Croatia managed to defeat Ghana and, with this victory, finished second in the group. To be honest, we can’t say Croatia played an impressive game against Ghana, but we can say they won because they had a superior roster. Although Ghana had the potential to earn a draw in this match, they were unable to do so. Croatia, at least, finished the group stage in second place with two wins following their heavy defeat against England.

You have said it all. I was expecting Ghana to at least draw the match. Ghana defense became prone to Croatia to oppressed which they would have defended their area. And in turn of Croatia, they are doing nothing in this World Cup. This not the Croatia I know in years back. Croatia is struggling to survive in the group stage of the World Cup. Colombia and Portugal played to a draw. It’s fair to say that both teams put up a good fight; in fact, I think Colombia was the side closer to winning the match. Frankly, I didn’t expect Portugal—despite being the favorite in this match—to fail to win. Colombia is truly a strong opponent, and they proved it once again.

Argentina is totally unstoppable, they have won all the games that they have played so far, hopefully they will perform the same later in the further stages. Argentina have scored 3 goals while it was just a single goal for Jordan. I think Jordan needs to improve their pass accuracy and needs to give more passes, if we analyze both teams based on passes, so Argentina has an accuracy of above 93 percent, whereas Jordan has less than 85, around 82% or 83%. Whereas Argentina did 779 passes and Jordan just did 273 passes, a huge difference.

This is the first time Canada is playing a match outside its own country since the group stage; they are facing South Africa in Los Angeles.
I believe Canada will win the match in regulation time and advance to the Round of 16.

So if Messi started the game, instead of resting, and just told everyone to give the ball to Messi every time, he could have scored 3 more gams instead of just 1 more goal. Messi don't chase record unlike Ronaldo, banter aside but Messi was brought in during the second half and he still managed to score one goal before the match ended, still the leading goal scorer in the tournament, this is no competition for him, he clearly wants to enjoy football and win the World Cup again for his country.

I am not doing calculations like the others are doing but I heard that Algeria was not willing to win the match and they prefer to get the draw so they can face Switzerland instead of Spain, thus increase their odds to pass to the round of 16.

FIFA is not subsiding ticket prices. Hard working fans will not be able to fork out $6000 for a FWC ticket. The atmosphere inside stadiums must be kicking but fans want to watch games with friends. Where is the fun if they will pay $6000 to sit without their mates. Who can afford buying 2 or 3 tickets. Fans should be at the front of FIFA's plans so ticket prices must change.

I also think so, and from the group stage, I've seen that the Croatian team isn't particularly strong and is very different from five years ago. But a team like Croatia is also worth wary of, as Portugal itself was once overwhelmed by a seemingly average team in the group stage. This Croatian team shouldn't be underestimated by Portugal. The Round of 32 is all about survival and progressing to the next round, so any team will be working hard to win.

Columbia have strong attackers and defenders which mak them a formidable opponent. They are able to finish top because they players are well in form. Portugal is the only team in their group that was able to hold columbia in a draw. Despite that Portugal had a very strong team columbia was still tough for them. If not that Portugal defence was strong, columbia could have defeated them. It was tough match for the both sides but columbia play better.  Portugal tactics in the match was poor, Ronaldo was over stress he would have score if he was getting good assists.

I think Croatia can get to this stage, because although Portugal isn't playing very well, I think they'll beat them. I don't know, something tells me so. Belgium and Senegal will face off in the Round of 32. Belgium is, of course, the favorite here, but Senegal is not a team to be underestimated. Although they lost to Norway and France in the group stage, they put up a good fight. Belgium, on the other hand, drew with Iran and Egypt in their group. It’s possible that Belgium will win this match, but I also think there’s a high chance the game will end in a draw and go into extra time. Since Senegal is a team that likes to score and concede goals, we could see plenty of goals in this match.
