In Group H, Uruguay's draw with Cape Verde yesterday has made their chances of advancing to the next round more difficult. Uruguay's final match will be against Spain, and I think it will be difficult for them to get any points from that game.

Muslera's mistake was the reason Uruguay lost points. I knew Uruguay couldn't beat Cape Verde because they aren't a good team.

What a disappointing performance from Belgium against Iran today with a goalless draw. Belgium has not had quite the expected performance in this World Cup especially after a draw against Egypt but still failed to secure a win against Iran.

It was also bad that they were awarded their first red card in the World Cup against a team like Iran. It is noticeable that these smaller teams are more defensive minded over the attack and would fight for a draw since that is the most achievable.

After two games in the FIFA World Cup, Belgium ate still winless, who would've made such prediction before the beginning of the tournament? I guess no one considering the teams they've played so far. The Belgium squad has one of the best teams on terms of quality of players but against Iran, they failed to register a goal, that was too disappointing.
The good thing for them is that they still have a very good chance of reaching the round of 32, they only need to beat New Zealand and on paper, that should be an easy game for them but should they fail to win that particular one, I don't think the Belgium fans will forgive their players.

Uruguay is the favorite against its opponent. Cape Verde has virtually no chance of winning, but there’s a slim possibility they could manage a draw. They managed to earn a point in a crucial match by drawing 0-0 against Spain, but since Uruguay also drew against Saudi Arabia in its first match—and thus has no room for further point losses—Uruguay will give it their all to win this match. Since their final match is against Spain, if they fail to win this one, there’s a chance they won’t advance from the group.

I also thought Uruguay would do their possible best in this game to defeat Cape Verde, since their last match is against Spain but unfortunately they ended in draw with Cape Verde. Honestly i don't think Uruguay has any chance to qualify to the round of 16 again, because Spain is a formidable opponent and they need the victory against Uruguay to remain on of the table because they are the best team in this group.

I'm much impressed by Cape Verde performance, at first i underrated them but they have been playing a very good game, if they can continue to perform like this, I'm very sure they will be the favorite against Saudi Arabia and also give them the advantage to qualify to the round of 16.

In their first group match, they managed to defeat Senegal 3-1. They’ll be looking to secure at least the top spot by winning by a wide margin against Iraq. Since Norway defeated their opponent 4-1, France will need to win by at least a 3- or 4-goal margin as well. I expect France to score at least three goals in this match.

Oyazabal was the undisputed man of the match for me, scoring two and giving an assist for the first goal scored by Lamine Yamal.

In the previous match, Oyazabal faced a lot of criticism for playing very poorly. He even set an unusual record as a player who didn’t touch the ball for 30 minutes. However, in the match against Saudi Arabia, Oyazabal made up for the fans’ disappointment with an outstanding performance, scoring two goals and providing one assist. I hope Oyazabal can maintain this level of performance in the match against Uruguay. Especially since Spain’s position isn’t yet completely secure for advancing from the group stage. Uruguay still has a chance to advance. As long as they manage at least a draw in their match against Spain. And actually, even if Uruguay loses, they’ll still have a chance to at least finish in third place, provided Cape Verde can beat Saudi Arabia. And I think Cape Verde might just be able to beat Saudi Arabia. And if the match between Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde ends in a draw, Uruguay will still have a chance to finish third in Group H, because their goal difference the number of goals scored and conceded will give them an edge over Saudi Arabia.

Right now, Uruguay’s only concern is seeing Saudi Arabia defeat Cape Verde.

If France wants to gain the advantage of leading the group, they need to score as many goals as possible against Iraq. They also need to beat Norway. However, Norway is not as easy a team as the others. They showed us this during the qualifying rounds. Norway is in very good form and could even top the group. France has to be very careful against them.

I'm not really surprised about that result because since the beginning of this year world cup my eyes are over filled with lots of dramas so this doesn't move me anymore, because on a normal day I don't see Uruguay playing draw with Saudi Arabian nor Cape Verde it can never happen, like them and Spain are supposed to be sure of themselves in that group stage but in this case they're still the ones struggling, if not for the players advantage Spain had they could also be going through all this too, so since the group is like this let's see who will Make it between Uruguay and Cape Verde because I know Spain position is secured.

