I mined for 24 hours on multipool. Waffle sent the batch, but I haven't received any community coins yet. My question, has anyone received community coin from the multipool yet?

MultiPool Quick StatsWe are already buying COMM with some payouts received. There are 80 addresses created, not all of them are mining (I think probably many just tried it to see how it works). I'm considering sending the COMM payouts once a week while it is not automated. Before automating it I will prepare some stats, this will improve the transparency of the process. Wafflepool is a very easy choice since they do not require an account to be created neither the payouts configured BUT they do charge 2% from every miner. I would recommend anyone willing to improve the profits to check http://WeMineALL.com and other similar options. WeMineAll is from the same creators of WeMineLTC, they work with 0% fee and only ask anyone to configure a donation percentage (although it is not required). As everything in life it also has its pros and cons, anyone willing to use these other options will need to create accounts and setup the miners accordingly (do not forget to setup auto-payout to be sent to the BTC address you got from our multipool). As the 200M missing coins are kind of a problem I want to gather another bounty for fixing the issue.
Either a hard fork or code that hardcodes the wallet as locked are welcome.
I begin by pledging:
150K Comm
for a fix that is implemented.
Whomever is interested in this issue to be resolved, post in this thread or preferabbly PM me with a pledge. Most likely this will go to adriano, he is the one working on the fix right now.
But as he stated, he has a full time job and can't work on it the whole time. So wait a bit and see what happens.
Giving him some additional incentive is just right.
As far as I know the developer hasn't found a solution yet and Adriano's solution was critisiced as being a temporary fix. People are looking for a permanent fix so I think we should look for someone else. Someone here suggested this person https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6269233#msg6269233The dev contacted him but hasn't received a response he said, so I suggested he offer him 2 stakes. It might help if people suggest a capable person who might help with this problem first before collecting bounties. Top dev who can probably solve this issue. It might help if more people contact him Instead of trying to contact him directly those with Twitter accounts simply retweet your tweet...community effort like our Mintpal voting. High probability we'll get his attention and raise awareness for COMM. |

I just talked to Adriano again and he reported he received some payments from the multipool and now tries to buy comm from bittrex and poloniex(each time from where it's cheaper) and after he receives the full payout on monday which is without limit he will buy all comm and spread it to the miners accordingly.
If this works out fine, he will make this the standard procedure for next week.
He will probably write some more later himself, when he has some time.

Isn't it better to buy for higher price to support COMM price movement upwards? I disagree with this. While this is certainly better for holders, I think Adriano has a duty to the miners to buy the cheapest coins for them. Remember that at least some of the miners will be people who did not receive stakes, and for sure I would not mine on a multipool if I knew I was getting a bad deal on the coins in order to line the pockets of others. |

I just talked to Adriano again and he reported he received some payments from the multipool and now tries to buy comm from bittrex and poloniex(each time from where it's cheaper) and after he receives the full payout on monday which is without limit he will buy all comm and spread it to the miners accordingly.
If this works out fine, he will make this the standard procedure for next week.
He will probably write some more later himself, when he has some time.
Isn't it better to buy for higher price to support COMM price movement upwards? I disagree with this. While this is certainly better for holders, I think Adriano has a duty to the miners to buy the cheapest coins for them. Remember that at least some of the miners will be people who did not receive stakes, and for sure I would not mine on a multipool if I knew I was getting a bad deal on the coins in order to line the pockets of others. Yes, you are right indeed! |
