I am not the best person to consult in anything Shares but I don’t know why I have very high expectations about the space X shares already the publicity there. I will have to relate it to a causal example like the publicity Drake has for the dropping of his albums even before he dropped it you don’t expect it not to do well.
Space X share has to be the one shares that has the biggest hype even before it dropped although do make investments based on hype.
If you consider the hype that Tesla managed to achieve at various times, with a share price well beyond it's (current and future) profit potential, then there may be the chance it goes to the moon (before crashing back down to earth). Some of the things it's doing are highly impressive, if starlink will be included and potentially Musk merging in xAI too. However like Tesla it will probably see it's early advantages erode over time and it might be highly priced from the outset.
The only way to value a share is how much profit it's making or how much you expect it to grow in future. The fact that Elon is creating a "golden share" which gives him override ability on all decisions will make it slightly less attractive. It's his company but he has done some very toxic and frankly stupid things over the years, which means your money will be at the mercy of that craziness too.
