Canada definitely destroyed Qatar, like one of the biggest wins of world cup so far along with Germany. Definitely a huge dela and should not be bad at all to see that. I think it's clear that we are going to end up with something that would not be bad at all for them, they have done very well.

I think Canada at this point guaranteed going up, I do not know mathematically if there is anything, but seems like it's guaranteed for now, that's not a bad situation to be in at all.

Nothing is guaranteed. You don't know if Canada will win their next match. However, their superb victory over Qatar should be a motivational factor for them in their next match. Only Canada and Germany have scored more goals in one match so far. It will be lovely to see all the three host countries in the round of 16.

Getting a point off USA  will be really hard coupled with the fact that they are already sitting first and would want to finish up string at the same first position so to avoid being set up with a stronger side. USA so far have been one of the perfect teams in the competition even forl the way they are performing and it would be a really tough task for turkey to get a win there, am just so surprised how turkey have failed to impress in their group because I know there are a good team.

That was indeed a humiliating match Canada played against Qatar few days ago which ended with 6 goals to nil, just as Germany played against Curacao that ended with 7 goals to 1. And to be honest, these two games seem to have been the most interesting, and talked about match through out this World Cup. Whereas in few minutes from now Germany will be playing against Ivory Coast, and I'm very much certain that this will also be another easy game for the German players,  as I see a potential of the least 5 goals coming out from this game to be scored by the German players, and likewise a potential 1 goal from Ivory Coast, making it Goal Goal. But however, let's see how it goes as the match have just started right now.

Surprisingly, Ivory Coast is leading Germany right from the first half. I knew it was going to be a difficult game for Germany but, not to the point where Germany would be struggling to keep up with Ivory Coast. They haven’t gotten a lot of chance with this team, Ivory Coast defense have being optimum at this point. After Germany did beat Curaçao with an outrageous scoreline, you would feel it’s a stroll in the park for them in this World Cup but, Ivory Coast defense have proven sufficient until now. The USA beat Australia 2-0 and advanced to the next round with 6 points. Now, in 6 hours, Türkiye will play against Paraguay. Whichever team wins will have a chance to advance. I hope Turkey wins, because we have a young and dynamic squad. This generation deserves to reach higher rounds.

Unfortunately, Turkey lost quickly to the United States. The United States scored a goal just two minutes into the match. Turkey is currently bottom of the group standings, making it difficult for them to advance to the next round. I also hope Turkey wins and advances to the next round so they can compete with other teams after the group stage is over.

Turkey lost their 2nd match as well against Paraguay. Galarza scored an early goal in the 2nd minute but turkey kept 77% possession in their first half 0.53xG, and 12 shots but didn't get equalizer. In the second half Turkey again dominated with 80% of the possession 1.64xG, 5 big chances created and 20 total shots but even with all these numbers they didn't get any goal . Caceres was named as player of the match . Turkey is now almost out of the World cup . If Turkey win against USA and Australia beat Paraguay with big margin then Turkey can go through to the next round.

All the players are responsible for this failure.

The odds are stacked against them. Ivory Coast's players are much more professional and athletic. Moreover, they are extremely motivated to win this match. It's unlikely that Curaçao's goalkeeper will be able to repeat his feats. It's doubtful, even statistically. Athletes usually can't maintain superhuman performance for long periods of time. From a psychological and physiological standpoint, it's practically impossible.

Nevertheless, I'm considering betting on a positive handicap (+2) for Curaçao against Ivory Coast. Perhaps, subjectively, I just like Curaçao. I have a very good opinion of their coach, Dick Advocaat (and his successor, Cor Pot).💁
