I can see that some of the Nigeria top politicians, both past, and present are pushing their children into politics, and i believe the reason for that is because they know their is money in Nigeria politics. These set of people have taken advantage of the country Nigeria as leaders, and are bringing their own children to come and begin from where they stopped. These men have no good record in their leadership history which I know their children will surely do the same, they have formed it as a team for their own children to take over the leadership of the country Nigeria understanding they have no good reputation, it ought not to be so.

The same way Buhari’s first son Yusuf has been pushed to contest for the position of House of Representatives where he had just recently secured the APC ticket to contest for the Sandamu, Daura and Mai’adua federal constituency seat in Katsina. Second person aside from Atiku’s son who you just mentioned picked the Senatorial position form, is Wike’s son with name Jordan. This Jordan guy has actually been following his dad lately to appear on public functions and meetings now Jordan has positioned himself to contest for the position of Obio-Akpor Federal House of Representatives in Rivers state then another person is El Rufa’i’s son who is popularly known within the political space already as a serving legislator who is also seeking for his reelection for a second term. He just resigned from APC and moved to ADC recently, the same party with his father. We have more names such as son of Bafarawa former governor of Sokoto state who is also contesting for the position of governor and the son of former governor adamu Muazu who’s also contesting for the position of the governor of the state too. Politicians are funny and have successfully turned elective poltical positions as family inheritance and venture where the father leaves and gives the son the chance to take over.

This should be a wake up call to all Nigerians that these people are heading to was something and we shouldn't joked with it, therefore we shouldn't fold our hands because this people may just decide to turn our national treasures and resources into their own personal or family business. And again, the craziest part is that we being the ordinary masses instead of complaining and lamenting all time without
a reasonable results, it will makes more sense if we also put our head into politics to counter all these, because it will be more easier to fight them from inside than outside.

You are very correct, many of this politicians don't have the country Nigeria at heart, they are scrambling to rule the country, and not to make it better. The most annoying part is that, they loot money from the country, then go outside the country to develop there. Now, they have made lots of money for themselves, and their own family, yet they are still bringing their children into politics. Let's take a look at the country's present situation today, people are going through hardship without sign of quick recovery, and such person will bring his son to come, and lead the people as well, believe me, they will definitely take advice from their parents. If today these leaders bringing their children have done well in the past, Nigeria citizens would have been so happy to welcome them, instead people are frowning because of the errors of their parents.

What is your take on this ?

That is the current trend in Nigeria, as all politicians are now fixing their children in one political position or another (elective or not). Maybe the stolen money is no more enough for them, as they might have realised that they need more than money to stay relevant. And not even their hugely valued Will can achieve that.

Above all, it is the right of the child as a Nigerian. A 51-year old individual should do well in the senate, provided he is sound himself.

I don't think we should be surprised that Atiku's son is coming of for a senatorial position in Adamawa, because this politicians understand the politics of the country and they also know the kind of money that is involve in it, so they will definitely want their kids to be part of it, which I think it's what every good parent will do. I am not saying that what they are doing is good, because they are not actually good leaders and they are now bringing their kids to take over, which I believe that their kids will also have their ideology,  but I will not blame them for bring their kids into politics,  because they want their kids to do well in life and that's what they know how to do, so they have to reach their kids. Atiku tried several times to contest as the president of Nigeria but failed woefully each time. And right now I'm not surprised to see the news about his son contesting for the seat of the senator in his senatorial district. And I even heard that this his son is even contesting under APC, which happens to be the ruling party, instead of contesting under PDP which is the party of his father, of which we all know he wouldn't have had a chance if he had done the same thing. So Atiku is not the only politicians who is pushing their sons into Politics. Because I also heard that Wike's son is also contesting for the seat of the House of Representation in Ikwere L.G.A in Rivers State. So my simple advice to everybody should be to buckle up oh, because these people our politicians are bringing to replace them will not be any different from them oh.

