We are DT1. We vetted the DT2 members doing investigative work and we put our names behind the trust scores that keep this forum usable. But it also means we have targets on our backs.

The troll is obvious if you've been here as long as I have: they push something sketchy, tag a DT1 member who stays silent, and declare "even Default Trust won't touch this" — hoping newbies don't look closer. Or they bait a response, twist a few words out of context, and spend the next months/years using your own credibility to sell their narrative. Either way, they profit and your trust score (and earning potential) takes a dive.

This isn't about being right. On an anonymous forum, "winning" an argument with a throwaway account is impossible. The account has nothing to lose and your reputation is the only collateral in play.

What I Ask

If you see a DT1 member staying silent in a thread where they're being baited, don't mistake that silence for ignorance or agreement. It's discipline.
If you see a troll declaring victory because someone didn't bite, don't validate it with a reply that drags you in too. A simple negative trust rating from a DT1 with clean hands carries more weight than any wall of text.
Finally, let your DT2 picks investigate and fight while you let your ratings speak. Stay clean so those ratings still matter when it counts.

Discuss: What patterns have you seen? Where has silence worked, and where has engagement backfired?
DT1-only so we can speak plainly without feeding the cycle we're describing.

I have respect for the DT1s not on my distrust list (which is the large majority). But to trust them all unequivocally, without question, is nonsense. They, above all else, should be scrutinized and held to the highest standards.

Bump - still looking for DT1 discussion on how to deal with persistent anonymous trolls.   DT1 only - all other posts will be removed and placed in the audit thread.

Idea:   Tire them out.   Edit old posts and force them to check an increasing number on an increasing schedule until they cry themselves to sleep.

You know what’s funny, I was actually on the DT1 Pipeline and close to becoming a DT1. A few DT1’s actually publicly vouched to make sure I’d never become a DT1. Around that time a bunch of alts and DT1 cronies came out of the woodwork and piled on negatives on my account. It was really out of tribesmen and spite. Everyone I've done monetary deals with went smoothly. It’s just hurt feelings that caused this witch isn’t how the trust system was intended to be used. Hence the reason I now fight the corruption and expose these overly trusted DT1 trust abusers.

I wasn’t aware for years about it because I wasn’t ever impacted. But I can see this has gone on for over a decade to many innocent people. There are a lot of good people that are no longer here because the circle rejected them.

Oh, and they aren’t just good at it. They are the best at it. Most can’t keep up with it and are overwhelmed, so they decide to quit and the problem seldom gets exposed. That’s a big reason why they hate my use of AI, IMO. It’s easy to keep up with them. They actually aren’t that smart. They just have numbers and know the system well enough to abuse and take advantage of it. That’s another reason they hate the idea of changing anything. It doesn’t work in their favor. They often attempt to mock and silence me. I’ve developed a deep, dark level of sarcasm now in efforts to combat the hypocrisy and abuse. Pissing them off simply with my existence feels like a win.

That’s right. But someone (unaware or status quo defender) always tends to come out and say, ‘I’m not afraid’ or ‘no one is afraid,’ in an effort to discredit that. That’s just not the point you are making or the one I have also made in the past.

Also, only a few tend to stick. Many get overwhelmed and run off. They aren’t even equipped to fight back because they lack basic knowledge of how the system works here. It makes them disadvantaged, unaware, and confused. They have to want to learn and to fight just to stay and face abuse, often accepting that they will never receive any justice because the hierarchy maintains a stranglehold on the narrative, manipulates, and controls the trust system.

The whole structure of this forum creates a dynamic that sort of influences newbies and lower-tiered members to suck up to the hierarchy. That gives a lot of power to DT1s, their trust, and acceptance of others. Not to mention, there is a corrupt subgroup of DT1s that’s in cahoots together.

It would take a wave of influence to disband them. Many of the good or even great DT1s are silent about this issue, which makes them almost like accomplices to this injustice.

This is partly why I’m so quick to tell a DT1 in my own way to ‘fuck off.’ I treat lower-tiered members often way better unless they reveal themselves as alts or as hierarchy ass-kissers. That too contributes to the problem.

Ultimately, I want to stick up for the innocent ‘little guy.’

The bad DT1s have an authoritative behavior and a god complex. If you don’t fold to them, they crush reputations and then will say, ‘Oh, you did it to yourself.’ Essentially, it means you didn’t bow down to them and this is what you get.

I was thinking about creating another account and being a complete suck up just to become a DT1 and then reveal myself as Kazkaz27 to expose this. Although, it’s kinda a waste of time and I wouldn’t want to be them. I’m sure they would just turn that narrative bad.
