Hello everyone,

I’m a smart contract developer. I own an NFT that I developed myself. It’s not just an image. It’s the very first digital title deed to document a unique financial and historical moment, tied to a real physical object. The rarity here isn’t in the object itself, but in the fact that it’s the first and only record of this specific economic event. To me, this is a rare historical asset. It is not “just an NFT.”

I know this community reveres physical collectibles. And I deeply respect that. That is why I am asking the real experts here directly:

Do you see value in this type of “first financial documentation” in the collectibles market?

Are there any serious collectors here interested in an asset like this?

If you like this asset, or know someone who might be interested, let me know.

I’m not selling anything publicly. But I’m looking for serious opinions, and for people who understand this kind of rarity.

Share your thoughts with me. I’m here to listen.

Giving the value of something could be crazy impossible due many factors involved. What years has been developed this NFT?

Without specific details and explanations its close to impossible give a real opinion on something like this.
For what I have seen, this forum could not be seen as the first place to search "aficionados"

NFT markets has clearly another approach from the fast rising we have seen in the past... These kind of collectibles can have just one person interested (based on his wealth it could be enough for your NFT).
But without a real interest or hype, I am not seeing the real chance for a bargain offer.

Here few papers published on the argument in the last year... It's interesting because you have a scientific explanation about the perceived value, changes over the times...

Nadini et al. (Nature 2021): 6,1 milions trades of 4,7 milions di NFT
Vasan et al. (2022): 48.000+ artworks
Fridgen et al. (2023): 860.000 art NFT e 317.950 trades
Kussainova (2023): >4 milions di NFT e 6 milions di trades

Hi bitbollo,

Thank you for your honest and detailed reply. I really appreciate you taking the time, especially given your experience here.

To answer your question: the smart contract was developed very recently, specifically to document a current, ongoing financial anomaly. The event it documents is happening right now. This isn't a historical archive; it's a live timestamp.

I understand completely that this forum might not be the first place for NFT aficionados. Your point about "just one person" being enough is exactly what I was thinking. I'm not looking for a "bargain offer" or hype. I'm trying to find that single serious collector who understands the value of a first-ever financial deed.

Since you have a clear view of the landscape, could I ask you two short questions?

If you were looking for this kind of unique collector, where would you look first?

Do you know anyone here, or outside this forum, who specifically focuses on "historical financial events" as collectibles?

Thank you again for your wisdom.

Please take those as just pure speculation/talk:
Its really hard to find a buyer for items "rare" if there is not a specific collector markets...
You can try in some event/meetings/exposition - but probably you could just look online like social networks mostly/or if btc related post it here.

There was in the past similar offered to sell? Maybe you can start from there. You can try to reach directly them and propose your item.
I have no idea on specific seller / way to sell collectibles like NFT - plus here there are zero details ... your description doesn't add any clue.
You can try to have a look at scarce.city (aka try to submit your collectible to them - they have a better idea of a potential value imho).

My 2 cents in collectible (as Italian stamp collector...)
Most of the time if an user has something really valuable...he knows already where to sell it... Roll Eyes and how much could be the value.

Likewise a rare variation in stamp could me meaningless if there are no collectors/place to sell.
Or maybe there is really a "variation" of something valuable, but... the stamp has an impressive damage and become worthless.
