I am tired of moderators deleting my posts without even explaining the reason. it keeps happening and honestly it killed my motivation to stay here.

I never had this kind of problem on Altcoinstalks. people there are more relaxed and i can post normally without worrying about random deletions all the time.

So i would rather leave and stay active there instead.

If you care to try and improve on your posting pattern here I think you need to learn the rules because obviously the both forum has different rules and probably that’s why you must have been having your posts deleted more here.

One of the reasons I feel your posts and threads are deleted here is possible because of either or both of this conditions in the thread below, you can actually try to evaluate your posts.

The policy to not remove anything worked when the forum was small. Now that we have thousands of posts a day, we can't afford 50% of them being junk. The moderators are now instructed to be less tolerant of low-value posts.

Some guidelines:


2. No zero value posts or threads, like "SELL SELL SELL"
3. No pointless or uninteresting threads.

Your account can not be deleted, but you can decide not to post on this forum. You can also decide to use an email and password that you will delete by not backing up both and forgot of this forum.

Just keep posting, be post in a way that your post will not delete. Most new members on this forum have one or two or more of their posts deleted.

You are repeating the same mistake the moderators want you to learn, and that is posting in the wrong board.

This thread was first posted in the Bitcoin discussion before it was moved to Meta. If not for your complaint, it would have been deleted by a moderator.

I look at your archieve post history and it still the same habit, posting and spam on the wrong board. For instance, look at some of your post:

I will like you to go through your [Archive] post history; most of the deleted posts are there, and they are generic spam posts.

Until you adjust, your posts will be deleted, and your account will eventually be banned. It's either you improve or go to Altscointalk, but I'm sure they don't tolerate spam over there.

Instead of just blaming the mods, why not look at what you're doing wrong that's making your posts get deleted? You are not the only one on the forum, nor are you the only newbie account on the forum currently, so what makes you feel the mods have an agenda against you? That is why they delete your post.

You should know how to look at a problem and learn from it. You can't keep repeating the same thing and expect the mods to look the other way. It's not a difficult rule to follow. Don't spam and make your posts in the right board. If you read the descriptions on the boards, there shouldn't be any problem.

Even altcoinstalk won't let you spam on their forum. Mods have nothing against you; take that mindset out of your head. If your posts are constantly getting deleted, then you need to check yourself.

Maybe stop posting posts that needs to be deleted, and based on what Cookdata shared, it is not surprising that those posts got deleted.

Also, what I've noticed on altcoinstalks, they are much more lenient when it comes to deleting posts, or maybe they aren't just being reported to mods, because there are less active members there and more active members here that report posts compared to altcoinstalks.

This happened to me, I was brand new and I thought I was right but when I learned about all the functions of Bitcointalk, I realized my mistake.
I was writing content for another answer and had several pages open in the browser, including Bitcointalk (I had a customized translator test tool page open).

The answer to a question had moved to another place due to having too many browser tabs open. I didn't notice it,
Later when I looked at the functions of Bitcointalk Forum, I realized my mistake .

ABCbits and LoyceV noticed and pointed out my mistake!

From then on, I didn't open too many pages (15 to 20) in the browser and didn't work on it.

The probable reason is always sent to your inbox whenever your post is deleted. Read the forum rules, read the board sticky threads, make appropriate posts, and there won't be any problems

Even if you leave the forum, I am sure you won't be missed since you add no value.

There's no option to delete an account on your own, so you did the right thing by requesting a better option: just leave the forum and come back when you are ready.
Every forum is different, so you have to adapt to the environment and the rules. Why not take the challenge of checking what is wrong with how you post, when you get it, adapting will be easy.

You can not delete your account but you can abandon your account like this.

It's not possible. Just abandon it.

Change your password to something random.
Change you email to something random.
Log out

That is the ONLY WAY your account will be deleted.

You can change your email like this before abandon your account. This way you can avoid any future compromise with your email that can be used to access your account.

