But what they don't understand is that some players are system type of players, take them out of that system and they won't be able to perform well. I wasn't even shocked to see how the Portugal midfield was completely awful and couldn't even perform well. Bruno Fernandez with the highest assist in premier League couldn't continue with tht streak in the world cup. Vitinha was no where to be seen , the only I often see him was he is being subbed out. And right now, I'm watching a slightly more intense match between France and Morocco, which was scoreless in the first half, but by the second half, France had a two-goal lead over Morocco.

Argentina managed to defeat Egypt, albeit with difficulty, and advanced to the next round. Goal keepers are doing wonders in this world cup.  While the big players are turning up perfectly well for their respective team. In this world cup, I did not see exceptional players aside from the Mbappe, Haaland, Messi, you know the leagues. For average players, they did not perform well to attract big clubs to sign them. To better put it, we didn't see any hidden gem in the world cup.

I can't really say much about the controversy on Argentina and Egypt match because in football, there must be a disagreement between players or fans or official and that is why VAR was introduced to overview actions of the scenes to know what really happened and through the VAR, the referee takes his decision to cancel or to approve. And according to analyst. Before an individual judge any case in football, they should watch the action more than 10 times to know what really happened and not just once viewing. And my concern is the final match. Who will play and who will win. If Spain play with Argentina in the simi final, Spain will win them and they will not reach the final match.

This reminds me so much of the World Cup in 2002 when the corruption was clearly visible in front of your TV and no one did anything ...and we have so many documentaries about 98 WC but also 2002 WC. Now imagine how many documentaries this WC will have because in my honest opinions , this is the biggest joke towards football and players and most important towards the fans.

At this point , hopefully Belgium will achieve their golden form here in USA and snatch this title in front of Messi itself hehe.

Personally, I don’t think the players wanted to win the World Cup or rather try to win the World Cup. Maybe they have a problem with Ronaldo, and want their own team instead of being led by a 41 year old footballer.

I have seen too many clips of Bruno Fernandes butchering chances at goal for Portugal in the same positions where he would normally pass at United.

Between Canada and Tunisia, I think Tunisia disappointed me the most. I thought they had improved much more, but their matches were boring. They didn't have much strategy; I think they were just playing for the sake of playing. Or maybe the other teams were so good that Tunisia looked so bad. Canada didn't seem that difficult to me; in fact, I thought they had better preparation, but their performance wasn't what I expected.

I disagree, the penalty was a penalty and it was clearly a hard tackle, you can not do that within the lines, that would be very wrong in any league and not anything corrupted by the referee.

However, Mbappe did miss it and then he made it up by scoring an insane goal. This is what France has, a dude with a 20 games to 20 goal ratio, and when you have someone like that, it is very difficult to lose. Mbappe scores in his clubs too, but not this many at this level. I mean even in 2022 finals, he scored three goals and it still wasn't enough but he did his best.

France is better than Morocco, no doubt about that fact. My only problem is the referees decision that accept to count small mistakes or even non existing ones to the known teams and do the opposite with smaller nations. Smaller in term of football of course. That ruin the game and just blow more criticism to referees and FIFA credibility.

Spain victory was normal since they are the better side. Belgium was expected to leave earlier but they reached the quarter-final which is not bad in my opinion. I hope Courtois is ok because he left the field after an injury before Spain second goal.

Morocco has been very dominant in the World Cup but since they were scared of France, they outplayed them and were eliminated easily by them. I was expecting a very tough match but that was not what I saw in this game and France outclassed them and won the game easily, making their way through to the semifinals easily. Morocco still remain the strongest African team even though they didn’t make it farther than they’ve always like in the last World Cup. They were the only hope of the African continents but their journey has already being cut short and they’ll now have to comeback in the next World Cup to try again.

Belgium has been the problem of themselves right from the beginning of their stay in this World Cup and I blame Senegal for not using that opportunity to book a spot in the quarter final , it would have been different if an African team played Spain tonight. Imagine how much confusion the Belgium players have with them in this battle against Spain, is like they don't have any intentions of getting a win after they managed to equalize the game, they need to work more on themselves now that some of the old players will be leaving the Belgium national team, if I'm to rate their performance tonight from 1-10 I'll go for 4 over 10.

No, for me Morocco played poorly against France, you can see the statistics of shots, only 1 kick on target, the rest they can not make a more aggressive attack again, I know France is too sturdy from all his lines, just because Morocco can not find a gap space to score then they play badly.
Can say the game is not comparable, although in the end according to statistical data Morocco more possession of the ball a little

If they want the FWC dream to continue they must beat Argentina. Colombia was difficult so will Argentina but Switzerland can win. Argentina believe they will win the world cup. Switzerland want to write a new chapter by playing in the semis of the FWC.
