I don't even buy the idea of writing it in a jotter too. My advise is to have a password manager. Know one password for many passwords. I don’t even think it’s a good idea to store one’s seed phrase on a phone. It’s a bad habit and it shouldn’t be encouraged for any reason. I don’t think op understands the implication of that decision.

Why don’t you buy the idea of writing your wallet phrase in a jotter? The best way to protect your wallet phrase is to write it down in a paper (it could be your jotter or notebook) or any other material you know you can write it down and store it comfortably, but it must not be online. So writing in a jotter that only you can access is not a bad idea of storing one’s seed phrase.

It's not an ideal practice to store your seed phrase electronically. Whether in your phone, laptop, cloud storage, email, note app, password manager, etc. It's not advisable. A hacker can hack and steal your seed phrase remotely by deploying malware to your device. The best practice is to keep it offline. That's to write it on a clean sheet of paper or metallic steel plate and keep it somewhere safe.
