When I read the title, I thought this thread is about another winning strategies on casino games since it is titled by "gambling".
I think the title should be changed to "Sports Betting Strategies", because what you explained here is all about sports betting instead of about "gambling" in general.
Just a suggestion ofc since gambling is a general terminology that may contain of many type of games.

It is never possible to win consistently through gambling. You can do proper research and use strategies but it is never possible to win consistently through gambling. To win in gambling, we have to depend on luck, if luck is good, we can win repeatedly through gambling. Research or strategy does not always work to win because there is no confirm that what we guess may not turn out as expected at the end of the day. It is true that gambling is good for entertainment and not for making quick money.

It is not that research and analysing matches before gambling is bad. In fact it is the best but we have been doing that for years yet nothing to write home about. So we depends on our luck. I don't even believe on strong teams again. They can also disappoint and cut someone ticket. But it is good to analyze and search before gambling. The day when your luck come, you smile. There is not guaranteed strategy in gambling.

As a relaxation and a reminder, it is good to do, but I doubt gamblers will consistently pay attention to it. Many gamblers just want to play the game and hope to get lucky. Even when registering at a casino, many gamblers ignore reading the terms and conditions. Losing in gambling is certain, but the choice not to lose everything can be made. It all depends on the gambler's willingness.

You're right, I'm almost sure that over 99% of people don't read the TOS. But it doesn't matter as long as you are playing on a trusted site because the ToS don't contain any hidden mines for most trusted casinos.

I don't even mind people betting for fun without any strategies and too many thoughts because eventually gambling will lead to loss only.

All the overthinking and strategies only give you false hope that you can win, when in reality, you can't. If you are gambling randomly without too many thoughts and analysis, you at least know it's all fun and a game.

The most of important thing is all about making profit in the long run because that's what can be achieved through strategic gambling. No matter how skilled you are as a gambler there is no way that you can get a guaranteed win from gambling no matter what you do or how hard you try, gambling is always going to be a game of luck. Okay let's even assume that a gambler started out with the mentality of expecting profits when gambling, if after several attempts he wasn't profitable as he expected, his Instinct or common sense should already tell him that gambling dosen't guarantee profit and so he should very well stop chasing profit through it... Still at that some folks will still want to go ahead to chase profit, probably because they think that a few adjustments in there strategy will land them in profit....And this mentality of expecting a profit is what further fuel their desire to keep go back in and chasing their lose, which may continue to land them in more losses ....

Strategies are formed just to try gambling, and they are never certain. But it is so unfortunate that many gamblers believe so much in strategy, and these strategies entice them to gamble with money that they can't afford to lose.

Strategy can be made by anybody, and everyone is just trying to be lucky to win in gambling; no one knows it best, and there is no need to be controlled by strategy.

I agree with you, although there are indeed strategies that we can use to increase the chances of winning when betting but it's best not to take it too seriously and even not to rely entirely on strategies because after all the big chance that will happen is still defeat, it's better to do it naturally and not put high hopes. And even strategies cannot guarantee to control the victory.

It's hard not to expect to be in profit somehow when you're a gambler spending, although it's the right thing to do by not being in high expectations for profit because the more your expectations grows the more the tendency of you turning towards profit chasing when it looks like it's not fort coming. Except it's a fixed game there's no game that is guaranteed to give profit but even fixed game this days are rare to find.

I think we can simply put it as "to be versatile".  Since we know that there is no fixed strategy that can ensure our winnings in gambling, we should adapt according to the situation.  This is like reading the situation, having knowledge of what is happening, and being smart enough to decide which approach is the best in each situation.

To be tied to a single strategy in gambling simply means we are limiting ourselves, and this situation will surely bring doom to our bankroll.

But make sure to have limitations.  Gambling without limitation is like filling a bucket that is full of holes.

If people were less prone to believing in the fairy tale of "getting rich quick through gambling", and if they actually understood how these games work, they would have come to this conclusion long ago! And the reason is simple-the game is governed by probability theory, and with evenly distributed probabilities, there are no methods to predict the outcome in advance with any degree of accuracy!
And most importantly-accept the idea that gambling is ENTERTAINMENT for money, where winning is just a nice bonus!

I agree with you. Gambling is all about luck. No amount of experience, knowledge or skill comes into play here. When you talk about sports betting, I think it all depends on luck too. Even if it is not like that, many experienced sports bettors also face huge losses. To me, if you can reduce your losses from gambling, it is a kind of profit. Because if you want to continue gambling for long-term entertainment, you must work to reduce your losses.
