A few years ago, I started betting because of the World Cup
At the time, I didn’t even know what BTC was, and if my memory serves me correctly, it was during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa

And even today, I still enjoy betting more and even set aside more money just for these competitions

Do you guys also place more bets during the World Cup, for example?
Do you set aside a separate bankroll for this competition?

I don't bet much on nations cup and major competitions because I have the impression that there is rarely enough data to make quality bets from those tournaments. Secondly, even if you want to bet on the favorite team to win, the odd will be very small and playing handicap on that match or double chance will still give very small odd. Finally, totals are also very difficult to predict for national team matches which makes predicting them not too easy. But I will still try a few accumulators when the competition starts just for the fun of it and to make me enjoy the tournament.

Just because it is the World Cup, I don't see myself changing the way I gamble. I will still maintain the way I gamble, betting on games my instincts want me to bet on. If I win or lose, that's my luck for the day. I will bet again for the next day with a little money that won't cost me much. I will be doing that till the World Cup games are over

I don't have a league or tournament were I keep more money than others but however it was the same way I gamble in premier League and others I also gamble in the world Cup, although my gambling in this season's leagues is not too much so actually I may be gambling a lot more on this world Cup but except I just wanted this year to be difference in keeping all the money that would be enough for me through out the tournament otherwise I would just be doing the budgeting in weekly, so that each week I will no the limit. Some world cup brought luck to most people as I have seen and that's why some gamblers take it serious.

World Cup competition is a game that has high possiblity of making profits if you can use your statistics very well.
Since there are so many countries that are participating in this game, it is likely for gamblers to make money because they already know team that are good and strong enough to win most of their games. I see the world cup competition has a easy way to make money when you bet on them with good statistics to shown you how most of the matches will end.

I do place sports bets more during the World Cup game, and I believe it is a normal thing because bookmakers always experience high volumes of first time bettors every four years during the World Cup, which I believe is always due to the patriotic, enthusiastic national emotion, social celebration, and the game fever, which makes the World Cup the number 1 sports gaming event.
However, I never set aside a separate bankroll for the event because, despite the traction the event always got, I still consider it to be just like all the prevent event due to the chance of winning in gambling.

I don't make separate budget or bankroll during world cup, it's just that same bankroll I used while betting in other leagues I use during word cup and to be frank with you I don't enjoy betting on world cup matches that much I don't know why, not that I don't bet world cup matches rather I tend to bet low during world cup for example. if I bet 20 times in other leagues I might just bet like 10 in world cup no matter how Long they stays.

But one thing I like most about world cup is that you can easily figure out teams that would win because some countries doesn't have enough players I mean world class players so this countries easily get defeated especially when playing with any of those countries that look more superior.

I don't only bet on major competitions. I bet on league matches, and as well as major competitions. I do set some money aside for gambling, I do this to ensure control, and avoid gambling indiscriminately. Gambling on major competition like world cup can be very interesting, because every country involved is always doing their best to ensure they lift the trophy, and the strong countries don't compromise with this cup.
To me, i feel gamblers also take advantage major competition like this to make good profit from gambling knowing too well that countries with good team will always win, unlike league matches that you see small team defeating big teams sometimes.

2010 looks like Dinosaur , if you look back you will remember how amazing it has been with gambling. I like world cup but I think I enjoy watching some tournaments than adding money to it, that's how I personally enjoys them, no money, no emotions so I don't later hate a team that I'm suppose to follow. I remember the last world cup, I rooted for France like I had everything on them, if there is anything less I expected from them, it was winning but the end broke me, Argentina pour spit on me.  

However, the coming one, I will do some bet but that depend on what is going on the block. I don't know why this world cup didn't excite me pershaps because it will be hosted in the US I'm not sure but the vibe is not there. I listen to the song Shakira realase for the world cup and my both ears can't even understand the thing she sang, everybody still loves that song she sang for the 2010 south Africa, it's one of the most iconic song in world cup but I will stay behind and observe.

I love to bet more on major competitions for the fun of it. There is more excitement betting on those matches with your friends around challenging each other. So much fun in it. The thrill, the excitement. Drinks all round. Honestly it is a great experience. All good.

