I did not even know what that is a bond program untill you mentioned it and prompted me to do some research. That is crazy... Imagine setting aside over 15k$ just to be able to enter the United States, not even considering the costs associated with the travel itself and the ticket in order to access the match.

This could be easily one of the most expensive World Cups in history (adjusted to inflation).

Also, I am from Venezuela and it seems like something which hits close home to me, since this visa bond program is directly targeted to people from my country and also other countries like Cuba and Nicaragua.

USA is becoming a less and less attractive place to visit with each year that passes by...

  That price is too much for the poor who would manage to go and watch the live match and the average surviving citizens to pay and watch. It would have been better the US Government and it Football Association, make things easier for the interesting visitors and citizens to pay little amount and watch the live matches. Some of the tickets I saw are too much in the World Cup. They don't want crowd in the World Cup and probably because FIFA has made enough money so they don't want much people to go and watch their World Cup games again. I ask this because FIFA hasn't said anything concerning to this outrageous ticket amount that they know many won't be able to afford. Will it be to them, this is business as usual, many football lovers all over the world will still show up to watch the World Cup match despite the outrageous amount

Aside from the unreasonable ticket prices, visa bond requirements are another issue, as not everyone can afford them. However, I've read that the US will exempt football fans from 50 countries from a $15,000 visa deposit requirement if they can show a valid World Cup ticket. Countries not included in the program will be required to pay the deposit. But, if people from countries excluded from the program want to attend the World Cup, they'll need to spend more money, and I think only the wealthy in those countries will be able to afford that.

I really don't know what to say about the price tag of the tickets, because I don't know if it's because I haven't heard the price of other world cup before that's why I feel the price is high or truly this particular world cup has set the standard too high and if so then the competition won't be interesting since the fans and stadium capacity filled is what makes the competition stand out.

A normal hardworking person dreams for years just to watch his favorite team. but now the prices are becoming so expensive that only rich people and celebrities can easily afford them. I have to go with France. Simply because they are the best team on paper right and most pf these guys have played together in club football. Dembele and Doue play together at PSG and they have good synergy that can help France destroy the defense of several teams in the world cup. Let's not forget that they have an insane squad depth. France backup team can literally go toe-to-toe with the other favorites and still win in some cases. It would be interesting if they end up not winning it or don't go as much as semi finals?

I'm not very familiar with it, but as far as I understand, those who are going to the World Cup will be granted a special visa that they can enjoy during the tournament. This is something that was already known to be the case. The World Cup in the USA is very good for the country; it generates a lot of jobs and, on top of everything, a lot of money comes into the nation. So it's a great business any way you look at it. I don't think they'd close doors just like that.

Thats insane condition bro! I dont know if US is just tripping or do they dont realize their rule is quite alarming. This is a significant event on the world and if they gonna make such strange and unhumane rules for the fans like that then definitely many cant even watch it there. It is true that events, as such, generate revenue for the host nations, thereby creating more job opportunities during the period of the tournament, and also, businesses flourish during such activities, leading to sales and patronage in high demand.

The truth is this, every host nation always has something to benefit from whatever they are hosting, most especially sports events such as the World Cup, etc. During this period, people from all paths of the world gather in that nation to witness such events, and this calls for revenue generation because many businesses would be patronised, which would increase the demand from all quarters to increase production to meet the demands for that period of time.

Anyways, I do not think they would also close their doors to such an opportunity, but however, I believe they would want to strengthen the rules stringently to make sure no visitor fails to abide by the laws of the land, and also if anyone is caught wanting, they would have to forfeit the bond which likely belongs to the government and you know this is a cool clean way to hold visitors to be of good conduct their stay and also another means of revenue generation for the government.

That your prediction is not too bad because they were the National Team who played with Argentina and they didn't an incredible good in the final. And they took second in the tournament and they will like to win the trophy this tournament. My instinct is telling me that Argentina will not win this tournament trophy. And talking about the ticket issue. US is trying to create football apathy in the World Cup. The prices are too cost.

That is not an issue to worry about. Iranian Football Federation (IFA) asked FIFA to reschedule all their matches in Mexico and Canada and if FIFA didn't reschedule the matches for Iran, they will know what to do. And if Iran is going to US to play, they will be under the FIFA security protection. And if Iran is going there, they will go with few fans that can help them runs things. And it is only when they are playing in Mexico and Canada that fans will be many. Because of the FIFA high tickets and USA strict policy on the World Cup, the population in the stadiums will not be much.