Iran is shocking the whole world with the results they are getting. The thing is, this team has all the excuses they could give and nobody would bat an eye, and the fact that they are looking like they will get out of the group stages is a miracle.

Because as with usual USA antics, USA didn't allow them to play, so Iran would have to actually leave the country as soon as the game ends, and they end up traveling back for their games, and takes five hours to get there everyday, between going to plane, fly with the plane, get out, get searched in detail, let go, then travel to stadium, takes five hours, and on an average of 30 years old team, they on all accounts should be tired to even play a game, but they still do fine. Must be making Americans so mad that they are doing fine lol.

Canada is one more host and they had the craziest match of this world cup so far. Red cards, a broken leg, 6 goals, but this wasn't normal and it will become more clear when they have to beat the other teams that advance from their groups.

All the three host countries are doing great work in the world cup except Canada. From the circumstances surrounding Canada National Team after the first match, I don't think they will scale through the second second stage of the world cup. USA has won all their matches and likewise Mexico. All my prediction yesterday and today are entering.

I feel I have to agree with you on this one. A win like that against Qatar can be very misleading. The result looks nice, but it doesn't reflect how good or bad Canada really is.

However I have to mention that matches like that can change the spirit for the better because it is new for Canada to have this massive support by the audience and on that day, they won the audience. Everyone who knows and played a sport and was perhaps not very good at it and certainly not one of the best, probably knows how much of a difference it can be when suddenly a whole team starts believing in themselves, have a good portion of luck during the matches and the fans backing them. It is a mixture that can do quite a bit.

Now to stay in reality here, Canada won't beat teams like Spain or France ever, no matter how many fans there are and how lucky they get.

If Messi had scored in the 9th minute, he would have created new history. Apart from that goal, Messi has already created a record of 18 goals. And the biggest achievement is that he was able to score two goals against a very strong Austrian defense. Austria played a really good defensive game. With time, the pressure from Austria increased a lot. After half time, Austria started playing aggressively. As a result, their pass accuracy increased a lot. But Argentina's defense is also very strong. Having Messi means goals in every match. If this situation continues to be regular, then another World Cup can come under their control for the team.

Despite the fact that Cape Verde was able to draw against Spain, I was surprised that Uruguay failed to beat them. Cape Verde has become one of the stubborn team in the World Cup, they have secured two points in their last two games. Before the start of the games, Spain and Uruguay was my favorite teams to qualify in their group, but Uruguay are not ready for the World Cup, they drew their first game against Saudi Arabia, also draw the second game.

However, Uruguay will find it difficult to even get a draw against Spain. Spain will go into the next game with a lot of pressure, they need to three points to qualify for the next round, though even without a draw they will still qualify, but I believe Spain will win the next game, which is why they removed some of their key players from the last game after scoring three goals in the first half.

Sincerely speaking Messi has been exceptional in this year's World Cup, although even in the previous World Cup, Messi did well, he was instrumental. For him to miss a penalty shows that nobody is above mistake, the good thing is that, he was able to immediately correct that mistake, and with the way am seeing it, he will definitely be among the highest goal scorers in this competition, he has four goals already and we are still in the group stages.

They don't have to score as many goals as possible, all they have to do is win this match and then of course it depends on how the match against Norway ends, but I think chances are pretty small that Norway can defend against France. Lots of goals would come into play if Norway wins their match against Senegal and then end the match against France with a draw, but that is a lot of ifs for the moment. First of all Norway would have to beat Senegal and I think that will already be a significant milestone for Norway.

So far all that is known is that Haaland is in good shape and he can carry the team, but what happens when they play against a far stronger team than Iraq? This remains to be seen and only if they win against Senegal and then pass the test against France, the score difference would become relevant. I doubt it will come down to it. My expectation is that France will finish the group with 9 points.
