Some people don't have money to gamble, the only thing they know is feeling motivated from there friends. If they see a gambler make money from gambling, they become excited about the result and want to try. I agree with this you said but in reality it is almost impossible for some people to do that I mean walk away whenever they are on a losing streak because it is that period the hunger to gamble will arouse or increase and sometimes if not controlled it can lead to regret and sad outcome or sad end. We need a lot of things in order to gamble freely and one thing is that one should not take gambling as  a means of getting rich because that is what most gamblers do and that mindset is not good.
