Nice game going on right here, football is one thing that always don't favour the best side sometimes. Because looking at this game Argentina has created more chances of goals and even has the better ball possession but ,the English has taken the lead. And this is not good for the world champions because the English team is not like the other teams that they have been staging comebacks. Argentina should do more if they are to win this game because it obvious that their best is not good enough looking at this game.

Argentina was overwhelming in the final phase of the match and I don't know about England, it was as if someone pulled the plug and they stopped playing. I understand that you switch to a more defensive mode when you score the first goal in a match like this because there is so much at stake, but they stopped in an instant. Before that goal they were pressing with the whole team, then stopped that pressing and let Argentina play whatever they wanted. In those situations I think it is often a question of time until a passive team gets punished.
Yes, they messed up, I mean England. For me, I have always believed that the best form of defense is attack. Everyone should come out and play up front. You don't seat back and absorb pressure always, because if that's what you do, then there is every possiblity of your conceding goals, and that's what happened. Each time the ball gets to Messi, he brings in a cross, and there is always danger.
I just hope Mikel Arteta is watching and learns from this, because that the same tactics he uses makes him lose important matches especially last season.
