We as gamblers should have that confidence have in the right use and time. Being confident doesn't mean that you should be oblivious of the fact that gambling is 50/50 meaning that you can either end up winning or losing so this should remind you that being overly confident might end up becoming a trap that you are walking right into. confidence shouldn't outweigh being strategic and also gambling with an amount that you can afford to lose. A lot of gamblers get too confident in their bets and they end up staking too high which leads to a lot of losses in the long run. it is important to always gamble carefully.

I dont see any reason why one needs to be too confidence in gambling  because gambling is a game of luck and being confidence doesn't change what gambling is all about. Being confidence about something it means you know too well about the outcome but in gambling the outcome are unpredictable so their is no need to be confidence about gambling.  Confident with only decieve one to gamble so much that they cant afford to lose. A gambler that understand gambling very well have nothing to do with confidence because it has more to do with lose.

When I bet a game, I go with the most probable option but that does not means I will repose 100% confidence in the game, I will still keep room for the possibility of being wrong. I know the risk of being too confident in any game... it can easily make someone throw caution into the wind and therefore bet beyond budget. This will surely end in disaster. In summary, it is good to trust whatever process or strategy a gambler is using but such trust should be managed in such a way that there will be room for being wrong.

In some cases, even though someone is rooting for a certain team, in the next bet, it might not be their favorite team that they support. This concerns their assets, I believe that a football fan is very enthusiastic about sports betting, they might bet with more money and have great confidence in the team they bet on, if it still loses, maybe in the next bet they will not support the same team because of money reasons.

I was thinking basically about how we discuss the behaviors of gamblers how they lost a huge sum of money or how they kept on playing without considering the side effects of their actions and the it struck my mind that they must have something in their minds that would trigger them to make those decisions and then I realized that it's "Confidence".
The reason why we treat some bets differently from other isn't because we just want to loss big or expose ourselves to too much risk, it's a matter of confidence that we have toward something( the odds, desperation of the team, players available....) and most of our gambling decisions is based on some level of confidence, if it's something you're unsure of you are likely going to skip the game at the selection stage before it gets to your bet or place small stake on the bet.

However since we now know the importance of our confidence towards our bets how then can we use it to our advantage?
I'll start by saying nothing is certain in gambling even a big team or favorite team in their best form can still lose to an underdog by performing poorly on that match. So that would mean our confidence level should drop to 50% irrespective of the kind of teams playing. But as humans we likely wouldn't treat every game desame way probably because of the stat and desperation of the teams playing, irrespective of how informed any team is, your confidence level shouldn't exceed 60% because the greatest factor of luck still stands.

Without confidence one cannot gamble because gambling takes a lot of courage to gamble, you are giving out your money without any gain but just for the fun therefore confidence is important in other to win . But too much confidence in gambling is dangerous because it can lead you to many losses.

Playing with money meant for financial responsibilities is a wrong idea and will never help with a gambler's confidence. It's best to wager with the funds left after spending on bills, at least the gambler feels relaxed at that time, I've noticed that wrong decisions comes faster when the mind is not at rest.

Confidence when gambling is very important because without confidence you won't be able to be sure that the bets that you are putting your money on is going to give you profit. it is good to be confidence but not in a wrong way. You can be confident when you are gambling responsibly but not when you are gambling irresponsibly or do not even understand the level of risk you are taking. That won’t be seen as confidence again but celebrating ignorance . It is like you saying you are putting energy on something yet that energy is a bad energy, not all energy are positive some can become negative and detrimental to you as the  taker of the risk regardless of the energy attached to it.

Self confidence is important, but self-confidence without any basis is ridiculous. At least there are statistics or efforts made to try to find more appropriate decisions that may be closer to victory. However, on the other hand, self confidence must also be limited and controlled because after all, this is gambling where the results will not always be completely the same as our predictions, so limits on the amount you bet must always be applied.

I only apply with the confidence with a strategy base game because this requires understanding on the game how it works. I believe that hope is what makes a gambler to continue gambling because they have the hope that they can win their next bet or hit the jackpot which is a norm. However, having confidence in your bet isn't good because it might make you stake higher than the amount that you intended to stake and if you lose it, it might affect you emotionally.

Confidence is good as a gambler because it is what will make you to choose team A over team B and why you want to stake a bigger amount on a team against the other because you believe that they have an edge over their opponent. As much as confidence is needed to boost your morale to put money on a player or a team you should beware of being overconfident because you don't own the game that you're betting on. If you're using amount that you are comfortable to loose it wouldn't matter the level of your confidence you will still use small amounts to stake it and that is responsible gambling for you.

In doing sports betting I do it on my favorite team and of course I am confident in doing it although sometimes there is a lack of confidence because it is against an equally strong team but my favorite team is in a bad condition.
I don't think confidence is important, it's just that I feel it when betting on my favorite team because I think no matter how strong our confidence is, it can't beat the luck factor which plays a big role in gambling.

Actually every gambler thinks they know what they are predicting in sportbet, and they are confident about it before they stake, no gambler that makes prediction without being confident of the selection they make. But the result always beat our imagination. I don't see what keep gambler coming as confident but the desire and urge to win the house especially when you have lose too much, you take it up to yourself that you must win back and this makes you keep Gambling and expecting to break a record without knowing that addiction is already in place. Talking about confident, every Gambler/bettor is confident befoe they place their bet but doing it over and over again is a desire that Leeds to addiction.
