime Im free, I dont place a particular time for my gambling activities..

If given the choice, I would choose to find some truly free time. I'm not one to analyze games for long periods of time. For me, the longer we pay attention to our analysis, the more possibilities there are, which will make us hesitate with our first choice. Once I've made a choice, I'll execute it. If an experienced gambler has enough capital or passive income to cover daily expenses without worry about going to work and earning money, there's a high chance that the gambler could treat betting as a full time job. However, doing a single thing in todays economic seems not to be enough to thrive, so it's better to consider adding another thing that will also serve as a job.

After I have successfully overcome the issue of over gambling i dont much analysis, and I don't chase the game to bet on. What I do is wait for a perfect game with a good chance, and based on my knowledge, once I see it, I go for it. That's how I gamble now.

Having enough capital for gambling is actually the dream of all gamblers out there. And the more capital a gambler has equal to the more chance he or she will intend to try his luck on different Sport betting games, of which it's very okay that he might win some games and likewise loses some too. So if there happens to be a situation whereby I have enough money to cover all my daily expenses to the point that I do not need to go to work anymore. I will definitely increase my betting amount and the time spent on gambling casino games and analyzing Sport games like Football which is actually my favorite. We all know gambling is not something we have total control over and it can be a bit addictive especially during cases of consistent losses. We should not think about earning through gambling, it should be taken for entertainment, just a little mental entertainment. It is not for income, here the possibility of loss is high, so it cannot be a source of income in any way. Gambling may be for people's entertainment, joy, excitement, or time-sucking, but when it starts being considered as a regular source of income, then it starts going towards extreme losses, it can definitely lead you to very big losses.
