I prefer just the crypto markets that are not of shit coins, the commodities and stock exchanges. But if it is forex, it has been the least that I am visiting.

One thing that I am very sure about the forex markets and other markets is that if you are able to make it in the past, you can still be able to make it right now.

I always said most traders are losing, so most traders are still losing. Nothing changed.

I don't usually check the forex, but I tried the XM broker in MT5 with an ultralow standard account. Even the price on forex is much more stable; the fluctuation is very fast on the shorter time frame. I tried a few trades there; the only problem is the current strategy that I know works for me didn't work on forex. However, it needs a bit of study and adjustment if I take forex seriously.
I don't know how Forex worked before, but that is based on my experience trading Forex. I backtested my strategy with a few forex pairs. I got a bad result so decided to go back with crypto trading.

Well, if you feel forex is changing, you need to adapt. Remember, even experts are always studying the market, adapting and developing to be profitable in the market.

It is not only the Forex market that changes; there are also changes in the crypto market occasionally, and your ability to notice them as a trader, especially if you use indicators, matters a lot during these periods; your indicators may give a lot of false readings.

This is why it is not just good to trade using indicators but also to practice and learn price action so that you could use it as a way to confirm analysis in times when the market is changing.

It is good to use indicators together with price action to get better confirmations.

If i must telpl you the truth, this is majorly a crypto trading discussion section and even as the assets that the platform is widely prioritized on.
So you'll find very less level of forex traders at their professional places here and perhaps I actually don't see this change in the forex market as how it is also changes as the world is changing because I didn't see the foreign exchange market is attached to the World evolution except for the Ai trading bot of now or its significance on global economy inflation.
I'll suggest you don't just go into trading without acquiring proper knowledges and don't ride on because you hears about others being successful.
Be aware of scam too.

Am not really conversant with the forex market, but with all this macroeconomic volatilities ongoing that revolves around the innovation and integration of AI technology, de-dollarization policies and heavy geopolitical tension ongoing, it is expected that the market must change and old methods would definitely not yield good returns if reused under current circumstances.

Those who succeed best at trading are actually those who know how to adapt to market volatility situations and know how to observe and study the new patterns, use demo accounts for testing, do their own research to upgrade knowledge and skills and ultimately use risk management skills in full dose.

I spent a long time trading Forex PAMM accounts, but starting around 2018, when Bitcoin first hit $20K, investors began aggressively pulling out their capital. Investment inflows plummeted, and even the subsequent crypto winter didn't reverse that trend. Eventually, PAMM services practically phased out because of the crypto boom.

Frankly, that’s the only major shift I’ve noticed in Forex. Trading traditional currency pairs feels exactly the same as it always did. However, trading crypto on Forex platforms didn't work out for me. I eventually switched to the Cryptomus gateway to capitalize on staking rewards and significantly cut down my trading fees.

The funny thing is, I even trade gold via tokens now, which is something I used to do on Forex. At this rate, I might start trading tokenized stocks next.

I would expect them to change, other markets are changing and forex is not an exception. It's entire different world after the tariff, every market has been getting pretty difficult for someone to get into and a lot more unpredictable.
Even bitcoin is so unpredictable these days despite the obvious cycle, gold that was considered the most stable, isn't so stable anymore.

I actually started out trading in forex and was really in it for many years before I started trading my first BTC I definitely found it a bit different, first thing was it used to be a day break, and you could also earn overnight interest, which was a big part of my initial trading (until I realized it was dumb lol).

Must be 10+ years since I left, not surprised if it changed anymore.

I've been actively trading the Forex market for over 2 decades, and honestly, I'm surprised about what you are talking about. Perhaps you are referring to the dynamism of the market, which is a good thing, because no mature/serious market would always act or move the same way.

Nonetheless, this is not new, but has been the beautiful characteristic of the financial market assets, including the crypto market, especially Bitcoin.

Maybe you should explain yourself better, provided the market is getting more difficult for you to understand/analyse. In that case, this is not the fault of the Forex market, but your inability to upgrade your analytical skills.

The forex market is always changing because the world itself keeps changing. Things like inflation, wars, interest rates, elections and global economic news now affect the market much faster than before, so strategies that worked some years ago may not work the same way today. A lot of traders are realizing they need to adapt and relearn the market instead of trading with an old mindset. Sometimes taking a short break to study current market behavior is actually smarter than forcing trades and losing money. In trading, learning really never ends.

Yes forex market changes because the world is also changing, that is a perfect answer you have given to the op a lot of things are affecting the market just like you have listed them these things are the reasons why the market is always changing and no one really have the power to stop it from doing so and I don't see it as a big deal because it is part of life.
I really don't like forex i believe cryptocurrency trading is more better.
And again you have said a very important thing it is better to sometimes study some new strategies and learn more so you won't be losing money always some people usually find it hard to advance their knowledge they always use the old strategy they know of which is very bad for a trader.

Because what you passed through to get to know how to be profitable at first, is more than what you have to pass through to become profitable again

I don't do forex but there's such a hype of what I see in my social media feed. The trader content creators are feeding their fans with fantasy that it's such a good market. No debate for each markets because they have their own beauty and benefits to each of us. But if someone is just testing the waters, don't feel bad when you lose. That's part of growing and you'll know which niche you really are if you're up for trading. And since we're in a bitcoin forum, the majority will agree that the best market to dive in isn't the forex but the crypto market because we've been so used to its fluctuation.

Of course mate because Forex market reflects the economic state of respective countries. They are same like the Stocks. But even Crypto their selves can sometimes go with what the world is flowing too. They are all related to money though, that is why. Maybe you are new in the Forex market, which is why things like this still shocks you.

But yeah, you can never go wrong with learning. Newbies should not say that maybe they are late because even the veterans never stop learning.

It's not a new thing for someone like me who has been in the market for a long time now. Every now and then, the market behaviour do change. Some months are pretty good with nice price actions and you feel like you own the market. Some months are exceptionally bad, you feel like you've lost your grip and your strategy had failed you. Sometimes it could be for as long as a year, but all these are as a result of the changing world economy. If you understand how the economy works, you would know very well that every year has different data and statistics. These data influences price and that's why you have to be ready to adapt. Your strategy didn't fail, it just had a few twerk which you have to be ready to adjust to. If you do experience this, it's best to take some time off to study the market new behaviours before returning back to trade..
