After 20 years as a Legacy member at Heritage Auctions I do not recommend selling through Pia. My communication with her was poor and her approach did not support crypto collectors. While she charged me a 0% sellers commission fee I believe she charges others up to 50% above spot which is much higher than the 0-10% typical elsewhere. She overlooked the fact that my collectibles received the highest grade from PCGS and insisted that I use NGC because of her custom label. She also encouraged funding each collectible possibly to ensure she received a commission fee on all items. I suggested several vendors and collectors to help the space. However she seemed interested only in high end collectibles. I believe that all collectors deserve equal treatment. Overall my instructions were ignored and it did not feel like a partnership.
If you decide to consign with her and Heritage Auction negotiate your commission. I would not pay more than 0-10%.