Make sure that your email address is secure. If you don't want to set an email address, use something like yourUserName@invalid.bitcointalk.org; don't use a random nonsense email like y@x.com, since somebody might create that domain/email.

But can you tell us more here regarding this matter? What kind of post did you create that got deleted? And in what section did you publish those posts? Maybe this can indicate to us the real problem, and we can help you in the right way so that you won't make the same mistake next time, if there is any. Other than this, mate, don't get motivated just because of this, as there are some posts of mine that also got deleted by moderators. And this is normal. But the thing is that if you are not wrong at any point and still your posts are getting deleted, then that's a different thing.

I believe that you must be making a mistake, like spamming, posting in the wrong sections, or anything like that. As a result, moderators are deleting your posts. They are doing their best jobs as moderators to keep the forum environment clean and healthy. And honestly, this is a very much-needed and important thing. Getting my point or not? So, please bring those kinds of posts to our attention that got deleted. Thank you!

I think OP knows that the admin doesn't care if he left the forum, because he has no contribution here, he just wants to vent his frustration because of his post's deletion.

I just think that the best way to understand is to be given a reason why his posts get deleted and if it's something that he has been given, then its the fault of the op fault of the op for not taking correction and even he goes somewhere else and no one calls him out on his errors, that's not growth and they don't want him to grow and he himself isn't interested in growth but where he'd be cuddled and his nonsense tolerated.

Just abandon the account if you don't want it anymore, but I can see a few reports on you for unsubstantial posts etc. Just read the rules to learn what you're likely doing wrong or just ask a mod or post in Meta if you want answers or clarity on why specific posts were deleted.

I don't see any reason, either. When my posts were deleted, all of us were affected, but we still have to take it positively, ask why the deletion occurred, and improve. If you pass the test here in Bitcointalk, you're going to pass anywhere

Every forum's environment is different from one another, so treat every forum differently

If OP had searched with keywords "account" and "delete" in topic titles, he would've found similar topics and the answers that accounts are not deleted upon request. But of course, as commonly known, searching is either rocket-science, obscure magic or heavily over-rated, meaning unlikely executed by Newbies. Sad, but true. Same for reading and understanding the forum rules and other valuable resources laid out to Newbies and those who are genuinely interested.

Setup a security question in your user profile and go for a password reset by security question: this will lock your account, likely permanently because you haven't staked anything to later get your account unlocked again. This will prevent you being tempted to use it again, because you can't unlock it by yourself and the recovery team won't do it for you, either.

You can also start to plagiarize which will get your account banned permanently, though this doesn't delete your existing posts, normally. Be sure to understand the consequences. Once an account of yours is permanently banned, new accounts you might later create will be banned, too, if someone manages to attribute the other accounts to you.

I'm not too serious with my proposals. Just log-out and don't come back unless you change your stance. With your posting history it's not likely you will be missed.

This forum is a forum that never accept spam so before your post are being deleted that means those post are spam post and that was why it was deleted, I can't remember if my post has ever been deleted in this forum and that's because I don't engage my self in spam or things I don't have knowledge about, I will advise you to improve in your posting pattern if you post very well no moderator will delete your post However, if you actually want to leave this forum you are free to, just abandon your account and go.

Op this is not the best way to go, there must be something that led to the deletion of your post, and what you should have done is to find out what is the cause of this post deletion by the moderator ,by going through the forum rules and study it ,and by so doing you will definitely find out what was wrong with your post instead of telling the moderator to delete your account.

Because deleting your post by moderator is not out of hatred or envy rather to maintain the forum rules and regulations, and it is not just you only it happens to everyone here both the old and the new because no one is above the law.

Perhaps you were thinking it was a place that can be easily manipulated but you later realized it was the wrong place for you. However If I were you I would have conduct a proper review to see where am having short comings, what am not getting right because the moderator will not just delete your posts for no reasons, something might have gone wrong that you haven't figured out yet. But if you are still insisting on exiting the forum then the forum will always do better without you.