I see nothing strange in Atiku's son requesting to finish what his father started even as Atiku is still pushing to be called the president of Nigeria before he dies. There is one thing all politicians of Nigeria usually do, which is finding all possible means to maintain power within there surroundings and also pushing to make all become submissive to there lineage.

Atiku's son will is coming to the center to collect his own national cake. You will only complain about it, but it will happen in your front. Omo if we no take our election process serious, bro we go continue to see the coronation they call election, the electoral results sheets won't be seen even by some presiding officers in the Polling units, the resident electoral commissioner of each state will be in charge of all the results and he will not likely release the original result sheet. INEC is the only problem we have, if we fix INEC, we've fixed 95% of our societal problems.

If you're a medical doctor and one of your sons want to be a medical doctor, won't you support him? This same goes for politicians whose sons want to join politics. They will support their sons because it is what every responsibility parents in their place will do. Atiku son declare his intention to contest for a senator is not a bad thing,the young man has interest in politics which is a welcome development to his family and his senatorial district. Atiku son is young and vibrant,he will represent his people effectively in national assembly. My only fear about is ambition is that he might follow his father footprints but if he doesn't then there's nothing wrong  his political ambition.

It’s normal to me for politicians to want to push their children into politics, the dream of every parent is to ensure they support their children to become better version of them, it happens everywhere, even business men tends to push their children into taken over from them when they retire, Atiku have been in politics for a long time now even though he has been contesting and failing elections repeatedly, to me i believe that he feels that since it hasn’t worked for him that he should use his money and influence to support his son, so am really not bothered about his sons political ambition because if i were to be him i will do the same and i believe most Nigerians will do same too.

My concern is that the primary elections ain’t going free and fair, the masses would have accessed Atiku’s son and know if he is the kind of candidate they prefer so as to either vote him in or out but our electoral process is faulty hence, no credible candidate can emerge.

The earlier we understand that politics is a game of personal interest and not for the Masses the better for us, all the top politicians we have is recruiting their children into the system to take over from where they stopped that is to become politicians and embezzle public funds the more, the likes of Nyesom Wike has also pushed his Young Son to purchase the house of Representative tickets in his constituency, they just want the national cake to be rotating within their family, as a Father you don't have to force your children against their wills because of your selfish interest except they made up their minds to toll that part

I can sense that because Atiku Abubakar has tried severally to become president and it's not favoring him that's why he has decided to bring his Son in and see if that ambition will be fulfilled in the near future, but my question is why pushing him to politics and not how to become a successful business Men? Nigeria is a lawless country, if not why would the son of Atiku contest of anything knowing fully well that his father is also contesting for president of our country Nigeria, this is so bad , the country is not organized at all if not one family can't be contesting when their are people all over looking for such opportunities to contest, but due to the lawlessness of the country Nigeria any family can just contest without any remourse, just look at what the Nigeria government has just turn this country Nigeria into.

Is not only money they no is in politics but also power, so they want to use the influence they have on the country to also give command to there children, that's why if this country are not delivered is difficult to see change because as they say that a snake will always give birth to a snake so actually if there children take over the country is the same problem they would still be causing, even Tinubu might be declaring his son very soon and based on his level in Lagos State he would want his son to be the governor of Lagos State so that he would have more edge in becoming the president. Nigerian system is like this, all of them starting from IBB, OBJ name them, it has been their culture, so Atiku will not be an exception, it is unfortunate that thsoe whosd name is not in the clean book of Nigeria will still push their  children to be in one leadership position or the other so how will Nigeria get better, of course we should be expecting a bad leadership, I weep for my country nigeria, I keep asking myself when are we going to get things right in this country. There is nothing we have not heard or seen at this primary election period, a governor of a state has to be persuaded to withdraw from the party primary.
It is not about our take because our opinions does not matter in this country, no matter anything we do or what we like, it is almost impossible for us to stop these politics from grooming their children and positioning them to power.
