Lately I’ve been experimenting with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for crypto-related workflows and Bitcoin integrations.

One interesting use case is enabling AI agents to interact with travel bookings.

The idea is that agents can actually perform actions instead of only generating text.

For example:

- searching flights/hotels
- paying with crypto
- handling checkout flows
- interacting with merchant/payment systems

We built an example implementation around crypto travel bookings at https://trip1.com/agents

Curious whether other Bitcoin developers here are experimenting with MCP, agent tooling, or AI-assisted wallet/payment infrastructure?

What about developing an MCP with an API interface for an exchange? That seems like something an exchange should develop, so that people could use AI to do or set up trades on their exchange.

You need to hook it up to unfettered access to the API for that. AI agents make a lot of requests, so running it as a regular api token with rate limits would not be efficient.

So it's more like something you can build, but hosting is a different story.
