I mean, you are still talking about the same things as people are talking in the main thread, which is who do you support, which team will win etc (all questions asked by you in the first post) therefore making this thread redundant.

They are expecting spectators to come for the World Cup, and perhaps this means easier entry into the US. Considering the problems this could create, I'm sure not all spectators will be approved. The US will accept spectators who are deemed problem-free and risk-free. It's certainly possible they could be a little more flexible for this World Cup.

What I'm thinking about most is the Iranians. How will they manage to get in? If they, in particular, are going to the World Cup, I imagine the checkpoints that must be set up just for them. Besides, the USA is very strict about who can and can't enter; that's a fact. I don't know what measures they might implement. Supposedly, visas granted will be the best option, but this could change depending on how they plan their security.

I don't think the US will be deliberately denying the nations from the Arab bloc entry, however, am very optimistic that non of the contingents from such nations would be treated badly, but the US would rather enforce some stringent policies that may possibly restrict people with questionable character from accessing the US even those with valid documents because they wouldn't want to open their borders to dangerous people who might want to take advantage of this opportunity to undermine the security of the USA during the world cup.

Worried about the number of fans that will miss watching the FIFA World Cup live because of the conditions placed by the US although I can't understand what the tweet is about but I think many will miss the word cup because of the financial conditions from the host country US where fans have to make a refundable visa bond requirements of $5,000 to $15,000 visa bond requirements for foreign visitors, to be allowed to watch the games live.

There is not big deal if I am not able to watch the world cup but I know there are other alternatives that is available for us to access the world cup live. The United States is turning to something evil and this is not how things has been for years now.
I don't know why the world cup will be that expensive when I have the alternative to watch at my comfort zone since the United visa has become regulated.

It's a fact that many illegal immigrants will stay in the country, but the USA already has a firm stance on that. What I think is that the USA should guarantee security and ensure the event is conducted legally and everything goes well, that there are no security threats and so as not to tarnish this spectacular soccer tournament. Iran will have its training camp in Mexico, but I read somewhere that it was going to be in that country without going to the USA.

I didn't even bother checking the price because I know it was going to be very expensive, especially as the competition keeps getting closer. I just happen to lose interest in the competition a few months back because of this back and forth between Iran and the United States. I'm not even too concerned about the migration protocol on ground now, but I feel it's something that might eventually go on to affect a few travellers at some point.

And again, FIFA deciding to introduce an half-time music performance, is still something that I'm struggling to understand. This aren't the superbowl for crying out loud. Attempting to disrupt a game for an entire 30mins, just to bring another entertainment, is clearly not how football was designed. I just hope UEFA doesn't follow this very path, because it's not encouraging at all.

I think we should actually be balancing the equation and actually saying that the money FIFA actually gives to the nations too should be reduced plus I learnt that FIFA even during international breaks pays clubs for players on international duty I am not sure on that one but if it’s actually true then I think they will actually be using this to set this excessive fees for fans.

All this rules for me are actually making the competition or tournaments harder for fans to actually watch because imagine me as a fan traveling to another country for the games paying all the money for hotel reservations and even before that the plane ticket money and then had to actually have just not enough for matches, that’s not fair and I will rather be at home watching them.

I could remember how the last AFCON was actually cheap such that even UK citizens were actually coming to watch the tournament In Morocco because it was cost effective than watching a premier league game in the UK. This is how you grow audience and it’s what football tournaments should be all about, cost effective for at least the average person to come and watch

I am worried about the players who deserve to play in the World Cup but, unfortunately, have come across injuries before that day. I saw Eiktike crying because he might miss the World Cup. There are many that I do not want to mention, a long list of them. But it hurts so much.

In addition, I think FIFA made a mistake choosing the US for the World Cup. I knew this would eventually happen.

Would FIFA agree to, they made a mistake choosing the US to host the World Cup? I ask this because FIFA hasn't said anything concerning to this outrageous ticket amount that they know many won't be able to afford. Will it be to them, this is business as usual, many football lovers all over the world will still show up to watch the World Cup match despite the outrageous amount

Sincerely speaking maybe the United States of America shouldn't have been the country to host the World cup this time, I've read so many negative news online about, visa denial for people that want to go and watch the World cup, we've heard how expensive some of the tickets are, I've also read about news concerning licenses to stream the matches, how difficult it has been, this was not the kind of news we heard in the last World cup as everything went on smoothly, The host Nation made sure people applied and got their visa approval on time. If your to host the World, there are stringent laws of yours that you have to relax a little pending when the World cup will be over, and I believe FIFA is supposed to have brief the U.S about this. I know that America is a country that loves basketball more, Their interest is always on basketball and not soccer as the mostly call it, but they should understand that this is a World competition that people are passionate about, especially outside the shores of America, so they should make things easier for people.