Setting aside separate budget for betting is a very smart move. Makes you not over bet and use money you shouldn't have used. Very smart.

World cup is every four years. I think that rarity creates that extreme excitement. But a lot of people make so much mistakes in major match bet. You actually know that this country cannot win. But because of love for the country you place a bet on them to win. Knowing fully well they can't.

For me the situation is always different, I try to tell myself that I won't gamble in a more passive way than I used to do because I don't want to go against my strategy but since it is a world cup season and this happens just once in 4 years I think I might go a little overboard with my gambling this year. I won't only depend on my instinct but I'm going to follow the statistics by favouring the countries that have a higher chances of winning, just because the odd are bigger on the smaller nations that doesn't mean they are going to win since it has always been proven that the countries with more football heritage are the ones that wins the tournament.

Not really and I will only do that if my mind tells me so. So, it's usually a random pick of mine to bet on these competitions. If there's something that catches my eye with it and that made me interested in it, I might do it. As for the bankroll, I set some fixed amount for the bets that I make and that becomes the whole budget that I'll spend for gambling either with these important competitions or just with some casual games that I like to pick and bet in it. But it doesn't change anymore the reason why I bet these days, to have fun but I am not denying that I hope to get some profits.

I actually make more profitable bets during world cup competitions because it seems I understand the teams and their strengths without much need for team history stats but for star players and the managers that handle the teams instead. It's just more easier than the EPL or champions League unless in the early on stages and final stages where things are hotter for the top spot.

Everyone bettor has their own favorite competition to bet on but the bottom line is that when it comes to your favorite the cash is always available.

A separate bankroll is really expensive for such kind of games, I assume a different bankroll in this discussion still amounts to another bankroll for other casual games and match.
I only focus on my normal games and sometimes if possible I play major competitions but, once in a while not consistent. Most times I bet only when my favorite team is playing although I would love to bet on major competitions as such but, not always.

I place both daily bets and long-term bets on special events like the World Cup or Euros. It's exciting to bet on who will win the championship before the tournament starts and wait a month to find out for example. The likelihood of match-fixing is lower in major tournaments like these. That's why I think betting on them is safer than betting on local leagues.

I usually set aside a separate budget for these, but it's not very big. I don't allocate a lot of money to gambling. I just play for fun in the end. I may bet on Spain for this World Cup but I haven't checked odds yet.

Yes.
Actually, the football world cup is a mandatory competition for me to bet. I always set some side money for me to bet on world cups and this year is not going to be the exception.
I also bet in competitions which are not so big or with international reach, but when comes to big leagues and also world cups  I have bet in then since 2018.

Football world cup is one of the biggest and most liquids competitions/leagues one can bet in and it is always exciting to bet in those matches and watch them live with one's friends.

More bets? I don't. In fact, I usually don't even take the World Cup seriously again – not that it doesn't make sense, but the fact that my country doesn't always make it up there for the back years. The only competition I always see money aside to stake on is the Africa Cup of Nations. I don't budget more money, but I can easily use all my weekly gambling budget to stake on one game, especially when my country is playing. I don't like streaming without staking.

IMHO, it doesn't have to be expensive but just a separation for how you'll use it. Like for the world cup, that separated bankroll is intended to be used only for that competition.
And each separated bankroll if it's for sportsbetting or any specific competition could be lesser or equal or more to that of casino games.

The league that you bet on doesn't change what you experience from your betting and for such to happen we see more often that gamblers make out time to always put in efforts that combine winning and risks management incase the game doesn't go the way they wanted it to go, this is what we all have to accept sport games have alot of unpredictable outcome possibilities which mean winning depends largely on the luck of the bettors

I have never bet on international football matches on my own. From Afcon, to Euros, World cup etc, but i think I would make an exception this year and indulge heavily in this year's world cup so I won't be just be a speculator but I'll actually bet on it. Since it's my first time, I'll likely go with favorites. I don't think I'm confident enough will going for under/over totals just yet. Maybe back favorites for group stage?
